I've got a NG+ character I'll be using for the DLC. Can't wait for Friday, although I think I'll need some time in the base game first to get my eye in again. I haven't played it for over a year.
It's like riding a bike. You may fall down a few times after coming back from hiatus, but you'll get the hang of it after a short while!

It feels weird coming back to the game again, when I beat all the dark souls dlc it was long after they released so I beat the main games then the dlc straight after, this is the first time I beat the game a long time ago and played other games in the wait for the dlc, so it feels weird coming back to my same character again after leaving it for so long

I kept my end of first playthrough save as I did pretty much everything in the game. I'm jumping into DLC with the Rivers of blood Katana along with the relevant talismans. I cannot wait for this DLC. Going to be epic, Tiche is coming with me into the realm of shadows.
Rolling into the DLC with a Great Envoy Horn bubble blaster build. So excited! The next couple days are going to be excruciating lol 😂
Make sure to level faith and int to 12/12 some of the new weapons will have those as a requirement
I left my first character 2 years ago and wasn’t sure where I was. Apparently I had killed the Elden Beast on NG+3 and then turned it off. So all I really had to do was run up the stairs and kill Mogh, which was surprisingly easy. Oh yeah, my character was OP.
I've done most of my preparations with my main character in NG+7, I've levelled up every stat at 99 after hours of grueling farm, I've collected every spell as well as every weapon in the game twice so I can dual wield all of them (except shields, magic focuses and ranged weapons), I've got every armor in the game including the normal and altered version (beside one, I'm missing a second drake set so I can alter the helmet and torso, I'm not on Farum Azula yet because I don't want to kill the fire Giant until I've done the DLC so I don't piss off Melina by using the flame of frenzy in case she has dialogue in the DLc, so I can't get the missing Drake set yet).
All I'm really missing is some of the bells so I can buy unlimited crafting components for the new weapons and spirits. I'm trying to kill the strongest bell bearing hunter but in NG+7 the guy is insane, he literally one-shot me even with 99 vigor. Possibly the strongest enemy in the entire game.

You are better at elden ring than you think, and your build is solid. You came back and beat who in my opinion is the second hardest boss in the game with no problem. 🤘🏻
Playing the dlc is Ng+ will be tough thats the problem I had but I made a new character, if you ever wanted to make a new character I could give you hero runes aswell as tailsmans and whatever items you'd need. I have enough to instantly get you from lvl 1 to 150 , I have enough hero runes to get a character to lvl like 450 but lvl 150 seems to be the meta. I heard there's gonna be a boss even harder then Melania so Ng+ will be scary 😂

I don't understand how people are able to beat this game without using any summons. I tried to "get good" but some feel impossible. Anyways, FIVE DAYS TO GO FAM!

I need help…. Do you have any tips for Fire Giant on NG+???
Knight rider glaive or anything with slash damage and spinning strikes aow. Wild damage with all the right talismans. Or do the same thing you did for ng but better. Lol
Envoys longhorn is the absolute best weapon against any big boss, trust me I've done over 10 playthroughs. Use golden vow and the holy shrouding cracked tear and shard of Alexander talisman.
@@marzzattakWell what I did for NG wouldn’t work cause they patched out the glitch.
Please for the love of God, put your lantern as one of your pouch items. It is so much easier that way. I have torrent, cerulean flask and my lantern as my pouch items.
My level already up to 435, but still not strong enough to fight !

After waiting so long for Elden Ring to release in the first place, it's so weird to say things like "I haven't played it for so long" and to have a sort of nostalgia for it. Part of my brain will forever think of Elden Ring as something that will happen in the future.
I think you've copied the trigger warning from life is strange...unless Elden Ring has changed a lot since I last played
