These are ok for budget subs if the dust caps would stay on.

That box is wayyy too small. I just bought that speaker 2 weeks ago. That speaker requires a ported box to be 3.0 cu ft. That box looks like a 1.5 cu ft. That speaker has so much more output potential if you put it in the correct enclosure.

All mainstream brands don't really go for performance they build to sell. So I wouldn't be surprised if the employee / owners run around with no bass or a sub and enclosure like this.

Tune your box lower the five stack can play pretty low down in the 20hz it’s it’s gonna be either your boxes too small or isn’t tuned low enough a good box for that sub is down 4 sound pro fab box the bigger one I think that box is five or $600
