I wonder how much it cost to have an engine rebuilt by these guys
I was wondering the exact same thing
How many man-hours did it take to do that rebuild?
Around 40-60 hours, since we were filming and that slowed things down.
Hagerty how much this cost
Hagerty how much for this..I'm trying to keep my 77 Monte Carlo original but special
Donny Nice well block work is around 300-700$ then parts if going back original and using your old rods and crank around 500$ You can mostly do a rebuild like this for about 1500$ to 1600$ if your doing the rebuild yourself and only having the machine shop doing the block work.

Long live the Chevy small block indeed. Beautiful. Loved this 🇺🇸
Long live the small block? Not if certain greenies have anything to say about it!!
98 k1500 Silverado, 350 all the way!!!!
How did you make the fan blade spin and the motor move like that?
greenjeens
Setup camera in fixed location
Take photo of engine
Move engine forward an inch
Turn fan blade an inch
Take next photo
Repeat last three steps until necessary Combine all photos to play in a short few second video
Voilà!
Wyoming Five-O stop-motion filmography
Magic.
Need more of these builds I enjoy seeing the process.
I like the end when the engine and stand fly out the the shop !!
What are you doing at 2:39 - 2:41 ? I know its timing but why the disc ?
MortenBandit The disc is a Degree Wheel, used to set or verify the cam position to the crankshaft.
That is a camshaft degree wheel. They are setting the camshaft timing.
We don't get to hear it?!?
Rebuilds awesome 300 to 400 hp engine * puts exhaust manifolds on it*
"all original"
The ex mans arent the bad part, its putting all that time and money into those stock heads. 800 bucks gets you brand new aluminum, prolly cost atleast half that to do stockers.
What's wrong with that? Don't have to worry about them rusting through or warping, at least.
Děkuji za vaše přízpěvky-je to hodně poučné,hezká práce,,,
Awesome timelapse +chill music =💯 % Wining!!
