Great video today. Good luck on your trip. You're gonna love the Adirondack s I live in saratoga 15 mins from Lake George, I been all through the white mountains and up mount Washington numerous times. Good luck and enjoy that trip.
Hey Chris, love your videos! you get to ride through such wonderful places! I'm currently working from home, raining outside! desperate to get out on the spyder! haha, hopfully the sun will be back!
Enjoyed the video. The tallest mountain east of the Mississippi riber is Mt Mitchel in North Carolina. It is 6684 feet ASL or 2037 meters. When I lived in Mexico I lived at 2197 meters above the sea lol. Anyway, Mt Washigton is lower at 6288 feet or 1917 meters. I like your take on the upgrades, personally I would take away with all the tank buttons as I would like to fit my Mosko Moto tank bag there. Looking forward to your next episode. Cheers from Swede in Sweden
I have a 22F3S. Just hit 7000 miles. When I bought it it had 1500 miles. Just completed a trip from Virginia to Texas! No problems at all. Respect to all!
Just subscribed! I’m thinking of getting a spyder and I enjoyed your video because I know the area lol I live an hour south of buffalo. I’m currently on a Harley Electra glide and due to my knees I have to go to a 3 wheel bike👍
I do agree with the mirror complaints, I just bought some stick on wide angle mirrors and will give them a try. We climbed Mt Washington with our side by side and will be doing it with our Spyder in the fall.
Hi!I have Spyder ST limited 2015 an got DESS Error and no real dealer around, nobody can’t fix it, have no idea what to do. I love this bike just a small problem can’t drive
My beef with the mirrors is that they shook all the time! I would go to look and the image was constantly blurred by the shaking. So, I bought the mirror locks from Lamonster garage, problem solved.
My dealership has a 2023 Spyder RT, brand new marked down to 20k flat (US dollars) Seems like good deal ya? They have a service shop and it all is about 6 miles from my house. Approx 95% good reviews online for their service.
For the 2024 RTL (I am sure all 2024 models with the heated grips) You can actually adjust the heat of the grips from handle bar cluster (including turning them off/on). However, there are no settings for the heated seats, you still need to use the buttons by the key.
@@SpyderChrisYT Yeah, also you can adjust it via the touch screen (but I believe you have to be stopped. The touch screen won't allow you do much of anything when the bike is in motion).
Random bits... perchance the accessory is a Garmin Zumo XT? My 23 F3T mirrors suck. They are too low and my elbows block the view. You have to move your head and take your eyes off the road to see. I am experimenting with a set of Big Eye handlebar mounted mirrors. I just sold my R1200GS. Best bike I've ever owned. Age and balance necessitated switching to a Spyder full time. I think having important 'riding' functions (heated grips, etc.) controlled by options on a screen is a GIGANTIC safety hazard. That is why I will never own a Tesla. Just my 2¢. Ride on, keep your eyes on the road and stay safe!
My new 2023 RT has been in the shop over three weeks now, 5300 miles. Making noise dealer found spicy metal oil. Missing several group trips and prime riding while they wait for warranty to decide what to do.
Is the trunk rack OEM? On your comment on the radiator intake screens, I did the same thing on my 2023 RT. They were a bit pricy for stainless steal but I would rather have something beefier forward than depend on than the cheap OEM ones. One good rock then you are dead on the road.
Great views

Similar position here. Just got back from a 2000 mile journey. Great rides. I have 7,000 miles, lots of good miles.

Thanks for subscribing! I ride down to Ellicottville often. Love riding through the hills down there. You’ll love the Spyder if you get one.

Like my wide angle mirrors
Awesome!
Hi Chris, kinda nit pickey but everyone has their own ideas. Looking forward to the next adventure. A trip we would love to make someday. 😜
I suggest you consider "Rok straps" to secure rear seat luggage etc.
I’ll check them out. Thanks!
Yes... So this!!!
What you need is a rear-facing camera and display... Also, there are after-market parabolic mirrors you can get for under $100.

Yikes! Sorry that happened to your machine.
The heat rear hand grip you would need to be careful with tie down hooks as you may damage the element inside the rubber case?
"Rok" straps might be a solution

I haven’t had mine shake enough for me to nice.

I didn’t realize that. Another improvement.

Let me know when you are headed to New Hampshire and perhaps we can meet up.
My visit will be very brief as I’m really on a family visit.

So very sorry to hear that. I’m hoping they get you up and running soon.
I’m curious if you’ll eventually get a trailer for your spyder
Definitely not any time soon. If I do, I’ll post a video.
I'm considering looking for a trailer myself. Been looking at a Stinger trailer... we will see
