My recovery journey was greatly enhanced by the therapeutic benefits of Ayahuasca. Other psychedelics like DMT and LSD have also proven to be remarkable.
One night, I sat down to meditate for about 20 minutes, truly focusing on my breath-exhaling and inhaling deeply, feeling every particle of air as it entered and left my body. As I did this, my mind began to awaken, even with my eyes closed. A strange clarity spread across the back of my head, as if every part of me was alert. When I opened my eyes, everything felt sharper-my mind was laser-focused, and my vision was crisp and clear. There was no doubt, no sense of negativity, just an overwhelming sense that anything once thought impossible was now within reach. It was as if I had tapped into a forgotten state of being, one that felt deeply familiar, like a memory from another time. In that moment, I realized that these thoughts, these feelings, were my truest desires-the keys to unlocking a deeper state of awareness and, perhaps, a permanent connection to that clarity. It was a beautiful, transformative experience. Then I thought to myself, could this be what Christ meant for us to reach as human beings? To embody that consciousness, where no evil exists, no negative intentions, no harmful thoughts, no worries. A state of pure clarity, where love and peace reign-just as He lived. Is this the higher awareness we are meant to attain, a reflection of His mind and spirit? In that moment, I felt the possibility of it, and it stirred something deep within me-perhaps this is the path, the ultimate state of being we are all called to strive for. ~ RUJU
I met her. She exuded such infinite intelligence that i asked if she was an extraterrestrial. She seems to chuckle and said no I’m very terrestrial but aren’t we all. She is extraordinary, strangely beautiful, like a woman snake, ancient. I could see she has endured an almost infinite amount of pain. She seemed slightly amused by me . I asked her to fix my mind and she said “you have a hard brain.” I sense her inside me now, like leaves. I’m a long time science based intellectual, humbled and grateful for this experience that is so sacred I rarely speak of it.
I’ve also met her and my experience was also quite similar ❤ she is so graceful, so beautiful, and so so powerful, so feminine… so grounded. I couldn’t get enough of her. She has a sense of humour, swift but gentle. She’d also make comments to me, like when I asked her ‘please tell me what’s my purpose’, she’d respond ‘just dance, just dance, it’s all just a dance of energy’ and then she’d show me the most incredible patterns… it was the most beautiful experience of my life. It’s actually hard to describe it with words.
My friend told me he had a DMT trip , locked away with a friend in a safe room . He changed from depression and became focused on the things that mattered and not what was out of his control. He is a skilled bricky and his work is amazing , he was fat 50" waist now he has a 34" . He stopped drinking , now he just smokes weed and pollen . 💪👍

