- Honda Owner's UNITE! We return for another EPIC Honda Day in Boise, Idaho with HondaPro Jason. With a BIGGER turnout than last year, this event had plenty of amazing Honda Builds! Let's do this thing!
Hosted by Larry H. Miller Honda and Coordinated by themyhondaguy, Honda Day Boise is back for ROUND 2! Jason joins the fun to check out the Idaho Honda Scene and enjoy a burger (or three).. From Budget Civic builds to S2000's, RSX's, NSX's, Accords, FK8's, FL5's, and more! We had an INSANE turnout (by Idaho standards) and the vibes were PERFECT! I enjoyed meeting all the local subscribers and brining my 1999 Civic Coupe and 2005 RSX Type S for people to see in person! it's always cool to see people's reactions.
Surpassingly enough, I was able to witness HondaPro Jason seeing the NEW 2024 Integra Type S for the first time! Jason gives his initial first impressions review, and I just complained that it didn't have a spoiler. I also give everyone an update on my old CRZ build! Now with suspension and wheels :) I did my best to get as much footage as possible, but SO many Honda's and such little time.

I absolutely enjoy these annual Honda updates every summer. As you already know I am a GM guy but I'll let you in on a little secret.. I actually wanted fifth generation Prelude at one time and loved the Civics along the way too. But.. ooof at 3:59 that poor car and those swirl marks.. That cannot be unseen!

I would love to have seen a first gen Acura Integra RS because i have a soft spot for the gen 1 integra's and it's one of my favorite honda/acura product from the late 80s in my opionon

I PDI the Type S n Added every single accessory you see, including the shift knob. Thing is definitely more aggressive and looks amazing. Under hood view is beautiful💯
Awesome video! Was so stoked I made it out there. My car looked thrashed but I literally just got it running (previous owner let it sit since 2019). I’ve already done a lot sense Honda fest and I can’t wait for next year! I had the clapped out red ej8 with 8,000 different panels 😂

This makes me wish I could knew why my EM1 isn't running well. Its been sitting in the garage for years now.
Hmmm start troubleshooting it!
@@ALLDAYANTHONY The plugs foul after a month or so, its having trouble starting. If I change the plugs, it works, plugs have always been somewhat an issue as the car runs pretty rich.
Car was modded over an decade ago, I never had any issues. But of the past few years, its reliability to keep running is. Its running on a old Hondata 2b, which most people on Honda forums have not even heard of. From what I know, I think we're currently on some Hondata s400 or something, before that, s300, s200, s100, then the 2B maybe. It has RC440 injectors. The car turns over fine, it cranks but no start. I can hear the fuel pump priming. I've heard it might be the pump, it might be the lines, it might be the injector, it might be the rail. I have new plug wires, and new, cap rotor. Car has been garaged for the last decade. Maybe has seen 5000 miles in the past 10 years.
I think I need to also change either the control arm's, as the front end is squeaking during compression. I know I need new shocks. I just havne't done it because I have changed them on a car that doesn't start, that I can't drive.
I got it running last year for about a month, drove it for 200 miles. Drove it for about a month 2 times a week. Then it didn't want to start again one day.
I was told it could be something as simple as the MAF sensor as well as it could be dirty and giving improper mix.
I'm not sure. Been looking for a shop in SE Houston, but nobody wants to touch a modified car.
I spend what little free time keeping my CBR600RR running which is stock and runs fine after 15 years.
That or playing Tears of the Kingdom which is the first time I've got back to playing something in the past few years.
I'd like to be able to figure it out, but I'll probably end up making worse. If I can't, maybe I can find someone who will take care of my car.
Its got 60k miles, 1999 EM1, garaged, maybe seen rain about 10-15 times in 23 years. Driven for 1 winter. The first year I owned it, it was my daily. Been a garage queen mostly after that. the 60k ish miles were from 99-13. Its seen 200 miles in the past 3 years.
Turbo is a Garrett T3T4, only runs low boost, 5 psi. gets around 200whp on a mustang dyno. Fun to drive. If I can get it running.

@@Save_the_Stick_Shifts I've thought about it, going back to NA on it, I still have the parts, though its was mostly reliable except for recently. I will say I didn't have any issues with the minor turbo for the first 15 years. It probably has nothing to do with the turbo, more likely something to do with fuel somewhere, or getting it retuned. But one place said if I were to get it retuned, I'd need newer software on something like a AEM EMS or a newer Hondata S.. whatever it is now, and new fuel injectors and suggestion this newer brand injectors. It was going to cost about $2000-$3000. I don't know. I barely have the time, and the funds though I have I don't know. I might put it towards a new motorcycle.
I might list it and see what I get for my EM1. Some locals said it would fetch fairly well because its basically a garage queen with lowish miles for its age. which is at 60kish. Finding a good owner for it would be nice.
I think detuning it and retuning it would be about the same cost. I think I lost my original ECU, I might have it laying around somewhere. Though most I've talked to said they would put in a custom one anyway so I guess it makes no difference.
