- The Budget Honda Civic Build gets pampered with a "not so budget friendly" piece of Carbon Fiber. The Password JDM Carbon Gurney Flap adds an aggressive look to the back end of the Civic!
Alright, so I know this mod DOESN’T align with the budget civic build but I HAD to have it. This spoiler extension adds a ton of pop to the rear of the civic and gives it an ass worth looking at. I had my eye on this piece for months and thought it would really compliment the Milano Red and the black accents on the civic.
In this video I install the gurney flap on the civic and give you some tips that I wish I would have done better. This Gurney flap will fit any EJ/EK Honda Civic with the EM1 style OEM spoiler. I recommend prepping the surface of the spoiler with polishing and doing an IPA alcohol wipe down to make sure the adhesive sticks as best as possible.
Password JDM makes a TON of awesome Carbon Fiber bits for most models of the Honda Civic as well as Acura’s. I don’t regret this purchase at all and I would do it again with any future Honda or Acura build in the future. I LOVE THIS THING.

Nice! I have one of these on my car. My advice is to get it clearcoated. The clearcoat that is on it will fade and crack within a few months. I had to get mine sanded and recleared. Besides that I love it!
They dont come clearcoated from factory, its just gel coat

Personally I would just get rid of the spoiler all together (that’s what I did with my civic) I just think it looks cleaner that being said your wheel choice is clean as Hek

I had one on my 9th gen and the stick tape failed on the carbon side after a couple 100+ degree summer days in a row. Keep an eye on it.

Theres no such thing as a "Si" spoiler... ALL 99-00 civic spoilers are the same.

@@Ricardo-oh7kg Nothing. I have been in talks with a coupe companies about getting a spoiler made that is a stock Si spoiler, with the ducktail coming off the back like the Integra TypeR spoiler.

Do you know if the EM1 wing and ITR wing have the same length and curves? I'm asking because I cannot find any more PWJDM gurney flaps for ITRs (they are all discontinued and sold out as of this writing) BUT I did find one for an EM1.