I dont like the idea of not being in control of myself and mind, Question: is it like say.. weed where if you take a lot, you loose grip on whats happening, or are you very aware but seeing things?
@@chettykenney5115 Which is close to Ayahuasca? Shrooms or dmt? And did you try it on your own or have someone there? Guess its good to have someone there incase one freaks out?
I used ayahuasca more than 100+ every time she is gentle, clean my traumas, makes me cry so I can clean all those moments in my life that I refuses to cry because my ego said no! Learned me to be a better man, husband and dad…I learn not to judge my family because everybody is trying to do his best…And more other things. Oh plus I started to be more focused, smart and I forget…after the first 2 ceremonies I started to read a looot
Hello and thanks for sharing your experience i saw the comment and every one mention "her" or "She" in good terms. If you can describe it ,is it a creature or a humain and what answer can u have being in that state Am curious to know and would be greatful to hear from your experiences And if you could list some books that you would recomand it Thank you @Cryptodracula9985
I never drank Ayahuasca, but I've done Changa (the smokable form of DMT + IMAOs) multiple times and for me it was really a crazy experience, words can't fully describe it. It truly lifts a veil into matter and reality and allows you to see "other things". And breakthroughs are incredible, but this can change your life forever.
I've also seen exquisite otherworldly beauty via Changa but I strongly recommend you try Ayahuasca when you can, it's a whole other experience that lasts a lot longer.
@@A_O-o3p For me it was in a good way. It took away my fear of death, and it made me realise that my life was very worthy and that it had a meaning in the cosmic scale. It made me realise too that they were sentient beings in other realms that we can accede. Made me think about the nature of the soul, or the "thing" that travels during a breakthrough. Took away all self-deletation fantasies that I had since a very traumatic childhood. But it creates a division between your life from before and the one from after, and some of the trips have been BY FAR the worst experiences I ever had during the trip. I never regretted any of them when they were finish, but I really was convinced that I died multiple times in those moments, even tough I "know" you can't die from it. It can feel as the entire unverse is crumbling and that it is impossible that it will get back in order one day, but it always had for me. But I've seen people traumatised by bad trips and it triggered "schizophrenia" or something like that and they were never the same. So it can change it for the better or the worse
Research shows that psilocybin mushrooms have promising results for mental health support, particularly in reducing symptoms of depression, anxiety and PTSD.
You can get the experience through deep meditative state. But it’s not a short cut like Ayahuasca. You got to practice long hours of consistent meditation (most people, some rare cases have instantaneous state) because just because you meditate doesn’t mean you fall into a “meditative state”.
Yes, I feel that too. I can go into meditative state instantly, so weird. I have very little experience with meditation and now I can just flip a switch.... Somebody tell me how and why?

Doctors should be writing prescriptions for DMT not pharmatoxic drugs. The most beneficial part was I quit drinking over a year ago, 2 weeks after I had my trip. It didn't make sense anymore
@justabitofsaltandpepper do you guys mind explaining why it didnt make sense to drink anymore? I want to understand and not have the want to drink as well not just discipline to not drink it.
They didnt have to eat combinations by trial and error. They instinctively knew. It's not complicated. That's not an insult, it's a fact. They were connected to nature by living amongst nature. They are psychicly connected to nature.

@@pedroferrari7693 I was in the Amazon with a shaman as a guide. This guy literally told me nature is telling him to go to places and eat certain medicinal plants. These people are more connected with nature than we could ever imagine
There's an intruiging connection between how the brain rewires after injury and how drugs temporarily rewire the brain. The implication in both cases is that our brain is made of multi-modal modules, each functioning for different purposes in different arrangements depending on circumstance. Nearly every single part of our bodies is multi-modal, so this would be the norm, not the exception. DMT in this case would tell parts of the brain that aren't normally conscious to become conscious.

During one ceremony that i did some years ago, I asked Mother Aya about the fact that ayahuasca doesn't actually contain any DMT. She just smiled at me and said, "I am the Gatekeeper". Given the fact that it's the ayahuasca that makes the DMT accessible to the human body, I thought it was a beautiful answer.
@@michaelmelvin7045 The final brew called; "Ayahuasca", is made by boiling two or more different plants together. One of these plants must contain the actual hallucinogen. The ayahuasca vine is other one. I ask mother A. the question because the ayahuasca vine itself doesn't contain any hallucinogen.
My wife was born in a small community in Amazonas, Brazil. They use Ayahuasca regularly. I feel blessed to have a direct connection to a true source of the medicine. ❤
The entities I encountered on LSD had a distinct, archon-like presence, highly mechanical and technological. DMT journeys felt more ethereal with a spiritual quality that resonated deeply with me.

Psilocybe Cubensis is a great starting point. Lysergic Acid Diethylamide next as it's around 10x's more potent, then obviously N-Diemethyltryptamine, then 5-Meo-DMT which is 4x stronger than N-DMT.
As a teenager, one tab of LSD, and one quarter (25 cents) would allow me to play Pinball all afternoon, till closing time at my local arcade. LSD improved my reflexes, vision, etc., with LSD, and just 25 cents into the machine, I couldn't lose, and would just keep wining, wining, and rack the machines game counter to max. Yes, to begin with I was very good at pinball, but on LSD, I was truly absolutely amazing at it. While on LSD, I never tried to communicate with birds, or wolves, although I did see one of my friends foot morf into a goat's hoof, and once while Iistening to my Pick Floyd the Wall album my living room floor turned into a wavy ocean. Bird communication No, but I could actually communicate with pinball machines 😁

