Mine was just me trying to try to get as many fairy types in a fairy boosted sandwich and I got 4 who would have thought it was the most important one of the 4 😂
Mine isn’t shiny, but having it already be Tera fighting gave me the same thought process.

Thing I love most is how you not only put effort out to show and or tell strategies you come up with but also give others ideas a solid chance and show just how creative some people's ideas are. And ofcourse making sure to give them a credited shout out. May you keep up the work and thank you for this idea. Time to get me a pig in a blanket ready.
I came up with a similar strat last night, but I was using snarl to drop Typhlosion’s SpAtk while waiting for body press to power up and help keep the randos alive. Also equipped ability amulet to keep any ability removal shenanigans to a minimum. It’s probably less braindead than just mashing body press with metronome, but it was pretty safe.
This is actually a genious strat, cheers to your follower, and cheers to you for all your work in your content!
DAMN that strat is damn brilliant, huge kudos to the that found it in the first place.
I just did the solo with Dachsbun. It works really well, but when it starts using random moves like infernal parade or focus blast after terastalizing, it can fall apart.
That's why I'm thinking shell bell for recovery it will still hit hard once the defense boosts go up and maybe do some attack for extra damage. It can't really KO wiener dog in one hit lol

@@ZGlove. that's if it's burned and daschbun can't be burned. To be extra safe you can add misty terrain as well so even infernal parade can't burn.
@@06twar Just to clarify, Dachsbun gets burned when Typhlosion neutralizes its ability.

Maybe invest the remaining 4 EV into SPDef to handle the random focus blast in case Typhlosion decides that it was to be all focus blast for 3 turns in row
hell, you could even do 252 on both defense stats, it isnt like Daschbun has a lot of HP
@@ThePortalDark EV boosts are independent of base stat so if the base stat is low, there is a higher relative increase from EVs (doubling a low stat is easier than doubling a high one).

This worked way better than I thought. It literally never hit me one time and did it first try. Had a 5iv daschbun just sitting in the box too so it only took me 5 mins to get ready.

Great strat! Gonna try with H-Ursaluna and then try this one. I was actually able to solo the H-Decidueye raid pretty consistently with an Okidogi build (first raid I ever soloed), so I was surprised to see you say on the last video that it was hard.

Yeah this Dasch build not only is perfect for this raid, but I have used it for a few 6 stars after and it is effectively invincible. Oddly, my favorite raid build lol thank you to those that created this and shared it!

Something must have changed. I tried Dachsbun and once he put up the Tera Shield, he started hitting me with Infernal Parade and Focus Blast almost exclusively.

Update: worked like a charm! Caught him first try. However, ran out of Body Press moves and had to resort to Double Edge for last 2 attacks. Will use PP Up to increase Body Press.

Tried this method after trying this raid with Ground and Water types and still getting wiped out. This method worked for me in the first try. Mine was still a fairy type at that because I didn't have enough fighting tera shards. But everything else in your video I did and this worked for me. Shout Out to the raid people I was with for playing support, that helped me out. It also helped them out if they were trying for this pokemon as well.
It worked!!! I beat it and caught it on my first try!!! Thanks for the tips and help
Baxcalibur worked too. Only, Flamethrower had to be used to increase its attack. But I gave mine Water Tera and the moves Dragon Dance, Snowscape, Dragon Claw, and Aqua Tail.

I just tested this same build, except I used choice band instead of metronome. It did a hell of a lot of damage! I also had Bold Nature on mine
Really appreciate that you're using Paldea Pokemon instead of Home Pokemon.
Also a defense cheer would boost your body press and help you take a focus blast.

I have been using Dachsbun support for a long time with Charm and Snarl. Never thought to you Body Press. well played
The manaphy build helped me to beat typhlosion 15 times taking 5 minutes+- each time.
Manaphy ---
nature- modest
ev 252 sp def, 252 sp attack
item -shell bell
moveset- tail glow,rain dance,surf,fake tears
strategy:
tail glow 1×
rain dance 1×
tail glow 1×
fake tears 1×(after effect remove)
fake tears one more time.
then hit with 2 surf.

Haven't seen dachsbun make it on a 7* raid list so I'm super happy it gets a spot against this raid boss. And now I can use my shiny one a great amount of times.
I used Dachsbun for the Charizard all the way back then. Probably my favorite Fairy type Pokemon now.
Nobody expected Hisuian Typhlosion’s AI would heavily prioritize its Fire moves. Also people expected Solar Beam and Calm Mind.

this was one of the pokemon i had in mind, another was golem defense curl + rollout (rollout gets double damage when used defense curl only once)

Best strategy by far! I trained mine 252 defense and 252 special defense to resist the occasional focus blast and ghost move a little bit better and it works great!

