Warren Buffett's investment firm, Berkshire Hathaway, has made only limited investments in Indian companies. One of its notable moves was investing in the digital payments company Paytm in 2018. While Paytm's stock has faced some challenges since its IPO, it wouldn't be accurate to say that Buffett lost his money in Indian stocks overall, especially given his diversified global portfolio. Buffett’s investment philosophy typically focuses on long-term value, so short-term losses or fluctuations are less likely to be seen as a failure in his strategy.

Absolutely right and accurate. Nowadays, the new generation is spending lakhs of rupees to pursue such courses and then starting their own office, investing lakhs of rupees in gadgets, and beginning this same futures and options trading. But after some time, they end up squandering the hard-earned money of their parents.

The money(profit) you get in trading is someone's lose , so that money coming to my pocket is with a negetive vibration (Since loser will cry for hir lose) , I don't need such money just to satisfy my ego. One thing that no one will tell you , there's no specific strategy neither learning it is emotion which drives us to trade. If there were any fix strategy, that trade will be unidirectional , if all the people guess by their skills that market will go up , then who will be on other side - Only those who's mentally not strong to take decision or who's greedy. For example If me and my 2 friends think that in next month Reliance company's price will be on upper side from now since we all learnt from one brilliant trader, then there can't be trading happen. 90% loss krenge tabhi 10% ka paisa banega....kisi ka loss kr k yaha toh paisa bana loge but upr toh uska hisaab ho jayega bhai....never get influenced by someone , they aren't god. Money earned by good medium will lead you to have peaceful life. I'm not against becoming rich but to be rich , learn to benefit others not to be a cause of their lose or their depression. 😉 Stop Trading, Keep Investing!!

Only way to make money through options : You should know : Before trade: 1] Which derivative to trade in (Nifty,Banknifty, stocks etc) 2] Your preferred timeframe 3] Clear strategy 4] Before entering any trade , assess the associated risk (Amount of money you can loose. Accept that you will loose this amount. If you can live with this only then decide to enter the trade) Trade Execution: 1] Entry point 2] Stoploss based on % amount you are willing to loose (risk%) [MOST IMPORTANT] 3] Target From my experience, - Try to be as mechanical as possible. - Eliminate emotions and hope. - Ensure you know your win loss ratio and set your stoplosses accordingly. - Ensure you analyse every loss making trade. Know the reason behind every loss and make sure to not repeat it in future. P.S. : I am no expert. Just a learner. Sharing my loss making experience with you. Hope this adds value!
Brother beginners doesn't go first for options trading because that is not meant for beginners that's for expert trader who had experience of 5 to 6 years in intraday and swing trading etc 😂😂
Jiska kismat saath de wahi option trading kare 😅 Option buyer ka probability of winning a trade is 33% Option writer ka probability of winning a trade is 66%
You can make money in options too but #1.instead of buying do the selling. #2. Don't Hold your loss thinking price will go up next day, if there is no volatility in the stock. #3. Always Hedge #4. Trade only 1-2 times a day ( Nitin Sir right, too much charges) #5. Have at least 4-5 Lakhs ( There is a reason ) , trade only in few stocks ( u must be able to feel it's pulse). That way u will never lose, its an honest advice and don't be a blind follower ..cheers! Happy trading tomorrow
Yeah I am also a trader the thing that u told is absolutely correct in options you need a minimum 5lakh capital to do proper risk management...the main thing that matter is psychology and decipline these two things are primary and the stragies, skill are secondary...👍👍

One trade can't make any one rich, stock market requires a proper study and to be in it surviving for long. Been doing stock market since 2015 and I only do equities still !
I started trading when I was around 20, I started with a meagre amount of only 1000, because I wanted to learn trading. In the beginning I made losses, but slowly slowly I learnt on my own. Now I am 22, and last year I made a good profit(not mentioning the amount invested or earned because I spent only my pocket money, I am still a student). What I learnt in those 2-3 years is that if you follow these social media influencers, you cannot learn anything. You have to learn on your own

90% of traders are losing money not because of nature of derivatives but due to no trading plan and no strategy. If derivatives are replaced with stocks, commodities or forex, percentage of losing traders remain same.

