People rather spend under 500 for a very good phone vs over 1000 for a newer phone and doesn't do nothing special

LG V60, one of the most updated LG phones I've ever had... I have the latest september 2022 security patch and will wait for Android 13. I mean, for a phone from back 2020 and whose producer left the mobile sector, it is amazing and strange in the same time. Really hope LG has something on their sleeve. 😁

Yeah, I called them and spoke to a young lady. A laid it on thick. I said LG was just turning the corner. You left b4 the magic. I told her in a calm kinda joker thing, and explained, I'll never buy LG washing machines, tvs refrigerators etc. She was clearly sympathetic. I'm sure they are getting hit with LG fans girls and boys. I still have 3 v20s I use for streaming Qobuz nothing like the LG audio NOTHIN! Now I'll be stuck with pixel Samsung, blah blah blah. Mine is still going. I drive for a living and being able to run gps, play music and answer text messages with voice without missing a beat is priceless. It's hard for me to even look at another phone. Using it with one screen now feels pedestrian.

Daily driver since it released! I use it for work and pesonal use everyday. I beat this phone up every day and it is still a champ! From functionality and reliability it blows all the rest out of the water. Dual screen gets its use here and there... Just great to have the flexibility. You can probably get it for a steal right now... I may buy a backup...

About the adapter EBX64329001 mine was not always contacting properly so i magnified it and found tiny pieces of possibly steel wool fibers that came from a tiny strong magnet that came from a tool ! So i cleaned it with a toothpick and cotton swab and tape ! I got the fibers out of the deep holes and then the tape was best at removing the fibers from the outside surfaces ! I hope this saves someone from total desperation and from throwing it away and the expense of a new one !!

The green screen issue is when the USB C port connection is faulty. Some solutions are, reseating the phone into the dual screen apparatus, cleaning the phones USBC port. I bought a new display and it was fine for awhile until the USBC port on the phone seemed to take on dirt.

Plus dual screen lights up in pull down menu now. WOW I just about broke it. It was the charging port on the dual screen. Not the phone. Phone is charged 100%. Anyways thanks for you r help. I love LG I got several all V series.

I love LG phones though I only got LG G5, despite being underrated still I love the features and knowing the fact that LG mobile is the first to have the usb type c port, first to have double-tap screen wake, first to have dual cam wide angle, and first to have the power button finger print scanner..
LG is obviously advance compared to other mobile company

Hi do you know what actually powers the 2nd (case) screen? I bought the case on ebay and there's no floating power on/off icon appearing on the phone screen. Case screen completely black and won't activate no matter what I do. I thought maybe you have to charge the case itself or is the phone powering the 2nd screen? I've found no info on this so if you know something you'll instantly be elevated to rock star status in my book. Thx.
When you connect your device to the case there is a toggle that appears on your display to turn on the second display. You should see it as soon as you put the screen on. Now if you don't question is the device rooted ??? Did you unlock the bootloader??? Does it has the stock ROM on it??? There are a bunch of questions to be asked but these are a few
My lg dual screen wont turn on but if I close it, it still shows the time and notifications and idk why.
How many lg phones have this kind of stylus support? I'm not sure if the Velvet supports any styluses like this.

I love the idea of the case, but the front glass looks super fragile. What I ended up doing was order a super cheap broken one with cracked front glass, and a 3d printed glass replacement. Now it should work perfect!

Hey seeking your opinion and would love your thought on the following. I've purchased two bamboo pens of this making model which have now both failed on me to some extent. First one connects but is very intermittent and the interaction is not fluid. I've done all the typical troubleshooting checking batteries using good known styluses ensuring battery cover integrity etc. I use these same steps on the second exact copy I bought which has been found until the B button has been giving me issues either actuating without me wanting it or recently not being able to be actuated at all making resetting to the Wacom protocol sometimes impossible rendering that unit useless for long stretches of time. Anybody have these experiences?

It could definitely be user error, and I'm willing to even get a third one, but I'm definitely at sending at least the second one back to warranty because I'm about $100 in after this. Do you recommend any other solid alternatives that have worked for you?

@@TheTechPreacher I've upgraded to Android 13 I'm going to actively use the dual screen again to see if this makes a difference perhaps there was some esoteric issue that the update perhaps clears and maybe it's software or firmware related?

I bought an unlocked T-Mobile V60 and it upgraded to android 12 and the latest September patch. The AT&T V60 I have won't upgrade to 12 or receive any patches so far. It's on Android 11 witch is fine with me. Everything works great.

Turn off 5G for battery. Unload a lot of apps and crap in internal storage that you don t need. There are other settings you can turnb off too

There is a button that will appear on your screen when you tap on it show a menu to turn on the dual screen

I got a few of them from Amazon and they are good just look at the details about the phone before you buy
My LG V60 which I bought in Canada, where I live, came complete with not only this case included, but I had a two full year warranty provided by LG (which sux now because I have to replace my charging port...grumble), and a pair of LG Tone wireless earbuds. My only complaint regarding my LGV60 is the fact that I cannot read a Kindle style book like a book, with one page on each screen. One thing, these cases are not made of tempered glass, they're made of regular glass, and will break like any non-gorilla glass phone. The phone, you're correct, the case will take the hit, the phone (with maybe the exception of the charging port, a weak point on the LG V series) would come out protected. But that charge port, if it took a shock, you'd better be prepared to unglue the back of this phone, because you're going to likely need to replace said charging port. Fortunately; that repair is actually fairly straightforward. This phone is still pretty much ahead of the pack two years later, with that long life battery, high res screen, 4K ability with the camera, etc. And, while I don't have the LG Pen, I have a cheapie Amazon pen, and while it might not pull up that nice pen screen, it works on this phone just fine. I really enjoy your reviews, and Wolfgang is right, you really do have a love affair with the V60. Truth be told, despite the charging port being a pisser, I love mine too, and will mourn it's loss next year when support ends for it.
