After watching your video and others I ordered my system and installed it. Hardest part was getting the old exhaust off underneath, had to cut a little. Then trying to position the rubber holders for muffler was kind of itching too. Realised afterwards I could have put some soap on there to make it easier. Anyway, do not run your VFR800 with stock exhaust, get the Delkevic, the sound is totally awesome. Now off to air, Power Commander and holy rubberised smoke...maybe a supercharger kit? Don't tell my wife.
Thanks for the vid. On my 2013 bike I struggled for about an hour to get the old anchor off...much easier once I dropped off the plate assembly for extra wriggle room.
What was Honda thinking? Did the bike need additional ballast or just a boat anchor when they built that OEM exhaust! The Delkevic looks and sounds killer! Too bad there is nothing there so you can remove the baffle and still keep the cops knight stick from sliding up the exhaust.
You picked a lovely day to install it and ride...just wonder if the dude installing was actually you , went so smoothly the job ..I wonder if it’s same with other vloggers lol
Fitted mine today, much more of a fart on if you have vtec which has remote adjustment for the rear shock, also i have pannier brackets which had to be removed along with the rear rack and stock rear mudguard
Hey Chriss!, You are the reason why i bought a '02 vfr800. I have a question though... you have clamps on your exhaust, but mine is welded the entire way. You know anything about this difference? I live in the Netherlands btw, maybe thats why..
You should of weight each system for comparison,I hope rip out that baffle, you don't need no sticking baffle, lol good video to show others. I wish I can be tech savvy to download on you tube, I've just totally done my ZX14 motor BB kit rods, mild cams, this coming winter turbocharging. Sound great!
so are you riding with or without baffle? I have a Honda VFR 800 from 2003 as well and I feel like getting an upgrade on the exhaust sound. However, I can't really hear the difference between baffle vs. no baffle on my headphones. Could you describe the difference or recommend on or the other? Big fan of your videos by the way! Ride safe
I've just fitted a black widow exhaust after a year of stock OEM. I did it last week, and I'm still grinning from ear to ear. That has easy to remove baffles, and the sound is very obviously different. The only mod I would recommend doing. Totally unleashes the sound compared to the horrible stock.
I'm installing mine tomorrow without the baffle. I'm using your video but I didn't see anything about the baffle screw hole if the baffle is not in there because I can't get it to screw in without the baffle.
Part missing at 2:07 "Now we start the bike to listen how it sounds without exhaust..." lol P.S. *Personally* i'm with Leovince's SBK but i believe that Two Brothers is the best sound exhaust for viffers
@@Mike_Jones68 no, but it is highly recommended. Before the tune my bike was making 150 at the rear wheel and was running way to lean. After the tune I was making 190 at the rear wheel. You can get away with it in the short term but I wouldn’t recommend it in the long run.
@@jakedragsknee gotcha, yeah thats what I was figuring on wld be the case. I just picked up a great condit vfr that already has a power commander v in it, but oem exhaust, buncha other stuff tho, so my real only mod will be exhaust and determining whether to do a full sys so then removing the cat. thanks!
My TL on my channel sounds incredible, best sounding bike I ever owned but the sound of the VFR makes me want to commit sin and be slaughtered by my wife for abusing the wallet...might just have to..
An excellent, informative and well produced video...thanks!
Delkevic Exhausts
Bro you got the Magistrate to comment, that's status!
Looking to get your exhaust for my 2007 VFR 800, please send me web info and part number. Thanks in advance for your time and patience

Mine is so stuck it's not even funny anymore Glad yours came out so easy even if this video is 3 yrs old cheers
Now that's how to do a 'how to' video.... Excellent

Nice tutorial - I also have the Delk carbon mini on my 8th gen VFR800 and love it.
The new Chris Fix but on bikes
Good Job!! Mine are coming on the 11th, too bad I will be at a conference. Will have to wait til I get back on the 13th!
It will be well worth the wait!
Great video, greatest sound ever on VFR
Love that sound
You picked a lovely day to install it and ride...just wonder if the dude installing was actually you , went so smoothly the job ..I wonder if it’s same with other vloggers lol
I put a 7th gen single on my 6th gen and it worked perfect
Bought some delkavics and followed this vid t install them n wanna say many thanks was a great help n now my bike sounds Beastie lol
Nice job, thanks for sharing bro. Greetings from Morocco, Africa.
Got the bike, now trying to decide between slip on or full system from Delkevic. Any education welcome
Awesome install video man! Love what you been doing with this!!
Super value for money. I can only recommend to anyone just do not measure the authority is not legal road.😉
Fitted mine today, much more of a fart on if you have vtec which has remote adjustment for the rear shock, also i have pannier brackets which had to be removed along with the rear rack and stock rear mudguard
Thanks , excellent doco
Hi there; just subbed.
I've got a silver 54 (04) plate vfr800 and those pipes look amazing..Sound good too.
Nice job there fella.
Ride safe.
Hey Chriss!,
You are the reason why i bought a '02 vfr800. I have a question though... you have clamps on your exhaust, but mine is welded the entire way. You know anything about this difference? I live in the Netherlands btw, maybe thats why..
Dude can you send me the link of where you bought your fender eliminator?
Love that exhaust.
Very therapeutic :)

Where you bought number plate tale?
Sweet...Well Done. Thanks...JP
Sounds freakin' awesome. I have a Micron system on mine, its a little quieter, but still horny as. Nothing like a V4 Honda.
You forgot to fire it up with everything off.
Thats a must for installing an exhaust.
Marty Desmarteau I daily my bike like that
Hmmm, you might not want to do that where I live.
Great video!
Do you not need a gasket on the Down pipe into the ex like the OEM requires ?
You forgot to mention that you don't have a back fender and paniers racks that needs to be removed before the installation

Where did you get the pipe
Did u have to get your bike remapped after the install ?
Very nice!
is there a reason you didn't go full exhaust?
Great video. Thanks. Subbed.
Hello bud, bought pc3 recently, have the same exhaust, do u know any good map for pc?
Hey can't exhaust pipes reach temps of over 1000 degrees F? Does this not toast the silicon grease you're using?
The grease is only there to ease the installation. It will eventually break down and vanish on it's own.
How do you solve leaks?
What did you do with the baffle hole? Did you plug it up after taking out the baffle?
I'm installing mine tomorrow without the baffle. I'm using your video but I didn't see anything about the baffle screw hole if the baffle is not in there because I can't get it to screw in without the baffle.
Done, it sounds awesome!

Your opinion is wrong :)
does that have any effect on the torque or power of the bike?
FEEL THE POWER OF THE VFR Gracetdog!
Good music
Is it not pronounced del-kev-ic? because of the k?
I do a lot of things well, but pronouncing things is not one of them! lol
Delk-e-Vic
i just mod my stock exuest. and its sound amazing.
How
v4
I’d get a cat delete. It really holds the bike back from its true potential.
Wld u have to take it to get tuned with a cat delete?
@@Mike_Jones68 no, but it is highly recommended. Before the tune my bike was making 150 at the rear wheel and was running way to lean. After the tune I was making 190 at the rear wheel. You can get away with it in the short term but I wouldn’t recommend it in the long run.

Bolts should be 9ft pounds.
Shut up and take my money!