It’s a testament to the depth of the mystery of the human psyche, same as is the rise of civilization. Graham got us hypnotized we’ll figure it out tho
3:22 - yes, LSD can do it. I have done LSD twice. First time was on purpose, second time was on accident (didn't know it can absorb into your skin when i held it in my hand long enough to give to a friend) My first real LSD trip, was a 4x dose. The seller didn't tell me he sold me 4 tabs that needed to be cut so...yea that was a wild ride. It was the most horrifying experience of my life. Do i feel like it opened my mind to a world that exists around me I cannot normally, see? Yes. Do i feel I was meant to see it? No - in a way. During my experience I kept telling myself, there is clearly a reason I have to take a substance to unlock this part of my brain, and I cannot do it without it. It's by design and during my trip I kept thinking of Adam and Eve. When satan in the form of a snake told Eve to eat the apple, but God said to not. She was persuaded to eat the forbidden fruit and God condemned them. I felt like that night - I was Eve in my situation. I ate the forbidden fruit. There were some benefits to it - I remember picking up a pack of cigarettes to go for a walk to shake off the bad spikes of the trip where it was a "Bad" trip and I said "wait a minute, I smoke? Omg - but this is so bad for you!" I quit smoking tobacco because of LSD. By my name, you can see I am a musician, and something happened where I can visually, with my eyes, *SEE* music - which is pretty cool. This was 10 years ago and the effects of it are still lasting. But for the most part, it was 12 hours of absolute hell on earth. It had its moments where I saw things and thought "wow this is beautiful" but then it felt like Satan was over me trying to constantly take away the beauty from me. I started to see the trip as in "the world will always have good and beauty, but along with that is evil and horror and there must be a balance" Now, I am not bing on the horoscope stuff, but I am a Libra so thats probably why my trip went in that direction. I was supposed to be shown the balance of life which again, still today has had an everlasting effect on me. I woke up the next morning from the trip crying. I woke up, got in my car, and just went for a drive. IT was around 8am, and I remember driving around and seeing people, trees, stores, and I had no idea what I was looking at. It felt like I was reborn and i cried so hard. I thought I was going to have fun - instead I spoke to God and Satan and reality was thrown in my face. I felt like a newborn baby, and I even thought "Is this why babies cry when theyre born? Because this is exactly what they are feeling?" It had some good benefits, but I will never, ever, ever do it again. I got enough out of that trip, and it was a very high dose. The second trip wasn't as strong. I felt small peaks of the same trip from previous but the dosage was much lower and for the first 2 hours I was NOT having fun (and I was at a music festival)...but I did let go and let it take me and I had the night of my life I will never forget - but nothing that was any sort of revelation like the first trip. The biggest cons of having this experience is I have forever been suffering from chronic anxiety now and now have to take Benzo's to keep it under control. My life is normal, I do have a new outlook on it, and for years it made me actually quite depressed, but I guess thats because I didn't know what to do with what I experienced and slowly learned how to move on with my newfound revelations.
I think you are suffering from the duality of satan and god. I too have had the thought that perhaps mushrooms were the fruit in genesis or Pandoras box and that we learned to speak from it and untimely it removed ourselves from nature, gave us a introspective outlook on actions. gave us control over nature. But its just whole.
(For the people who cannot fly to the Amazon). The Master Key System was written in 1919 and it seems it can provide something in accordance with what I think Ayahuasca is offering. Through mental exercises to bring the Subconscious and the Conscious mind to work together turning a human into an unlimited powerful being. I've been reading this method for years and keep finding parallels when people who drunk Ayahuasca says things like: It's all Consciousness. But in the book it also says that there's but One Consciousness which pervades the whole Universe. And any seemingly evil is the mere absence of mental power. It seems like that's where it differs from Ayahuasca experience, as people mention of good and bad entities accessing their mind. I don't know.

