Celebrimbor: We have learned from the past! We will conquer with a better ring! Talion: Unfortunately for you, I still have morals and you're crossing them.
Playing this mission when you’ve already unlocked the ability to summon drakes is funny because Celebrimbor’s desperation for one doesn’t make much sense in that context. 😂
They kind of retconned this. The actual story is that all the Rings of Power were crafted only for elves. After Sauron killed Celebrimbor and destroyed Eregion, he gave the seven rings to the Dwarven Lords and the nine rings to the kings of men. Celebrimbor is innocent in the books and the game just made him another Feanor villain. Plus, Helm was born millennia after Celebrimbor’s death.
Well it was either we have a lotr game that’s awesome or we have one that makes sense canon wise but is not as good. They didn’t butcher it like Amazon did
@@mikeoxlong6797 Shadow of War works fine. I'm just not a fan of them throwing in Ar Pharazon, Helm Hammerhand, and Isildur as Nazgul when the Nine were already given to the Nine Men before the Fall of Numenor. That's just plain fan service. Plus, Celebrimbor doesn't have to be like Feanor, he is much nicer than his prideful and villainous grandfather. If they wanted to introduce Nazgul identities, they could have used Khamul, a Numenorean warrior (three Nazgul were Numenoreans), and a made-up king.
They need to make a DLC Full of action! " Against Mordor " Is the name, bring out YOUR strongest captains to fight in a arena ( 5v5 ) and the winner can get Huge prizes, or it can be a wave based system, ( 5 captains > 15 waves of orcs = 2 Legendary gear sets/chests )
There are lots of good ideas for dlcs but sadly I think not many people play this game so the devs probably dont think that it is worth it to still work on this game
Those games storywise are of course doing contradictory stuff...for instance near the end of the first game Shadow of Mordor, Celebrimbor says something along the lines 'Sauron is still weak, without power of teh Ring or the Ringmaker he will be nothing more than an eye bound to his tower' (setting aside that Sauron IS RINGMAKER :), why would Celebrimbor's elven smith spirit allow Sauron to gain physical form? :)) and at the end of the game we have the QTE boss fight :) heh where Black Captain draws Celebrimbor's elven spirit to himself..and somehow this makes from him Sauron in physical form hhehe...then obviously Celebrimbor is all like let's go we've done all we could..and it's Talion who says about time has come for a new ring :)...and near the end of the sequel...we have full corporeal Sauron...in FAIR FORM NO LESS (ability he lost in lore since the Downfall of Numenor) draws Celebrimbor's spirit into himself...and becomes an eye bound to his tower....all lot of nonsense and contradictory one between each game.
That's partially true, but Talion's plan was to destroy Sauron, and with the new ring, Celebrimbor saw it as an opporrunity to dominate Sauron and his armies, and this whole game the two weren't on the same page, and when they realized that, it was too late
Yeah but also kinda no. In Shelob's vision where Celebrimbor didn't abandon Talion the two of them successfully overthrew Sauron but nothing would have changed. Talion/Celebrimbor would have become the new lord of Mordor and the same tyrant that Sauron was. There would still be a war against the west.
I love this type of conversation!
“WE crafted a ring!”
Ok he’s got you there Talion.
The look he made when he said that
This moment shows players Celebrimbor darkness. Especially that laugh. Sinister laugh.

So truee..I thought that as well
I think there's a certain order you're meant to do these in
Unless you think of it as wanting more that just the one drake you can call.
True 😂

Spoiler: This game doesn't make sense lorewise but we allow it because Monolith at least wasn't that smug as Amazon witch changing the lore

Oh wow thanks, I’m not really familiar with the books
This characters scripts are a masterpiece

I love how she walked off from him during this awkward moment and he moans 😂

Talion definitely led to Celebrimbors corruption.
How?
@@decrazygaming1738 it was Talion who wanted to make the new ring Celebrimbor was ready to give up at the end of som
