Hey guys! Be aware that the audio recorded using this capture card will be mono. To get stereo, you will need to directly connect your device to your PC using some connectors. We used this method on this video: ruclips.net/video/XNZm2JtX0M8/видео.html Also, if you are going to use OBS, you can ignore the Control Panel step and just change the "Audio monitoring" of your capture card in OBS to "Monitor Only" or "Monitor and Output." If you need Desktop Audio, I recommend using "Monitor Only." If you have Desktop Audio muted, use "Monitor and Output." Using "Monitor and Output" with the Desktop Audio unmuted might cause echoes.
I was having so much trouble with this capture card until this video. Thank you for walking through how to set it up so it worked properly. Your incredible!
I bought this capture card and it works well enough. Playing fast action games(Bayonetta, No More Heroes) shows screen tearing if streaming it in 1080p because it can only output 30fps and most of those games output at 60fps. I still haven't tried streaming it in 720p 60fps. The pass through from device to laptop/pc works well enough but, as TwinBin mentioned, the latency is high enough for me that I don't play the game on the preview screen of obs. Nice review sir.
Thank you so much for showing that control panel part, I've had my capture card for a few months and never used it due to audio problems, now it works great. thank you so much
Thank you! Oh, BTW, that's not the only solution. Doing that will cause the audio to output through the desktop audio. If you don't want that, you can go to OBS and go to advanced audio properties. Then set the video capture device to "Monitor and Output." If you haven't, please subscribe! That would mean a lot to us.
Amazing content and I love the organized sections! Direct to the point as well! Thank you for this. Now, I'm confident to buy this capture card because I've finally found an objective review on it, w/ the samples for comparison as well! 😁

Hi! Saw your comment from lazada now I'm here! If I plug the capture card on my ps4 would it get the audio coming from my headset (plugged in to the dualshock) to the OBS?
@@alexyt_789 Hello! I tested it and if you plug in a headset on the controller, OBS will get no audio. After researching, I found out that this is a common problem for capture cards, even the Elgato. The solution proposed by Elgato is to use their "Elgato Chat Link" but that's expensive (They have a video explaining this problem. Search for "How to record ps4 audio when using headsets"). There are alternatives for the Elgato chat link where you will need multiple splitters. Just look around the web. One solution that I can think of is to connect your headset to your PC (but you will be limited by the cable length). However, if you need voice chat in-game, you can buy an external mic for your ps4. Also, I think some USB sound cards are also compatible with the ps4. With that, you can just buy a cheap 3.5mm mic.

Hello. I have a question. Because at the start of the video it said that this capture card can only record in 60fps up to 720p, what video editing software would you recommand to edit the video to go up to 1080p 60fps ?
5:18 you say you can use the passthrough to solve the problem of the slight delay, what do you mean by that? I just really want to get rid of slight lag while playing my games. Thanks!
Using the built in passthrough feature will allow you to plug an HDMI cable from the capture device into a monitor or television as an output option. The slight lag comes from your video being recorded and played on the same machine, at the same time. If you output the video to either a monitor or television however, you will not get that lag as it is the same as directly plugging your source into the monitor or television.
I have this same capture card I’ve used it for about 2 months now and after using it the capture card freezes and I have to disconnect and reconnect it restart my pc and sometimes it doesn’t even display anything I’ve literally tried everything