Agree with you. But just that with stocks you can at least hold the position if it's a good stock. All other segments have time value and margin shortfalls to fight against. Its a writers playground out there. Buyers beware

Another Excellent video by Mohak 👌👌👌 waise option buying ki holy grail (jo sirf aaj tak 0.1% log jaan paaye hain) woh hai favourable risk reward ratio. Matlab agar koi 20k se trading kar raha hai toh jab bhi 1k ka loss ho jaye, kill switch activate kar do aur yeh daily karna hai... Mahine mein ek din aisa aata hai jus din 200% ROI banta hai. But kill switch ko activate 1k ke loss ke baad sirf one in 2 million log kar paate hain... Zara socho agar SEBI aisa regulation nikal de ki har broker yeh automate kar paaye ki 20k ke account outstanding mein 1k ke loss ke baad automatic account deactivate ho jayega toh 50% se jyada option buyers profitable ho jayenge. But guess what उसमें govt. Aur brokers dono ka profit half ho jayega... Abb toh jaan gaye Hoge ki kyun govt. Is not taking any steps in this field 😊

Everywhere success rate is always low....good things are always difficult to obtain... Only the most displined and dedicated ones can survive in any competitive field.... So, to me it doesn't make any sense when people say 90% traders fail in stock market .... Any field you go failure rate is always 90%

Just like me most females start this trading journey with 1 important principle. "CAUTIOUS".. and become the winning tortoise. I wish more females come to trading, the day it happens the market will start stabilizing.
Can you prove with data and show that female traders are more profitable than male traders ?? Market only rewards those with proper risk management & mental discipline. This attitude has got nothing to do with gender.
Yup I am also a trader I have traded almost each and every Market forex, commodities, cryptos,Us stock Market, and Indian stock markets....the way they operate is almost similar the primary thing is psychology and risk management any other thing such as stragies, catalyst these are secondary u need much more discipline to be a successful trader 👍👍

The reason why people loose money in financial markets is because the think that it is a place to earn and double money whereas it is a place to grow and compound your money. The most attractive segment in the market is options but to actually know options you need to give yourself time till at least one market cycle 5 years, that is if you wish to become a trader. The problem is people don’t know how to trade but they think they can double the money just by buying options…There is Risk Management, Segment Selection, Market Structure, Liquidity, High Probability Setup, Trend, Option greeks and what not.
Solid video man, hope you talk about some option strategies as well, and how options are used in varieties to hedge a risk from a huge portfolio downfall.
Few tips after losing 5 lac in 4 years of trading :- 1) always maintain small capital of 10-15k in your demat account. 2) always aim for small % of profit and loss and small number of trade per session. 3) daily withdraw the profit above your 10-15k capital and invest that profit in Equity stock. This way you will win small and lose small , also the winning will be invested in equity stocks which will build your long term equity portfolio.
Treat it like a business, bund bund se ghada bharo and check it after a year or two , you will se a nice portfolio of yours if you sincerely follow these tips. Disclaimer : you should know basics of trading for this.
Last week I started investing on share market after reviewing so many RUclips videos and this video. I am thinking that it's better to rent a shop and start a tea stall. Atleast I have to do 10k investment and I will get 20% on my sell daily. That is better than investing money on stock market. Why would I take presure by giving money to another company I have my own hands and legs I can work hard and earn more than that!
I have been trading in equity since past three years but not a single person/youtuber/teacher/books/websites/app/tutorial was able to teach me the meaning of F&O in such simple terms. Thanks for solving this doubt!!
Points that are wrong in this video. 11:22 - Liqudity in indian future contracts has no issue if you take the futures of nifty, banknifty. only the futures of bse (sensex, bankex) have liquidity issues. 13:24 - Return of nifty 50 annualised is 13.7% not 14.8% 22:40 - As of release of this video. NSE has again changed the lot size of nifty 50 option contracts making it more easy for retailers to buy options. 25:43 - Selling option requires naked option selling which requires capital of about 1 lacs but if you sell an option you are immune to theta decay which is one of the main reason why option buyers lose money. 27:45 - The value of option only goes to 0 if the option they bought was an OTM option at the day of expiry. If the option price is above strike price then you still only have an limited loss. 31:10 - This is one of the main reason why option buyers loss money. Option buying is meant to capture moves not holding. if you are going to hold youre going to lose your profit due to theta decay. bought options should be holded max of 10-15 mins. at the end all of this could be fixed by financial education and using stict stoploss, one trade a day and avoid fomo. i am also an retail option trader and option seller.