I seen Buddha, the eye of the tiger, and a long haired bearded face form from the clouds on a 200 gram cubensis trip. The geometry had eyes in the spaces like some Alex Grey art work. The colors were beaming into my vision bright as the sun. I had the feeling that we are all one. Joy and happiness. The music was beautiful. This went on for 7 hours straight. Its so dumb that the greatest medicine on the planet is demonized and kept illegal.
A lot of people see the geometry. Check out Allison Grey’s art. She formulated an entire alphabet while looking at the geometrical shapes while she was altered.
I trust that Lex hasn't done Ayahuasca or any hallucinogenic by the sound of it, but his response to this very thoughtful and insightful treatise from Mr. Hancock was to sweep it all aside and put it all in a box as "mind" and "imagination".... a little disappointed with that response. Closest I'll ever get to even thinking about having an opportunity to receive anything beneficial from something like ayahuasca is just listening to people talk about how magical and life changing it is. No way for people like me to ever get help
In my last DMT experience I was greeted with joy and love upon entering by the usual ecstatic 🤩 hyper emoji beings. As the journey began winding down I was shown myself smoking and it looked completely absurd! Literally inhaling burning poison ☠️?!! And my kratom dependency as going through life with 30% of the colour/emotion/experience filtered out- it was a vision of me with a fuzzed out/empty spot in front of my head. As the visuals faded a blue cat woman head morphed out of a wall of patterns and gave me stern side-eye! Finally a visual of the strong female presence I’ve always felt in there! Everything is conscious Hermano, even the screen your staring at. Every pixel has consciousness. Everything had to go through a process in order to be able to exit in this environment . It means it surpassed other forms of existing as material. Again, everything is conscious
What a gem of a human. Regarding psychedelics the term realer than real comes to mind. We see 2D images at 4-8kbwith the latest screens. This was significantly more clear and dimensional. Very uplifting and rewarding break from the physical plane.
Life doesnt want everyone to be the same. Life above all else values variety . Its insurance. If everything is a beetle then 1 bad beetle disease and its all over. There are 7 billion humans, not every single one of them is supposed to be the same little drone. If you come up with a crazy idea life wants you to follow it. To greatness or ruin doesn't matter so long as you tried a different way.
Graham says Aya is a teacher, I’d say yes and she’s a healer. I’ve been to her realm 68x and Huachuma 84x and they both teach and heal in very different ways. Recommend both.
Those ''encounters with sentients''who supposed to teach in those experiences are not what Graham and others believe means. Those Encounters' are with ourselves when we knew better, when we knew very differently from what we know now. In those experiences when the door was open into our past our realities were incredibly different from the so called present time .

People are gobbling up every word of this mainstream netflix star as if it's all true. "Every person seeking a position of power should do ayahuasca", yeah sure. Amazonian tribes used to do ayahuasca all the time to perform black magic on their enemies. And now there are also many stories that came to light of shamans that sexually abused their clients. Doing psychedelics does NOT automatically turn a bad person in to a good person. And many people have indeed lost their minds from psychedelic drugs. Personally I would recommend against ayahuasca and people.to just stick to mushrooms/lsd. You can have a ++++ trip on LSD that is just as intense and spiritual as ayahuasca, but it will be safer for your brainchemistry and sanity. There is "something" that is more intense to ayahuasca, sure. But i also believe that that "something" is causing more people.to.lose their shit compared to acid/shrooms. Which is unfortunate, because, no experience that lasts only a few hours is worth years of damage needed to heal from; or worse. Shrooms are just as spiritual, but more safe.
Yes, it tastes disgusting but the results are incredible.... it should be offered rather than toxic pharma drugs. Everyone should try it at least once in their life🙏

