@@BGtubecom And made it a game that didn't know what it wanted to be with shitty writing and worse atmosphere. Bethesda doesn't know what Fallout is about so they decided to make a clone of TES 4: Oblivion and put it into the Fallout world, just because the gameplay systems fit TES formula.
Sly Cooper has been lost to the sands of time. Literally. He's in ancient egypt, in the secret ending of Sly Cooper Thieves in Time(I refuse to call it Sly 4). For the past 9 to 10 years.
As much as I'd like to see another Sly game, in my opinion Thieves in Time wasn't that great. It would be great if the series got a different story after 3. It could still involve time travel but have it be its own thing instead of revolving the whole game around it. Like having the time machine finished by the end of 4 which might lead to a different game or just a cool gadget to have to replay the story.
@@MGSTube78 My idea for the game would take place during the escape on Dr. M's island, in Sly and Carmelita's perspective. They await a boat from the mercenaries. In the meantime, Sly leaves behind his cane, handbag, and calling card behind. I would argue that Carmelita and Sly were more or less agreeing to work together, when he "lost his memory.' At least that's how I saw it. Again, how would Sly leave his personal possessions, with millions of gold loot, from his ancestors, without her noticing. Actually, what about an opening, much like the first three games, where instead of stealing an item Sly would stop criminals from doing so. Then, bam! Now Carmelita, who used her shock pistol on you, is now shooting at the criminals while Sly cuts them off. Then... Opening of the dance, with the events of the past up to now. Then Sly decided to pay Bentley a visit, for old times sake, only to see a ransacked home. Where both he and Penelope are missing. What will Sly and Carmelita do? Would it be a good idea to hunt down Bentley, under the guise of catching the brains of the Cooper gang? Evil laughing sound of a possible Clockwork backup robo chip, accidentally built by Sly's mechanical ancestor. Who did not know about the rage chip. Bam! Murray wants to help. Dimitri is painting and grooving. Cars are actually great to use the controller, without the motion thing. Um... That's all I got, really. It's not the best. It's the only way to get around the amnesia and time travel plotline. How about Sly's secret ending is seeing his father, one last time. Bentley did create the time machine, but it really shows a projection of the past, rather than traveling. Sly, and the audience, look at his father for the first time. Silence... He touches the screen. Oh, and the fifth game involves Mugshot ruling the universe because he used super steroids, and won all the olympics. Causing anger to Brazil, after 7-1. Oh, and Bentley is a computer robotic turtle in a badass wheel chair. Carmelita tells Sly she's pregnant, after their recent exhibition. Then it ends with Dimitri reviving Disco from it's eternal banishment of trending through the ages. French people rejoice as they speak english through the grooving music, bro. And the sixth game involves order 66, declared by EA...
I know I'm late as hell to this party, but I love the mention of Custom Robo! It's still one of my favorite games and I wish more people knew about it. However, there actually was another Custom Robo game released on the DS called Custom Robo Arena, and it was actually pretty good for a DS game!

If anyone's looking for a new F.E.A.R game, look at Trepang2 on steam. They have a demo out, and I can solidly say its better then all the fear games combined. Made by a small dev team with no release date yet, but a new version of the demo is supposedly coming out soon.
@@MILDMONSTER1234 Alma was interesting there's no need to call her disappointing she had a purpose and served it well also, Paranormal events aren't what F.E.A.R. kinda is cause Alma let's be honest a lot of the things she does is more supernatural than paranormal as she was an experiment and paranormal is what science can't explain. Even if it was different paranormal events each game there weren't many things they could do as paranormal is based on things science can't explain like Aliens, ghost, bigfoot, and the love ness monster all these things were exhausted to death with things like Prey, Fatal Frame, Silent Hill (which is somewhat both paranormal and supernatural), Ghosthunter, movies like 13 Ghost, the grudge, the ring, exorcist, etc, the early and mid-2000s were the years of all the ghost and alien games so not much they could really try out with so many other titles.

Technically there is a Bioshock book that is a prequel to the first game. Went deep into detail on how Rapture was built and it's downfall. They could make a game based around the book
Max Payne might have stopped but its effect and legacy lives on in many games. Especially within Remedy's IPs. You can't play Quantum Break or Control and not see the influence, plus the implementation of bullet time in other games. At least that's my way of coping :P
@Sam Houser For me, MP3 is the only one I'll probaby never replay - it was a shoot-em-up and a chore to complete, compared to the story driven, comics-inspired and very atmospheric predecessors. It's a great shooter but nothing much beyond that.

