This made me sad. The reason that I was in love with this bike is that it combines futures and the past in a beautiful way. But new look is just a different version of triumph trident. Which is definitely not what I want to expect from XSR... Again, this made me sad... It seems like crushed pepsi can...
Best bike i ever owned, but had to sell due to the hand numbing vibration that couldnt b solved. And to a lesser degree the instability @ high speeds, which could b from a windshield/crosswinds i suppose. Not an issue for everyone i know... sadly it was for me.
For those complaining about the seat, it's meant to have the look of the plastic piece behind the rider, covering the pillion, from the 80's. Someone will develop a different seat.
The seat looks like a squeezed spot ready to pop! I can't take my eyes off it. Why not bring out a bike with options to it? different seat, front fairing types, belly pan, 350lc colour schemes. rear sets.
its a classic you can spend money and do whatever you want there are customisers who literally did gorgeous projects on old xsr 900 just wait for a few months till it hit the roads im sure some guy will do a project on it
It would cost much more and if you want to order a bike from factory from Japan, this would add another couple of months of wait. Doesn't really make a lot of sense for Japanese brands.
This was such a fantastic AD I gotta say. You guys got me with it. Now a proud owner of this exact bike & it rocks!!

I put in a preorder at my local dealer. It better look just like it does right now. I think they nailed the look of this bike. It's beautiful.

@JuicyDizzy same frame, but the subframe is different. Regardless, it looks like an easy fix. Just gotta hope someone actually makes a better seat.

Glad Yamaha was able to hide the electronics better, rather than have 2 boxes bolted either side to the frame. This version looks so much cleaner.
