I remember watching him give a speech and he initially announced we’d all be gone by May, and everyone looked at each other bc that date was in like 6 weeks, and we were nowhere near ready to move all that shit out
It ended up getting delayed, but even then the initial schedule was insanely short-notice, and I have no idea why he’d want a withdrawal so suddenly

Me and my dad (we’re black) were listening to the interview in the car and that line killed us.
My favorite part was his "how could it be cheaper to leave things there than take them" take. Dude has never done logistics in his life. Shit's expensive to move around, especially things as heavy as a tank. And then where do you put them if you take them back? Do you just let them rot in the desert? Then what's the difference between letting it rot in Afghanistan and rot in Nevada. What about the personnel to move the things? What about security for those personnel? Shit's expensive. It's like paying $100 delivery for a $1 coffee. Not a single person would argue that makes sense, but I'm sure some people saw Trump say that and goes "hell yeah! don't leave anything behind! what a dumbass military we have for doing that!"

I love the points he made about the cops telling him they didn’t wanna do what they were doing to him. It very clearly shows that, no matter the cop’s personal views or opinions, they will always carry out the will of the state. Here Trump experienced first hand what it looks like when the will of the state doesn’t coincide with your own, and saw how the cops will gladly go with it. And that is, in essence, what ACAB is about.
Sadly, conservatives don’t usually have the mental bandwidth to get to that point. They stop at “look, even the cops think I’m innocent!!”
