The biggest issue for the middle class is WEALTH INEQUALITY. More and more the super rich are buying up the assets, driving up the cost of houses (and other assets) and now 20 and 30 somethings can't afford them. And older middle class people who have a house can't afford to move. We need to protect ourselves, we need to protect the middle class! We are already heading toward a two class nation rich vs poor. What does that look like? Think India, Nigeria, S Africa, etc.... The solution is to tax the super rich more and reduce taxes for the middle and lower income families. This is a bipartisan issue: draining the swamp", tariffs is helpful but does not treat the core issue. We need to make this information common knowledge and fight back on all levels of POLITICS. There are many RUclipsr economists talking about this, don't take my word for it. Start with "Gary's Economics" on RUclips.
Wealth Equality is an illusion and not possible. You may wanna rethink that phrase. The too 1% already pay more than 40% of all taxes. Is that equal??? Can’t have it both ways. Wanna save money then we need less taxation and better prices for goods. This too is on the way eventually if these folks do what they promised.
He is an idealist. Which is good to an extent. It's good to have a vision of what you want America to look like, but you also have to be realistic. The United States is not a perfect country, but it is better than most countries in the world.