If everyone is having the same experience wouldnt it be the case it’s bc we have similar brains and the chemical reaction is responsible for this rather than we are experiencing the same beings. I love the idea but if I can “figure out” a reasonable explanation that doesn’t involve invoking a higher sentient being I can’t just ignore that to be the case. So no matter age ethnicity gender etc we all have the same reaction much like we would have the same reaction to other medicine. This medicine just happens to give a hallucination type reaction. Either way the benefits are still there such as greater empathy and the ability to heal as in the case of depression.
Graham is pretty good and on point, however I would like to add that like any substance, it has to be used in moderation, you have to have integration, just like shamans in the Amazon are there to guide you on your journey before, during and after. Ayahuasca and pure forms of dmt can be easily abused, as a means of escaping reality, not dealing with your life. It’s important to be present and know when trip ends reality begins, do the work on yourself, do things for mind and body besides using psychedelics.

Wow!
Far out. Sounds profound
Wow!! That is beautiful 🙏❣️🙏

How frequently did you do it - gap between each ceremony?
I never drank Ayahuasca, but I've done Changa (the smokable form of DMT + IMAOs) multiple times and for me it was really a crazy experience, words can't fully describe it. It truly lifts a veil into matter and reality and allows you to see "other things". And breakthroughs are incredible, but this can change your life forever.
Tempting
I've also seen exquisite otherworldly beauty via Changa but I strongly recommend you try Ayahuasca when you can, it's a whole other experience that lasts a lot longer.
@@craigjones21 I will for sure. I'm planning to go in the jungle and immerse myself some time there and find a good chaman with whom to do it.
Changing your life in a good or bad way ?

You can get the experience through deep meditative state. But it’s not a short cut like Ayahuasca. You got to practice long hours of consistent meditation (most people, some rare cases have instantaneous state) because just because you meditate doesn’t mean you fall into a “meditative state”.

Wonderful clip, Graham Hancock is another hero we the people have earned
Thank you for doing this podcast.
HANCOCK IS ON POINT!
Graham is cool to listen to, has good views on society, and the bad leadership we endure, especially lately.

As the visuals faded a blue cat woman head morphed out of a wall of patterns and gave me stern side-eye! Finally a visual of the strong female presence I’ve always felt in there! Live better she said in my head
Great advice I'll take from her too. Thanks for sharing.
1:43 great point, mate.
My Lesson and experience from smoking 5 MEO Dimethyltryptamine NN DMT, and doing Ayahuasca once wa an overwhelming feeling to treat everyone the same as id like to be treated and never steal or Lie. although not everyone is Lucky to live in Northern Rivers NSW.

I had the best experience of my life, I was out for close to 8 hours, can't wait to do it again.
Very uplifting and rewarding break from the physical plane.
who are we to tell someone else what they can do with their own body
We are god in the flesh
Because people are morons. People like Hancock and Lex can’t comprehend how thick people are and need rules
The amount of ads is insaneee! Gotta get my phone or run to it to skip these at work!
Great. Just what we need.
OMG i’ve said the exact same thing as our leaders are filled with greed , power hungry, egotistical to the point of madness war and war .
Graham says Aya is a teacher, I’d say yes and she’s a healer. I’ve been to her realm 68x and Huachuma 84x and they both teach and heal in very different ways. Recommend both.
😂
Those ''encounters with sentients''who supposed to teach in those experiences are not what Graham and others believe means. Those Encounters' are with ourselves when we knew better, when we knew very differently from what we know now. In those experiences when the door was open into our past our realities were incredibly different from the so called present time .

