He didn’t give them enough to turn his words against him. He knew exactly what he was doing with every interview. Total pro at being a celebrity
Yup, a very intelligent young man...
@pasonjayne4635Someone who uses the word ‘bro’ wouldn’t understand…
@pasonjayne4635 👍
You literally have nothing to prove that was his approach to his silence. Maybe he was stumped and caught off guard without a good answer...
@@nbaoldgirl the comment you responded to was deleted, but saying that about people who use such an innocent word is a very broad categorization..
He was so handsome
that n199a sho is ugly
he was
He was
I love his sly expression he makes when he responds to that last question. He was too smart for these interviewers
do y’all notice how eager the interviewer was for him to speak on his frustration ?! Basquiat caught on to it right then and there
then carefully thought about what to say next cause he knew they were tryna come at him
When he went silent he was listening to the ancestors, that's why he chuckled a bit. They were talking. Lol
You could see the moment he realized what the interviewer was trying to do
I NEED this full video. Not even to post anywhere just to watch for myself.
My oldest brother was a heroin addict for YEARS and many people had no idea. He was very smart and articulate and had a way of being careful with his words so he could control a conversation. Even with that, we could always tell when he was high and I never saw him nod or scratch. This guy was high during this interview, some “nods” come in pauses or it can appear as if they are thinking.
Esos años eran maravillosos...la moda era estupenda
Lindo demais
Loved, Til Thee End Of Time ~
Where can I find the full video?
I would be so thrilled to know what Basquiat would be like today.
He wouldn't be the same person today just like Beyonce ain't.
probably a crazy drug munching millionaire but thats just based on what happens to the majority
I’m making an Album about this video
Chester watson already used this excerpt in his songs. Check out his albums hes dope asf
@@kyfaydfsoabit's just influence. throughout all history of art people were getting influences from past generations. i think there might be a case upon nostalgia, and i have to recognize that problem, but masterpieces always show up at some time. it's about time, like a transition or something. otherwise, I may not know what I'm talking about.
What songs?@@brokinnaggises
Is it ready yet
The art of silence. It's not rude or arrogant, but rather taking power away from both the camera and people behind it.
He was so HIGH LOL
That's that Dope dude. I know from like 79 or 80 he stayed with a joint in his mouth, wish he could have just stuck with the cannabis, he would still be alive
It's not tho
He don't seem like he's high at all right here he's not nodding off scratching or looking paranoid... nothings
@@jonahbrooks5659Yeah he’s not high like they’re making him out to be.
You have no idea if he was. Maybe u do since you witnessed your parents be high all the time. But do conflate his irritation with the interviewers racist and prejudice questions with him being high you big dummy.
He took drugs to let him out
He was a glorified junkie
You’re a lifeless idiot. Get some friends or something bro
You just described half the art museum, art comes from pain more times than not
He was actually a massive influence in the art and hip hop scene in NY in the 80s
bla bla bla
Correct me if I’m wrong but I think you’re talking about your mom.
