  • Created by InShot:inshotapp.page... In this video, filmed on December 7th, I witnessed the most awesome display of Mother Nature's destructive power I've ever seen personally. It is still blowing my mind hours later from returning from the beach. Still can't believe it. We did find a few agates and I shared another couple stories...one I've been wanting to share! Please come along and join us on an unforgettable trip to Whitefish Point! The video is the longest I've aired, hopefully you will stay till the end. Oh, and I finally was blessed with a new set of wheels...I show you our new family ride. Thank you so much for tooning in! Oh by the way...if you have a chance to watch the video...father, daughter and friend...you will easier be able to tell what kind of destructive power I am referring to in this video!

      It's a beautiful car....totally not what I was expecting! But it should be a great family car...and good gas mileage! It would cost my truck 40 to 50 bucks to make it to the beach and back! It took out Buick 15 bucks! That's a huge savings!

    you absolutely can pick rocks from Whitefish Point, but you should keep to the west side of the beach, there is no law against it, the preserved area is to the east and it is for protected birds and its a seasonal rule. not much different than Vermilion point, you have to respect the land and protected birds nesting grounds. I've hunted whitefish for 25 years, there is nobody who will stop you, the dnr rangers will even tell you the same.

      Don’t you worry about those zip ties and pop rivets bud, just adds character to the vehicle! You’re right about all those buttons though ? Would take me forever to learn what they all do lol, keep hunting and inspiring all of us with your videos man

    Also picking one or 2 berries won't hurt the plant and they will produce more.😊 I have picked wintergreen berries all my life and its not hurt the plant.😊

      You're right, but being a federal wildlife preserve it is prohibited to pick anything or take anything. So I'm going to find another place to pick! I've also picked wintergreen berries all my life! Thank you for watching!

      @@upperpeninsulabeautiful I did, I sent you a link, from what I found out, 3 different organizations take ownership of whitefish point, Michigan Audubon Society, Seney National lakeshore and The Whitefish Point Historical Society own the property. But the Audubon Society make some rules for what you can and cannot do. Picking berries is one thing you can do and it mentions in in the link I sent you.😀

    On Monday, 11/27, there was a sustained 40-50MPH NW wind that lasted for 36 hours! On Wednesday, 12/6, there was a 40MPH South wind that lasted for a few hours. I am guessing it was the sustained 40-50MPH wind on 11/27. Does that fit in your timeline?

    • @upperpeninsulabeautiful
      @upperpeninsulabeautiful  9 месяцев назад +1

      Yes, that does fit in! I was there the day before the winds. But in the Sault they weren't close to as high as they were at the point. How interesting...the weather can be so different just 50 miles away. Regardless the points transformation was awesome! Still can't believe how much land is gone!
