In this sewing video, I am sharing with you my latest dressmaking project. I made 3 long sleeve t-shirts from my list of 10! I really like the different styles on these and wanted to share with you my thoughts and makes. I made the Frankie by Tilly and the Buttons, Plantain by Deer and Doe and the Mandy Boat T by Tessuti.

I find a lot of necklines too low for me, I'm going to try raising the neckline as you suggest as you make it look easy! I love your makes!

You have picked my 3 go to tees! I have made 5 Mandys and 4 Plantains and 6 Frankies! I love all 3! The Mandy you have made in that gorgeous fabric is reall beautiful and suits you so well! We all love a freebie don’t we, especially when they are so good! For your jersey scraps - try Ellie and Mac Autumn Spice and Sew Scrappy top patterns - they are brilliant for using up jersey pieces and currently on sale 😁👍

Hi Jayne , I love love love your vlogs, I feel like you are really speaking to me, I think we are on the same stage of our sewing journey. Like you (same age) I don't like a low neck line and I'm always cold. You may like the Egret top/dress from Sewing Revival I think they are from NZ. The new dolman sleeve top is the easiest top ever and looks great, something a bit different. Love Mandy Boat Tee also.

Hi Jayne, I hope you don’t think I’m being cheeky but as you seem to have mastered pattern Alterations I would like to ask your advise. I love the Rapsody blouse but struggling with the V part. Do you think it would be feasible to make some kind of keyhole shape instead?

Lovely tops jayne, I've made the mandy but i'm not keen on how the back hangs on me, I think I might do a back adjustment next as I do love the pattern, the frankie ive made a few times, I have concluded that I don't like the way it shapes the waist, I think I would try and straighten it out next time. You look fab as always xx
Love the two color tees, you should run out of fabric more often 🤣. Have you ever thought about using two floral prints together?

Hi. I’m having trouble with the Frankie tee as well. I am still a bit confused. How did you deal with the shaping on the front neckline.
If you pin the raglan sleeves to the front and back pieces lining up the raglan edges it should be fine. The ends may hang over slightly because of the angles but that’s ok x