Bro, just a quick question. Can I use this capture card to connect my laptop to my other pc? I'm planning to stream PS1 games using an emulator on my old laptop then use my desktop pc to stream. Thanks in advance, bro. Btw, nice review! 😊
Yes, in OBS. When adding a video capture source, make sure to set the resolution to 1080p. You will be limited to 30fps though. If you haven't subscribed yet, please do. It will help us make better videos in the future! Thank you!
I actually have another way to get the audio to work, but it's hard to explain it through text. I'm considering making a follow-up video on that. Have you fixed the issue yet?
Thanks for the vid it’s helped me out, I ran into a problem tho. Whenever I put the output hdmi in that goes to my tv, the computer picks up random static noises, but when I take it out it uses the right audio. If you have any thoughts on this lmk I’m tryin my best here lmao
I remember having a similar issue with my PS3, in the xmb its fine but when I launch the game the audio is only static in OBS no matter what game I choose. For a week I tried to solve the issue and was already considering quitting. I found out that I need to disable the dolby surround 5.1 on PS3 and boom all is well. Who would have thought that it was the case. I have sample videos on my personal channel and you’ll see that the audio is not bad after all.
This is probably a stupid question, but i didn't find the answer anywhere. Do i need my PC to have high configurations to record something with OBS and this capture card? I'm having trouble recording everything in 1080p 30fps
Make sure to use low settings at first then gradually increase the settings if you think your computer can still handle it. We tested this on a fairly low end build (i5-6600, 8gb ram, rx 570 4gb) and it was able to record at 1080p 30fps. Just make sure that you don't have much processes running while recording.
K so with the passthrough, if i connect one HDMI cable to the TV and capture card and the other to console and capture card, how do I record? Should i plug an HDMI into the computer?
Your passthrough monitor is connected to the output hdmi of the capture card. Your console is connected to the input hdmi of the capture card. Your computer that will be recording is connected to the USB port of the capture card.
Hi, I hope youll still see this comment. My audio wont show up on the obs mixer. basically saying that it has no sound. Ive already did the "listen to this device" method and still nothing. I have bought 2 of these devices and still the same result. Any idea or advice on what is going on?
Please answer bro I have a couple questions, so I want a capture card only to record my PS4 gameplay and keep clips in my computer, but I will keep playing on my monitor, will their be any lag/latency on my monitor? I won’t care if the latency is only on the laptop. Another question, you mentioned something about pass through, what is that? And does the capture card record game and party audio? lastly, is there a specific software I could use like OBS for example to record my gameplay/ save my clips, thanks 😁
The passthrough is where you connect a monitor to play without latency. No it does not record party chat like other capture cards. Check out our channel to see how to record party chat. The best program to use for recording (for me) is OBS.
I've talked to someone that made it work for her iphone, so I bet it will also work for an ipad. I don't have an ipad so sadly, I can't test it my self. Just make sure you buy the right cables and adapters 😊 If you haven't subscribed yet, please do! It will really be a great help for us 💗

Any video editing software that lets you blend frames :)

What are you trying to record? Are there any other audio devices connected?
I remember having a similar issue with my PS3, in the xmb its fine but when I launch the game the audio is only static in OBS no matter what game I choose. For a week I tried to solve the issue and was already considering quitting. I found out that I need to disable the dolby surround 5.1 on PS3 and boom all is well. Who would have thought that it was the case. I have sample videos on my personal channel and you’ll see that the audio is not bad after all.
@@chican_0 Thanks for sharing! We'll suggest this to people that have similar problems.
Hey bro what program you use for recording with the capture card the game. Mario Party I need know this program , is obs or other ?
OBS sir
Thanks sir for sharing
It helps a lot
This is probably a stupid question, but i didn't find the answer anywhere. Do i need my PC to have high configurations to record something with OBS and this capture card? I'm having trouble recording everything in 1080p 30fps
Make sure to use low settings at first then gradually increase the settings if you think your computer can still handle it. We tested this on a fairly low end build (i5-6600, 8gb ram, rx 570 4gb) and it was able to record at 1080p 30fps. Just make sure that you don't have much processes running while recording.
Hey, thanks for the video. Do you have any idea what to do when the the output is just a test screen?
Maybe your hdmi cable is not properly connected or maybe its loose
Wait, with the loop out means that there should be no latency on the second screen right? The latency is only on the recording software are the pc.
Exactly!
Are you able to see your console's screen on your computer and TV? Or will I need an HDMI splitter?
U saved my search. tks!
You got me here! but im concerned if this works with a macbook?
You will use the macbook to record? Or you will record the macbook screen?
Thanky so much before i didnt under stand how to us it now thanks to you i do
Thank you so very helpful
I need to have more subs with this great quality subs
I just need to use the Camera app on my laptop to record ?
The camera app is just for testing. You can use OBS to record :)
Hi! Very helpful video thanks! Does it work for the ipad? Im having a hard time trying to make it work ^^"
I've talked to someone that made it work for her iphone, so I bet it will also work for an ipad. I don't have an ipad so sadly, I can't test it my self. Just make sure you buy the right cables and adapters 😊
