Audi Quattro, Porsche 911, Lancia Stratos, Ford Fiesta, and a VW Bug with a turbocharger. What a lineup.

How much more fun it is to watch these classic Rallycross-races than the modern, computerized sport.

Indeed, I’m amazed that the white 911 was able to keep up with the Quattro off the line!

What a race for Mr Ripspeed! In the 80"s I worked for Revolution Wheels and was heavily involved in Rallycross and was at that meet among most others in Brands Lyddon and even some European events A great form of Motorsport

That Quattro really was a revolution when it came out, wasn't it?
Thank you for uploading these, Murray Walker and RallyCross is such a wonderful combination - and it's interesting seeing the earlier days of a sport which I only got to see live in its World RX Reboot era.

I think the driver of the Quattro is ex F1 driver Alexander Wurz's father.

No, and that's not really what the channel is about. It's about preserving the original footage - which can, and often does, include commentary or even jaw-droppingly-awful 1980s cheesy music sequences. :)