For example
If me and my 2 friends think that in next month Reliance company's price will be on upper side from now since we all learnt from one brilliant trader, then there can't be trading happen.

Only way to make money through options :
You should know :
Before trade:
1] Which derivative to trade in (Nifty,Banknifty, stocks etc)
2] Your preferred timeframe
3] Clear strategy
4] Before entering any trade , assess the associated risk (Amount of money you can loose. Accept that you will loose this amount. If you can live with this only then decide to enter the trade)
Trade Execution:
1] Entry point
2] Stoploss based on % amount you are willing to loose (risk%) [MOST IMPORTANT]
3] Target
From my experience,
- Try to be as mechanical as possible.

Another Excellent video by Mohak 👌👌👌 waise option buying ki holy grail (jo sirf aaj tak 0.1% log jaan paaye hain) woh hai favourable risk reward ratio. Matlab agar koi 20k se trading kar raha hai toh jab bhi 1k ka loss ho jaye, kill switch activate kar do aur yeh daily karna hai... Mahine mein ek din aisa aata hai jus din 200% ROI banta hai. But kill switch ko activate 1k ke loss ke baad sirf one in 2 million log kar paate hain... Zara socho agar SEBI aisa regulation nikal de ki har broker yeh automate kar paaye ki 20k ke account outstanding mein 1k ke loss ke baad automatic account deactivate ho jayega toh 50% se jyada option buyers profitable ho jayenge. But guess what उसमें govt. Aur brokers dono ka profit half ho jayega... Abb toh jaan gaye Hoge ki kyun govt. Is not taking any steps in this field 😊

So glad I never rode the options wave and stuck with safe long-term equity stocks! Thank you so much for educating the youth! Much needed!

Few tips after losing 5 lac in 4 years of trading :-
1) always maintain small capital of 10-15k in your demat account.
2) always aim for small % of profit and loss and small number of trade per session.
3) daily withdraw the profit above your 10-15k capital and invest that profit in Equity stock.
This way you will win small and lose small , also the winning will be invested in equity stocks which will build your long term equity portfolio.

Graduate from What's app University?
But then, that's exactly what gambling is.
13:24 - Return of nifty 50 annualised is 13.7% not 14.8%
22:40 - As of release of this video.

Good analysis bro 👏👏
But no matter what strategy is used... trading is zero sum game.. some has to loose money for someone to win..
its meaningless to trade for everyone unless you are educated and skilled at it..
I made around ₹14 Lakhs in F&O and ₹1.2 Crore in equity. But I don’t share my fundamental criteria, techniques of screening & indicators with anyone. I’m just 21 year old but bought a mercedes. But, Most people who sells course & premiums to get calls are all fake. No one who can make profit would ever share his strategies. What was ur initial capital?
@@JominC Hey, My initial capital was ₹64.90Lakhs on Farm Land’s Overdraft from ICICI Bank. And ₹15 Lakhs from A hyperlocal startup profit. The agriculture land was my father. I convinced him with profits & share price paper trading kind of.
@@RishirajPatel-hs3cd Thanks for the reply..Many people claim to make a lot of money from trading alone without much initial capital which are most likely lies. Ur claim makes much more sense though.
I am doing options trading since last year. Have earned decent amount in option selling, but you need higher capital for it. Whereas for option buying you can trade with lesser capital but need chart reading skills, time to learn and initial capital to loose.
