I wanted to hear more about the topic of having a sub thats a w2 as a consultant role, using his business for services and in exchange buying him a conpany truck with my business and logo. Anyone have a further analysis on howd that be beneficial from a tax standpoint or business stand point? It sounds like it would cost me alot more money and headaches than it would be to just sub the work out and be done .

Tom, please don’t have these type of guys on here that offer general advice that thousands of others books have been written about. This guy was all over the place. He contradicted himself several times and offered a lot of boring fluff. Especially that example about buying a 1 million property for $50k. Your channel is way better than this. People actually need real actionable advice, not this run of the mill self help crap.

I find it hard to take advice from people who haven’t been there, done that, and proven it consistently. Early in the conversation, Claudio admits that his own business isn’t at the point where he could step away for six months - yet he’s guiding clients to build their business around that very model. It feels like he’s still trying to achieve the same thing he’s advising on. Advice - find real teachers who have a distinguished track record like Steve, or coaches that get you fired up with just their smile like Tom. This chap isn’t there yet.

If you are a young contractor getting started, meaning you're young. 100% invest in the s&p 500 consistently! The compound interest, you will have when you start young is staggering. My mentor is a very successful custom home builder, at one point he was ranked the number one custom home builder in the country.
The money he's made in the market over a lifetime of investing will change his grandchildren's, children's lives!
He invested in his business, real estate, and the market!
