Well if you do the thinks that fans want is because you want his money. Everything is money.
I'd have to disagree, there were other video game companies that did a far superior job compared to blizz. I *do* think that they were trying to legitimately make people happy. They failed far too often from my observations. I couldn't stand the loot system in WoW or even the level system they had. None of it made sense to me at all. Most rpg game companies have algorithms built into the system to make sure the players aren't left missing out on necessities. There were so many times where some piece of equipment just wasn't there for specific people in my guild to progress properly. I swear it didn't matter how many times we ran a dungeon, it would not get into the person's hands. Then they were forced to play on an alt character because they couldn't contribute. We were trying to get a best in slot for a mage in our guild so he could help us in Ulduar. The thing finally dropped on the 15th attempt which was 3 weeks before Blizz decided to change magic spell damage to scale with intelligence. Insult to injury!
There were a staggering number of people in the game that simply didn't know what spells and abilities to use to make their role easier in given situations. They often put players against NPCs that were easily steam rolled but then failed to explain how to defeat tougher ones. For example, when Wrath came out, most deathknight players thought they could tank dungeons with the starting gear they had. Death knight characters were given really *AWESOME* gear when they started. Blizz never bothered explaining how to properly tank bosses and why those NPCs are scaled way differently. Common sense was also cherry picked to death. Zebras don't have hoofs and lions don't have fangs...okay Blizz, sure. My character gets impaled by a spear and doesn't die, but if he stands in fire he dies quickly except holy flame which "somehow" heals him smh.

Capitalism puts the control of the means of production in private hands. Individuals, companies, and corporations only make money when they provide goods or services that consumers assign value to (that they need or want).
It is true that capitalism works best when the consumers think critically about what they want and need (in the short and long term) and make good decisions about who and what to spend their money on.
Profiteering occurs when producers make decisions based on their own short term benefit, with no attempt to provide benefit to consumers, but it can only happen when consumers make bad decisions to allow it.
My favorite example right now, is this:
I have decided, as a consumer, that I will try even harder than ever to avoid spending any money with any company that is benefiting from slave labor through imprisoned Uighurs in China. Doing so us not in my own long term interest.

The company Vivendi is a subsidiary of NBC Universal which merged with Comcast Corporation in 2009 and created alot of controversy .Then in 2013, Activision Blizzard partnered with Tencent to buy 5% of the company, Vivendi shares steadily declined. That's the reason why the Crash & Spyro Games were published by Universal Interactive!

Tbh I would love you to do a video on the state of blizzard games like world of warcraft or hearthstone. Espically wow. After watching you review and tear apart so many stories I'd love for you to the same for Shadowlands.
I just want to talk about my Blizzard experience as a developer.
I am a mod developer on the SC2 Arcade, managing a popular mod that is in top 10 played named PARASITE - ZETA. I have been managing this game for about 2 years and have had many problems with trolls, free new accounts spamming report system, etc. Their entire report system is automated and the customer support reps are robots. I have been chat banned by mass reporting brand new accounts 7 times. That is right, 7 times. I, as a content creator have fallen victim to this awful system. I cannot even play my own game on my own account because I am banned for a few more months. I have to play on my own alternative account. Attempting to appeal to Blizzards auto report system is useless as they consider brand new made accounts that are unverified as "real" accounts even though my main account had been in SC2 since 2011.
As of right now, the community is plagued by trolls, free accounts, and extremely toxic individuals and Blizzard is following apart.
Blizzard should be condemned for what they have become and its horrible to see what became of one of my favorite developers.

You bringing up the NFL protesting the National Anthem reminded me of how my dad thought of it at the time; he mostly saw and interpreted everything to it's most simple, core observations. (I think lots of people do, actually, which is why sarcasm or insinuations don't always work because they can't read between the lines or interpret the meaning. At least, not the intended one.) When I saw it play on the news, I heard him say something along the lines of, "they're all so rich already, what do they have to protest about?" His sentence basically threw out all the difficult topics and discussions it was probably meant to bring up, none of that complicated shit, and I couldn't help but laugh for a good bit while the TV kept playing.
