Thank you so much to everyone for coming along for the premier! Awesome! So much fun, but wow, that time moves so fast! We hope we got to say hello to everyone and if we managed to miss anyone - so sorry!
We were saying how lucky we are to have all your positivity, encuragement and kindness! thank you all so very much! :D
On Sunday we have a short special... we go for a walk along the pier in Pittenweem, Nicole makes some jewllery and shows off the jump ring opener, then, last but so far from least I take a moment to say thank you all so very much!

The finds and the history lesson were great but I love seeing rain falling from clouds in the distance. My father made me aware of things like rain falling in far clouds, “sun dogs” around the sun and ice rings around the moon. I’m so thankful for the pleasant memories you brought to mind. Best wishes

This is possibly my favorite video so far. They are all good, but the facts of the real witch history is more frightening than any contrived Halloween stories, especially in contrast to the current world climate. We hope that things of that nature can never happen in modern times. I love it when Nicole gets so excited and giggly over a piece of glass. “Yeh, yeh, yeh!” Always makes me smile! And your camera work is so good, Craig. The piece of maybe Roman you tantalizingly swept by around minute 3 got me shouting at the video, “Look, look!” And you did! Thanks for listening to my plea! 😂
Thank you so much for taking us along. Your sweet spirits are like breaths of fresh air! 😍

Hi! Good to see you! :D That's so nice to hear... Like you, we find the real horror in things like this than in any story about monsters and the like - what happened is far more frightening! And, we share the hope for better futures. It is so nice to know our wee adventures can bring a smile and some enjoyment - its just so rewarding to be able to share that, a real privilege for us! :D That was a very clear plea, heard across so many miles! :D Best wishes!

We arrived late to the Premier, but just watched the video and it was brilliant, love the blue sea glass, rare as hen's teeth that is, and what a sad and tragic story of a terrible time... But for us the scenery was a gift, and we loved it, as we live in the County of Caerphilly, which has no coast line, and we were banned from crossing the county line for over a month and now the whole country of Wales is in Lock-down... So thank you for sharing.... even if it has made us very jealous 🙂😎🐼

Hope you saw our "hello", just as things were winding down! Thank you so much for popping by! We nearly missed the start ourselves - just rushed in the door after a day of filming with 3 mins to spare! It was really nice to see you there! It must have been a terrible time to live through - the many poor folk who suffered it! The blue really was a lucky sighting - if not for the sun popping out, there is no way I would have seen that! We had a very blue day today - we were out on the bank of the Tay, so surprising to see so many pieces of blue there! Its always a nice find to get some blue!
Wishing everyone in Wales the very best - hope its not too long before you can get a breath of sea air!! In the meantime, we'll keep the sights coming! :D

Nicole and Craig what a wonderful spot you chose to visit. So many bits of glass and pottery, I especially liked the big chunky green glass. Again, Craig, amazing history lesson, so sad that so many people died through no fault of their own, falsely accused of witchcraft, judged by mass hysteria and ignorance.

We struck gold... well, glass, but unexpectedly so - after our last harbour trip, we thought we'd be in there for some nice shots then off to a nearby beach, but it was just overflowing with lovely things - then the sun showed us so many more than we first saw! We couldn't leave then! :D
Yes, it is such a tragic period in our history... and also such an interesting one - so glad you enjoyed it, thank you so much for all your support and amazing encouragement, that's very kind! :D

Love the history and the fact you delve into the archives for us all to enjoy things we see but take for granted. We go to Pittenweem often and we always see the houses but not the history behind the old stone walls. You make it so animated and Nicole's excitement is very contagious i love how she gets so excited over sea glass or an old piece of pottery. Looking forward to seeing Nicole's jewellery on Sunday night I have asked for a few pieces for my Xmas I hope I'm very lucky 😀 hugs to you both Alex xx

Hi! Great to hear from you! :D Pittenweem is a lovely place to go for a stroll, just beautiful - I'm glad you enjoyed a wee glimpse behind the walls! That's a really nice way of putting it! :D Oh! Nicole's ability to see wonder in a piece of glass or pottery is incredible - I'm not sure if that comes from anticipation of what it will become or if it is just the sheen and glow of finds mixed with the excitement of the hunt!
If your daughter (I think you mentioned that) has any questions or requirements, please let her know we are very happy to chat with her about that - we want to make sure its perfect for you! :D

In 1973, my husband and I moved to Danvers, Massachusetts, USA. We met a minister of a local church who told us that descendants of both sides of the Salem witch trials attended his church. (The accusers and the accused). He was in despair because neither side would speak to the other. They were also very rigid about who could sit in which pew. The Salem witch trials actually took place in Danvers, in 1692-1693. Life is too short to hang on to such bitterness! Arthur Miller wrote The Crucible, which fictionalized these trials.

Wow! That is incredible... after all those years have past! Its funny, there is a grievance of sorts that persists in Pittenweem, though its between those who think a memorial should be erected in the village and those who think that sheds a bad light on the place. That's really interesting, what you say about Danvers, and such a shame the families can't bring themselves to move on! Thank you so much! :D

03:00 Sooo hilarious!! I was yelling at the screen as Craig panned past that pottery shard to pick up the pieces of glass. Then, as he was panning across to the pottery shard, I was yelling again about what looked like another piece of light blue glass. Apparently I've got cabin fever & need to get to a beach near me to do some beach combing. ROFL ;)

Well that was a bountiful port. The Teal colored bottle neck would make a beautiful ring, just need to make a ring mount to hold it. The storm out to sea was delightful. Those limpet shell are huge in comparison to what I have found on the Gulf Coast. Regarding the history lesson, the final lady that was killed, was she "pressed"? Where large stone are placed on top of a person until the bones begin to break and they suffocate. That was a punishment for some in the Salem witch trials. Hard to believe how people believed that sort of thing could really happen. It was a lovely day, Thanks for bring us along.

Hi! Good to hear from you! :D It was a really good day, and surprising too - after our last harbour hunt, we didn't expect to find too much - we had actually planned to visit the harbour briefly before going to a nearby shoreline! When the sun came out and the colours started glinting in the light, we thought we should stay put! :D Oh! Shell fish - I don't think many people eat limpets here - I've eaten them in the Pacific before... Hmmm, but, yes! Scotland does very well with sea food - we have massive razor clams too! :D
Glad you liked the rainfall - I could stare at sights like that all day!
Yes, that's absolutely right - she was pressed - and, yes, it is just incredible to think how cruel people could and can be to others. It was indeed a lovely day and the wind was, mostly, kind to us! Glad you could make it along! Thank you so much! :D

Richard Hemery has a book out about identifying Thames pottery.
    He also has a website.
We had the Salem Witch Trials in Massachusetts which targeted mostly Women.
Religious fanaticism, ignorance and superstition, a bad combination.
Of course, things like that couldn't happen in our enlightened times😒
The sky and the light were painting worthy and were able to enhance the beauty of the glass.
As a young lad on our farm I would find shards of blue, yellow, green, orange and red glass.
Held up to the sky ,it evoked my emotions and imagination.
Blue, cool- Orange and red,warm- green-plant like...Such fun.
    Cheers,
