      The Excel is nice but simplistic as investments are usually not that linear in nature. I started investing in MF 2 years back, and now I have increased my SIP 1.5x and will do the step-up after 2yrs and 1yr earlier, I did lumpsum.
      It would be helpful if you would Calculate SWP as per B7 of Sheet1

    So far I'm doing good, approaching retirement with about 800k in savings. Transitioning from building wealth to spending can be scary, especially with soaring inflation. My question is, after maxing out my tax-advantaged retirement accounts, what next?

      In my opinion, some financial situations can be handled on your own if you research enough, while others are best navigated in consultation with a financial advisor

      Agreed, the role of advisors an only be overlooked but not denied. I was shocked that I made more money with investing than hard work, not even my CEO income. Earning ''return on investment'' fetched me millions within a space of 5 yrs.(But I still enjoy working)

    The market trend can turn around very quickly. In fact, the indexes often switch from a bear market to a bull market when the news is at its worst and the mood of investors is at its lowest point. I read an article of people that grossed profits up to $150k during this crash, what are the best stocks to buy now or put on a watchlist?

    • @Daneilchirs
      @Daneilchirs 3 месяца назад +2

      True, initially I wasn't quite impressed with my gains, opposed to my previous performances, I was doing so badly, figured I needed to diverssify into better assets, I touched base with a portfolio-advisor and that same year, I pulled a net gain of 550k...that's like 7times more than I average on my own.

    • @Daneilchirs
      @Daneilchirs 3 месяца назад

      This is a disappointing video. Anything which talks about beyond 60 years of age goes into retirement bucket with different set of risk. The following risks (serious) are not covered:
      1. Sequence of returns risk from markets. Early withdrawal from a low market can seriously erode capital
      2. Market crash. This is always a possibility and recovery can take over a decade. It can erode one's wealth.
      3. As one grows old, one needs more assurance given complications like dementia. The certainty factor has a high weightage.
      Though SWP is a good tool, this must be considered as one of the tools. For a very long period (say 30-50 years) especially after working age must consider exposure to equity ~50-60% (or as one deem fit).

      I was in the same place as you when I was in 9th-10th & I do have that business mindset but I had to convince my parents for me to do that. & it wasn't easy there were long messy discussions, arguments, fights but at the end when you understand their point of view & eventually with time they understand your's they will allow you to do whatever you want. Another thing is that even if they don't allow you to do that focus on what you can control & once you start earning money they will ultimately begin trusting you. Because see I can't imagine a life spent living & building dreams of others. Instead, keep your dream alive & live your life to the fullest so that you feel fulfilled from within.

    Just wanted to understand, taking inflation into account at say 8%, INR 1,00,000 to be as starting amount for SWP 20 years later will mean today's INR 21,000 Only.
    While the excel sheet works and is super helpful in visualizing SWP, while using the sheet please be mindful to enter inflation adjusted numbers to achieve a realistic number.
    Please correct me if I have misunderstood the math!

    Valuation of 50k won’t be same after 20 years.
    50k₹ after 20 years is equals to 15,590 of today’s time (assuming 6% inflation). These number looks attractive but one should never neglect the current value future value aspect.
    Rental yield is still the better option I feel.❤

    Hi Ankur,
    I have bought two endowment plans. One is from SBI Life, where I pay ₹60,000 every year for 10 years. After that, they will pay me ₹60,000 every year for 15 years, and then give me ₹6 lakhs in the 16th year. The other one is from LIC, where I pay ₹5,000 every month for 35 years, and I’ll get ₹1 crore after 35 years.
    Both plans don’t seem to give good returns. What can I do to get my money back and invest in a better SIP for higher returns?

    To summarise you said 13 percent return on sip for 20 years , which amounts by your logic 75 lakhs plus and even if i simply keep that amount in 8-10 per cent fd , would 6-7.5 lakhs per annum,that is 50-60k per month , obviously for that corpus you will be receiving that money, why so drama , and create confusion and all these ideal conditions where everyone would not be able to achieve 13 percent

    There is a bug in your SWP video; what if a corona 2020/2021 or recession 2008 comes? You will be withdrawing more units and you can be for sure that there will be atleast 3 times in every 20 years the market will crash by atleast 50% and the funds will get exhausted because the number of units you are withdrawing is much higher in bear market compared with bull market. Please provision the bear market scenario in your excel.

  • @nikhilhalyal1296
    @nikhilhalyal1296 2 месяца назад

    Everything is acceptable but the fact he considered 50k income at the age of 45 is not acceptable becuase the value depreciates over time so the income value adjusted according to inflation which will be somewhere around 1.5 lakhs considering 6 percent inflation. So a minimum of 20k sip per month is advisable with 5 percent step up the rest math is on the excel😅

    This will not work as excel. Because market is very volatile suppose you put SWP as per this and suddenly market crashes 30% all your plans are gone. So better is always redeemed money required for next 5 to 7 years and put in fixed income Instrument. And take out next 7 years money when ur target is achieved in markets we need to regularly assess this.
