I've lived in the Tokyo area for more than 30 years. Rather than going to Tokyo SkyTree, which is expensive, I recommend going to the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building in Shinjuku, which is still one of the tallest buildings in Japan, and better yet... the two observation decks are free! Also, no reservations are needed. That is where I take visitors to Japan.

@10:34 That swastika is called "manji" (卍) in Japanese which is used to signify Buddhism or sometimes even a Buddhist temple on a Japanese map. They have also been used in many cultures throughout history with no bad meaning intended. Swastikas, like those the Nazis used, faced the opposite direction and were slightly tilted.

That big lantern is really big. It’s much different from the souvenir your parents bought. It’s so cute!
You should really rent kimono, you will definitely be able to take beautiful and special photos!
Your meal this time looks the healthiest, but unfortunately I can’t tell what the fried food is that you don’t know, so I can’t give you the correct answer!
Those stone walls are indeed the same as those in Peru.
I once saw a video saying that they were built by aliens who came to the earth at the same time. We just have to believe it or not!
This is another beautiful episode with the feeling of poetry, thank you so much for sharing! 👍🥰🙏

We went to most of the tourist attractions like Pão de Açucar, Christo Rei, Parque Laje. Jardim Botanico, Centro Historico, Ipanema, Copa Cobana. We stayed in Leblon and loved that too. We did a day in Petrópolis and several days in Minas Gerais and Florianopolis. Rio was our favorite of all. Just love the vibe there. There is so much to see in Brazil. We may even go back this year to explore more of the country.

Drinking water, fishing and before trains were invented, the easiest way to transport a lot of goods. That's why so many cities today have a big river running through it.
Tourism has been booming the last couple years in Japan. If you go to Kyoto, get used to similar crowd scenes. That said, most people are day trippers. If you go to Sensō-ji early morning or in the evening, it'll be nearly empty.
Hope you have a great time!

actually, about the sacred symbol, the swastika (in the right direction, which is to the left) is the energy of god and love and life and welfare, and it's in the contrary direction than the nazi’s one. they just used the power within the symbol, but in the other direction (literally and energetically), which is to the right. so is not exactly the same.

With the two of you having seen so many world class destinations, Milwaukee may not impress you, even though it is a nice place by one of the world's largest freshwater lakes. 正確には、江戸時代に東京都は「武蔵国」(Musashi-no-kuni)と呼ばれていました。
    江戸は武蔵国の中心都市の名前です。
To be precise, Tokyo Metropolis was called "Musashi-no-kuni" (Musashi Province) in the Edo period.
Edo is the name of the central city of Musashi-no-kuni.

New here. Looks like you arrived at the wrong week of cherry blossom. A couple of scale 3 earthquakes a month is quite common. If tired of Tokyo, try to take a 3 hr bullet train northward to Sendai. Cozy, less tourists, good food.
It seems you haven’t been to China yet? Check out the Shanghai travel videos. Shanghai-Beijing combo should be interesting for first timer. 3 hrs flight from Tokyo. Personally I think Beijing is more fun.

We are doing Beijing-Shanghai after Japan 😊. We show the cherry blossom properly in a future video, it was around 2 weeks later than expected this year as it was really cold

@@JumpingPlaces beware of May 1-7 national holidays in China. Beijing and Shanghai will be very crowded. And it would be a wise to hire a local guide at least for the first day. If you can contact one online, he or she can suggest your hotel. You will need VPN and Alipay or Wechat pay. Activate your VPN before arrival.

Unfortunately Japan actually sits on 4 tectonic plates that’s why earthquakes are more frequent there.