@@chettykenney5115I am not a user and I never had taken any of these psychedelics But I understand why they are beneficials and they should be used by everyone. After all they are much better than tobacco or alcohol. These 2 are depressant so is sugar and carbs.
The only problem is people do not understand what they are seeing and the real meanings of these wonderful life changing adventures which literarily removes the user, separates him or her from others, the so called regular folks.
On this Planet being different is not tolerated by this society and for this reason people don't dare to share their experiences.
The reason I do not take any of these things you mention because I have the ability to see images without them.
@@chettykenney5115 and this one too?
Most informative interview….a must watch….the Vredefort impact structure…biggest on planet earth is a most interesting place to visit
I am 73 and I planned for my ceremony here , with my young son.
My encounter with these elven creatures and the rivers of code remains vivid and compelling….and I still spend time trying to make sense of it all….but no question…one of the most significant and life changing experiences ever….and I hope to repeat several times once I have completed my current project
I wish to add that kyudo…Japanese archery is a passion I embrace …solo….and the retreat seem to have made several deep kyudo concepts clearer….and intellectually many doors have opened….i have no doubt that the rivers of code are still active …doing what they intend ….
How do i find a place to go to experience it?
Google it. There are places you can fly to to experience it
@Rhythmia in Costa Rica
We need Joscha Bach in this discussion
I hope the drip form becomes more readily available that sounds way less stressful 😂

love me some Graham Hancock....
What a lovely conversation, likely only made possible by a shared experience. Graham failed to mention or perhaps doesn't know, that MAOIs have the same effect on inhaled NN DMT. The experience becomes profoundly interactive and often painfully unheimlich.

I’ve had about 12 journeys each of high dose Ayahuasca, 5meo don’t, ketamine, and bufo. I feel bufo and 5mro have had the deepest and most profound physical and emotional healing effects. But they all are super beneficial with good guidance
Thanks for sharing
Great Alex Grey art
Smoking the frog venom Bufo Alvarius in Mexico was an eye opening for me. I really believe my soul left my body and I went home where I came from. I had around 10 to 15 min trip and then some visuals when I came back for about 2 minutes
Once in a life experience
I met Graham Hancock at Rythmia Costa Rica where he , I and all did Ayahuasca. Myself 4 days a week over two weeks - so 8, times for me. Graham was there for the first week at Rythmia.
Where can we find more about “sentient others”?

Saint Daime, Mestre Ireneu, took the tea and spread to Brazil.
Doesn't Mimosa Hostilis also contain DMT in its root bark?

plant medicine/sacred plants are truly incredible!
I was facing Ganesha at every moment and we talked all night... It was a beautiful experience that changed my life! It was an intimate gathering in a forest in Parati (Brazil). I am Brazilian, and people have invited me for years... But only this time did I feel it in my heart... It was once! There were 4 people in total, one of whom became my husband. (She brought us together) And I always remember it with great respect and gratitude! 🩷
Beautiful story! Bless
Great topics and discussion. Very important views here. I really enjoyed the position on government and its role trying to control human experience and behaviour in terms of legality. Especially the idea of having psychedelic experiences be mandatorily had by would be heads of government or really any conducting body.
Wonder how animals react to ayuhuasca
The images with human body with cat or dog head looks pretty cool
Does anyone know what happens when DMT given to elderly with dementia.?
Yes I was able to ger mine from this online store they got great dmt and other products

Maybe that is not a bad thing.. Marriage can be like prison that is not always in benefit of personal growth..
Yes, it tastes disgusting but the results are incredible.... it should be offered rather than toxic pharma drugs. Everyone should try it at least once in their life🙏

It’s intriguing to me how Jung connected all of this sans psychedelics
Great interview. You should try to get Wade Davis (rockstar anthropologist) on your show.
I’m curious to read about or find out more about drip experiences on DMT and encounters with sentient others, I would appreciate if anyone can share a link or video.
DMT I had a “teal energy” lady guide. She appeared and although i had my eyes closed, I knew what color represented her and she was there to guide me. I did not want to leave, they told
Me it was not my time to stay. I cannot wait to go back.

I would love to try ayahuasca! Sounds it can defiantly benefit me but would not have a clue to where to find it in Australia.
Put it out to the universe and it will become apparent as the medicine calls you
If everyone is having the same experience wouldnt it be the case it’s bc we have similar brains and the chemical reaction is responsible for this rather than we are experiencing the same beings.
