  • Rob’s Would I Lie To You? co-star, Lee Mack, talks about the time he performed at Britain's smallest theatre, the problems that come with bringing members of the audience on stage, and what it’s like to be part of the BBC’s currently longest running sitcom, Not Going Out.
The old friends also chat about the first time they met over 20 years ago, and how Rob went from cancelling his second appearance on WILTY, to becoming the host for the last 12 years!

I had a weird summer… with Lee Mack as my nurse.
He was very kind and surprisingly fluent in Norwegian.
But I did try to tear his nuts off in the end.

I love Lee Mack. Back in the 90s/early 2000s, I thought he was so-so. But over the recent years he's just got better and better. I like 'Not going out', but I prefer his live, off the cuff appearances. Rob is right; Lee does have a remarkably quick mind. I really would like to see him do stand up live sometime in the near future.

    • @grantosgroover6556

Lee is so fucking cockney it hurts. Outstanding stand up act. Lee and the great Sean Lock. Timing wise I'd say Lee is the only person to come close to, if not as quick as, Frank Skinner. His Eric Morecambe influence is clear to see. There's comedians and there's special. Lee is spesh.