Vaporeon I did it with first time. Hydration ability, shell bell, Surf, Rain Dance, Fake Tears, Calm Mind, maxed Sp.Att, HP and Sp.Def

I've tried the Dachsbun strat, however it felt like it was not dishing enough damage and getting killed by the other moves. I went with a Dondozo instead, with the hidden ability Water Veil and item Shell Bell. The turn after Typhlosion does Sunny Day just keep the rain up all fight and spam Liquidation.
I just realized Garganacle is going to be insanely strong too and can use tera boosted rock slide + salt cure / iron defense + body press against it
Garganacl is rather susceptible to Focus Blast, but more power to you if you can make it work.
So, to express my thoughts since I've been seeing different small suggestions or changes, or ppl saying this isn't working, don't overthink this fight and literally follow the guide. Don't try to be "smart" and use stat reducers, literally just Body Press three times, terastalize, then hold your controller in one hand or turbo controller your A button the rest of the fight. Because the AI keeps trying to use Will-O-Wisp to burn you, you have no issues until it hits the threshold where it uses attacks regardless, even then you're fine. When it doubles up, it'll always use one of its two attack slots to Will-O-Wisp to keep trying to burn you and then there's a one in three chance of which attack it uses. If your HP is maxed, Flamethrower gets eaten by your ability and you should survive even a crit from the other two (assuming Focus Blast even hits). Your bad RNG only comes in if Infernal Parade burns you, because that's a guarantee it's gonna repeat using that attack.
Trying to use stuff like Tail Whip or Snarl to lower defenses, or Shell Bell for healing, you're missing the point. You want to inflict as much in as little time as possible. Extraneous setups wastes time. The longer the fight takes, the sooner it gets to double attack slots and when that happens, if you can't win in like one or two attacks, you may as well bail. The AI is dumb when you're solo. It only takes your pokemon into account, the other three are fodder. The AI only looks at your type and never your ability and since Dachsbun isn't a Fire type, it'll keep trying to apply burn with Will-O-Wisp, which continuously fails due to the Well-Baked Body ability. This gives you an instant 2 stage defense boost, and after three turns, the power of Body Press is maxed minus Metronome. Also, Typhlosion tries to snag your tera orb charge at like turn 4 or 5 but if you follow the guide and terastalize after an immediate three Body Presses, it doesn't matter. It can't take your charge if you've already terastalized.
The same idea of don't get smart, stuff like Armorouge and Ceruledge don't work. Like I said, the AI looks at your type and since Fire types can't be burned by Fire attacks, it ignores even trying to Will-O-Wisp those two and immediately goes for the attacks. Again, since both are Fire types, it won't use Flamethrower as much if at all, Ceruledge is a Ghost type meaning it will just not use Focus Blast, meaning the AI will only really use Infernal Parade on the Fire/Ghost. Since Armorouge is Fire/Psychic, it'll likely also go for the super effective with Parade as well.
I saw a lot of these while doing raids with other people, but I also had a lot of success using a Poliwrath with Liquidation, Rain Dance, and Bulk Up/Amnesia. I had a bunch of competitive Pokémon on Shield that I transferred to Violet and that Poliwrath was among them. It isn’t weak to any of Typhlosion’s attacks, Rain Dance can cancel out the Sunny Day, and R.D. boosts the power of its Liquidations and weakens Typhlosion’s Flamethrowers. And after an Amnesia, Poliwrath was taking minimal damage. During my attempts, I mostly focused on setting up Rain Dance, using my Heal Up cheer when the squad got low, and getting my defenses up until the Dachsbun users could get a quick Tera so I could start trying to get mine.
"If Dachsbun is a weiner dog and is covered in buns(...)" that obviously makes it a hot dog. :P

Daschbun was my next try if my Walking Wake didn't work. It took me four tries, three with Wake to finally get it did not have good support players. I had my Wake maxed out on SpA and SpD with Dragon Pulse, Hydro Steam, Water Pulse, and Noble Roar with a Shell Bell and its ability Protosynthesis only further increased its maxed SpA. The Typholsion was spamming Sunny Day and Focus Blast on me, only got Wisped three times in my third try and not once in my fourth. I had to test it out first with my Ceruledge to see what it would use, got blown away with Infernal Parade every time with my Ceruledge. It couldn't burn me since I had Flash Fire and Heatran gets blown away with Focus Blast which it hit three times in a row on my Wake so it saw the loss with everything else. But I got it. I'm happy with Wake doing its job and quad resisting Fire moves.
The vitamins are probably the most important to get over the shards.

lol we did these yesterday. Also used flash fire Pokémon (heatran/ Ninetales/ chandelure) and quagsire/ clodsire/ kantonian muk/ tentacruel for acid spray in support of weenie dog.
