great video, thank you. I have not tiled anything yet, but this gives me ideas and i think I will make a paddle. I use VCarve and want to make wooden spoons for gifts, it would involve a flip but not tiling. Any chance you take that project on for us beginners?

Nice job but I have a couple of questions. As I understand, If the Longmill is set along a wall or in a corner of the shop, in other words, no space in the back of the cnc will it be possible to index?
Also i wonder if it is possible to do this with the cam features of Fusion or with kiri:moto?

Technically yes to some extent, since you can spin the part 180 degrees in the Z axis instead of moving it down linearly in the Y axis. In that way the material would stick out the front. That being said, you would be limited to 2X the Y-working area as the size of material you could cut, but I suspect that for most people that would be more than enough. I think there are ways to do it in either software, but it would take some careful designing and planning to do it manually, and I'm not sure if there is a specific wizard or tool for this method in Fusion or Kiri.

Need to use parameters and constraints. Change a shaft length parameter and everything else adjusts accordingly.

We'll have to check those out. We've definitely got lots to learn for Fusion still! Thanks for the tip.

@@SienciLabs I use fusion for design and generate toolpaths for my longmill. If I get time, I'll see if I can parameterize the posted project file.
