Love this series so far! It's brought back some memories of a pair of GTT's that I had in the early 2000's. Love these little cars, would love to have another! Subbed.

If you're rebuilding the engine ARP headbolts is a must. They love to go through head gaskets like they're going out of fashion.

Indeed I will be rebuilding the engine at some point. Thanks for the heads up. 👍👌

      That's just incorrect.

They only go through headgaskets because people used to up the boost without modifying the carb to support the extra fuel needed

Good job guys. Sound is really clear today. Have you thought of matching coveralls? With a logo of your own design of course.

Thanks! We took advice of no music when talking and pleased with the result. Definitely thinking about matching coveralls but hadn’t thought about the logo. 👍

Drop the engine from the bottom with the subframe and lift the car over. You’ll save a lot of time.

Thats actually the wrong way to remove the bonnet.. removing the bonnet for maintenance is a regular occurrence, so you pop out the E clips that hold the bonnet hinges. Then hold the bonnet firmly, jerk it sideways or put pressure on to one side, and the hinge will pop out the pin.. then gently slide off the other pin and lift away.. everyone does it this way.. 😎
It's ok as you're gonna paint it, but you'd be trying to line up the bonnet gaps if you do every time you work on it.
    And the studs snap..

Personal opinion, I think they look ok to be honest.