Custom robo was such a fun game. It's surprisingly not as popular as I'd imagined as none of my gaming friends have even heard of it. I'd pay for a remaster or a sequel in a heartbeat .😮💨
I’m with you on Metroid. That’s why I was taken back and shocked at the Metroid Dread announcement at E3. Did not see Nintendo reviving 2D Metroid on their main console, but I’m so excited for the release in October. Metroid fans have been waiting forever for this!
Got it preordered. Super metroid was the first game that I stayed up all night and played as a kid. I couldn't believe the graphics and sound back then it was amazing. Hoping to see a remake like zero mission
I mean they did come out with Samus Returns a few years ago which to Metroid II was what Zero Mission was to the original Metroid. I admit Nintendo is infamous with taking very long gaps between game releases and they did screw up with Other M and Fed Force (I didn't mind it as a spin off but I'd rather have a proper metroid game over it) but I don't think it ever really died, just hibernated like some franchises do
It's funny how Yoshio Sakamoto said he didn't plan for a 2D Metroid on the Switch after the success of Metroid: Samus Returns. But look at us now. Maybe he was fucking with us.

One of EA’s biggest missed opportunities is that they had both the Star Wars license and BioWare’s ownership at the same time. How did they not make a KOTOR 3?!
Due to the fact EA just stopped making kick ass games in its place was milking games with no effort into making it good. Lets not forget that EA did some good stuff a long time ago.
Finally some acknowledgment for Republic Commando, that game isn’t just one of the best Star Wars games of all time but one of the best shooters like it’s just so fun to control your squad and not just have them follow you or just be meat shields
I really wanted a GEX Remake Trilogy after the release of Crash N.Sane Trilogy but guess what those dumbasses at Crystal Dynamics did, discount superhero Destiny
Man, I found a DS copy and got so hyped to play it, but it was bugged/ broken and it crashed after a specific point in the game. I was heartbroken and it hurts me still
That’s because Itoi said that the series concluded with the third instalment, and evidently so, based on the ending. It does kinda suck that the Mother series ended, but it’s better to go out with dignity, as opposed to beating the dead horse of a franchise long after it died.
@@PkmariO64 I just wish they'd localize Mother 3 and slap a T rating on it so they don't censor anything, but this is nintendo we're talking about, we'll either get a censored version of it or we won't get it at all.
The franchise I still mourn is Golden Sun, I fell in love with them almost instantly, with the beautiful art style, the killer soundtrack by Motoi Sakuraba, a really creative magic system and a simple yet very compelling story, in fact, it was my first JRPG, it made me want to try others too and is still my favorite JRPG of all time, and while I still personally enjoy the third entry, I also understand why it didn’t do well and failed to revive the franchise, and I doubt it will ever get anything more than a passing mention in Smash, like several of the entries on the list 😢
There's hope for a new splinter cell. Blacklist was actually pretty good. Severely underrated imo. There is definitely space for a new stealth game now that most of the traditional stealth franchises have gone silent. No pun intended.
I'm over a year late to this video, but thank you for including Custom Robo. I fondly remember countless hours of Custom Robo Arena on NDS as a kid, and I'm still waiting for another game to scratch that itch like Custom Robo did. I definitely need to give the Gamecube version a try at some point!

Sly Cooper has been lost to the sands of time. Literally. He's in ancient egypt, in the secret ending of Sly Cooper Thieves in Time(I refuse to call it Sly 4). For the past 9 to 10 years.
Oh shit
I loved those games so much how did I forget
yooo that game was my childhood on the ps2
The developers of the fourth game have a story planned out for a fifth installment and want to make it. They're just waiting for Sony's okay.
I know I'm late as hell to this party, but I love the mention of Custom Robo! It's still one of my favorite games and I wish more people knew about it. However, there actually was another Custom Robo game released on the DS called Custom Robo Arena, and it was actually pretty good for a DS game!

FEAR should have been a series of games with a new paranormal threat each game. Instead they went with alma every game which was dissapointing

Mother as a series died with dignity, whereas Metroid and Paper Mario have spent the last decade being dragged through the mud.
Valve loves the "can't count to three" meme.
Instead of releasing Left 4 Dead 3, they just reboot the series.

He might as well be, considering how Nintendo is going... Actually, no, there's a possibility to get a porting of GX!
When a franchise is so dead you associate it with a different game all together.
I’m surprised Splinter Cell and Crysis aren’t on this list
The closest thing we got to a new splinter cell game was having Sam in R6s
Arguably the best franchise that would have been mentioned..at least the first three.

Portal is just sad, its been almost ten years now, and tons of portal mods exist but once again valve don't try...
Or they will put time and effort into bs like vr that nobody cares about.
😒
Actually I believe it's the same reason they didn't make Half life 3 because of their fear of the enormous expectations it would have
I just finished the game for the first time a few days ago, and I can honestly understand leaving it there. I think it's the best game I've ever played. The ending was very satisfying and while I 100% think valve could make a third game, and it would be totally awesome, I can respect leaving it there.
@@doctortuxito7532 I think that's an excuse, just make a well rounded game thata good improve level design, other mechanics which I don't think it would be to hard because of how far and improved technology has become, because if that was the case rockstar should stop making new gta games, buldar gate 3 shouldn't be a thing.
Nah they aren't making games because steam basically has them set up and are focused on other things instead of video games.

Rip dead space, you were ahead of your time and deserved so much more. I haven't seen a game that can portray the atmosphere like dead space 1 and 2 did.

If we're talking about atmospheric value alone, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games are up there with Dead Space and the older Fatal Frame games.
