Hi Ryan, I've been on Testosterone replacement therapy for quite a while and usually have been giving myself shots in my right glute muscle (butt). I also inject every 2 weeks and my doctor didn't mention I could use my thigh. At first thought, it seems like I might hit a bone or blood vessel. And, while I've seen a few videos on thigh injections, I must say yours was by far the clearest and easiest to understand where to inject in the thigh. So, the next time I'll definitely try your method and feel sure it'll work great. Thanks for the help and I'll let you know how it goes. Btw, I liked the video and also became a subscriber!

I've watched other videos of guys showing how they do their T-shots, but this is by far the best one. This is also the first time watching it has made me anxious, because now I actually have started the process of getting my T prescription, so it's suddenly all very real. I'm super excited, but god I think giving myself shots is going to be a bit harder than I used to think.

It was kinda like having someone with me in person talking me through it, THANK YOU. And all the warmest wishes for folks starting to do their own injections-- YOU WILL BE OKAY, and when in doubt you can keep referring back to videos, trans spaces online, etc.
Interesting, I heard it's better to push the needle in the flesh at a 45 degree angle. Awesome video, I'm very thankful for other trans people posting about testosterone injections, really helps us baby trans how to safely use the substance. Thanks !
You should use two different alcohol wipes. One for the bottle tops, and another for the injection site. Wipe the area starting at point of injection, going in a circular motion, away from the site. This lessens the possibility for infection.
when I done t shots there were two needle bits one larger needle bit for getting the t out of the vile and a second SMALLER needle bit that you switch to for injection, it looks like he used the larger needle to inject! Looks scary ngl
Recently caught up with one of my trans friends from middle school. He'd been on T for about 8 months and hearing how his voice has changed was super jarring... And perhaps gave me a little bit of gender envy.
you should always do outward spirals when cleaning the injection site to push any bags risk away instead of spreading it, also use a new alcohol pad when you clean your bottle.. god knows what could of collected on it when you wiped your leg. This is what my nurse taught me to do.
Wow! I'm not the kind of persone who fears injections, but... wow... making one on myself, pushing all that loooooong needle in my leg should be very scary! I immediately thought about how much motivated you must have been to do that every two weeks. Courageous, really.

Thank you for this video! I will be starting T soon :) Just kinda wanted to prepare myself. I'm not a fan of needles!
woah im checking back to this channel after a long time and ur voice has gotten a lot deeper😎
Baby enby here, and this was SUPER helpful for my first shot! :D I didn't actually feel the needle, but I was definitely nervous about getting all the steps before the injection right.
You are a champ not to numb area first! WHEW I used to numb my shot area back upper butt area (when I was taking them for IVF).
Man, your looking so handsome! Glad you're back, bro. Nice vid
Why are u using this horomne
Just did my first shot of estrogen today, im not the target (im MTF lol) audience for this but thank you for your advice and guidance
when I done t shots there were two needle bits one larger needle bit for getting the t out of the vile and a second SMALLER needle bit that you switch to for injection, it looks like he used the larger needle to inject! Looks scary ngl
Thank you for this - I followed your instructions and I barely felt it ❤❤
Recently caught up with one of my trans friends from middle school. He'd been on T for about 8 months and hearing how his voice has changed was super jarring... And perhaps gave me a little bit of gender envy.
10 weeks in and I still come to this video when I have anxiety about my shot.
you should always do outward spirals when cleaning the injection site to push any bags risk away instead of spreading it, also use a new alcohol pad when you clean your bottle.. god knows what could of collected on it when you wiped your leg. This is what my nurse taught me to do.
Your voice sounds sooo amazing
Wow! I'm not the kind of persone who fears injections, but... wow... making one on myself, pushing all that loooooong needle in my leg should be very scary! I immediately thought about how much motivated you must have been to do that every two weeks. Courageous, really.
Holy shit I haven't been on ur channel in ages! U look amazing ur voice is so deep!
