I’m so happy to have found your videos. I’m 5 months PP and was so stressed with my 11 month old when my baby was born - just trying to juggle so much that I just switched to formula. Now this far out I’m feeling better and also regretful for stopping breast feeding. I just bought a new pump and some supplements and I’m gonna start pumping tomorrow. I’m really hopeful that I can get my milk back

*update* I tried really hard for two weeks….pumped every two hours… only ever got drops. My baby started to comfort nurse, which gave me some general happiness and the closeness I was missing. I went to the doctors to see about getting that prescription medication to help induce lactation that I had heard of.- but my doctor says they don’t even prescribe that anymore because the risk of death is so high.. 😳😳 it has very serious side effects. Extreme depression and suicidal thoughts along side of heart attack, stroke, and “ sudden death” 😳 so I chose just to comfort nurse as long as he wanted and continued with the formula. It was hard for me and I’m sure that my next baby, I will definitely do more and feel more prepared for what’s in store to breast feed and try harder but for now I’ve accepted that I tried.

Your video is really really helpful. Can you please let me know the dosage of Domperidone prescribed to you. I am doubtful if they would allow it in my country. I live in Germany. I am planning to meet my doctor soon and would love to know the information regarding the dosage (I mean how many milligram was the tablet and how many times a day). Thank s a million once again !!!

Did they ask you to see a lactation consultant prior to prescribing domperidone? How long were you pumping before they prescribed it to you? Wondering what I can expect as far as the relactation process goes.

I stopped breastfeeding my baby at 1 month after giving birth and went straight to formula, my baby was doing good till 5 months but then he started getting fussy with the milk formula I’m giving him. My friend suggested re lactation but I’m having troubles as there’s no drops of milk at all after days of pumping. Unfortunately domperidone isn’t available here in Hong Kong, will the tea and supplements alone work?

pump pump and PUMP some more! then once you see droplets add in the teas and pills, if you find your suplie is less on fenugreek switch out to morgania

Thanks for the tips. My baby is 3 month old. She never successfully breastfed and is on formula since birth. I used to pump once or twice daily and used to make 30ml milk at Max. Now I feel guilty that I never knew the importance of frequent pumping if you are a exclusive pumper. Even now if I pump I get drops or around 5 ml milk at once but not sure if i can give my daughter breastmilk again and reduce the amount of formula milk she is taking. Can you suggest any pumping schedule that I can follow so that I can pump bottle full of milk and give it to my daughter?

      Hi
This most common problem most of us face.
      My baby had same problem.
      This video really helpful.
      I pump 9 times a day minimum- for 30min.
Start pumping from 4am, 6.30am, like wise till end of the day. ( with 2hrs to 2hr 30min time interval).
Follow these tips will. Be more helpful and eat every two hours something juicy.

    • @Disapointedmellencol

Would you recommend any pump for relactation ? I m planning to buy pump in style advance because I hv heard wearable pumps are not strong enough !! What would you suggest? I am watching your video from day 1 of my lactation journey from 0 drop I went to 20 ml in day 10 .Thank you so much

So happy you found this helpful! I’ve heard the same about wearable pumps not being strong enough but if it’s something more convenient for your lifestyle I’d def say it’s great you’re still pumping regardless!! I do love the pump in style because the suction was great it pulled out all the milk! I was looking into the spectra as well unfortunately it wasn’t available in Canada but if you can get your hands on that too I heard it’s another wonderful pump! Best of luck mama!!🥰
