You are exactly correct when you say you never can recover from the loss of your children or wife. I am not looking for any sympathy at all, I lost my wife when my youngest girl was 5 days past her 2nd birthday. That was 19 years ago and I still haven’t recovered. Thank you. Anyone that has said that Time heals all wounds are wrong. It doesn’t
I’m so sorry for your loss, I can only imagine the pain and suffering you went through because of that. Your strength is unparalleled and I want you to know that from someone who is married and has children too. That type of pain must be haunting, but to continue on and be there for your children is the most noble thing anyone can do! Also, I agree with you 100% that time does not heal all wounds. Thank you for sharing, I sincerely appreciate it! - Chris
I'm with you on that. My wife, the only woman I ever dated , kissed or made love to, passed away after 30 years together , 2 days before our 25th Wedding Anniversary back in Oct. 2009 from Pancreatic cancer. There has been no other since and I'm now 70 years old. I have not gotten over it either.
@ Yeah, I’m sorry for you too. It brings me to tears. My friends and family used to ask me why I didn’t remarry? My coping method was “Hey, I’m 1-0, so I’m undefeated “ Yes, I know it is cringey 😬
When Francis (Kevin Nash) said 60 kilograms, it's code for 60 hostiles. At that time, word is out that Josef is John's target so Francis already knows that John is about to conduct his business there. He made a good decision to not be an extra kilogram.
One thing that everyone misses, and I admit the whole movie distracts you from an obvious conclusion. At the end of the movie he goes to a place he knows has medical supplies, an animal shelter, and if you follow the clues his wife was the veterinarian who worked at the shelter, it was how she was able to arrange the puppy at the beginning. The dog he takes away was scheduled to be euthanized, and as he and the dog are walking away they pass the spot where his wife collapsed.
16:55 When John asked him if he lost weight. It was a kind of code to ask him how many hostiles were in the building. He replied that he lost 20 kg, so 20 hostiles inside.
I work in the Entertainment Industry here in London with a lot of well known singers, bands and A list Actors both here and in the States. Part of my role involves arranging TV and radio interviews and chaperoning actors to premières - ensuring they arrive on time, greet the crowd, do red carpet junkets and leave safely afterwards often to other premieres in other countries. Keanu Reeves actually did lose a child in 2001 in real life and his partner passed soon after that in an accident. This wasn't particularly well known but it was soon going to be. While on a promotional tour for this movie, Keanu did a morning Interview for the BBC with a female presenter known here for being a rottweiler to her guests and I could see straight away she was going to be a problem. I won't name her Her opening curveball question was referring to how difficult it must have been filming these sad scenes when he went through such a double tragedy in his own life. 😳 She just didn't stop and kept pushing it - barely referring to the movie at all. To this day I don't believe she ever saw it and was simply handed a synopsis which is very common. Keanu was the consummate professional, calmly and openly answering her questions - steering the whole conversation towards a discussion about grief. Eventually he had to sternly yet still far more politely and gently than was warranted cut her short, stating that this was just a movie and he was here to talk about the film, the process of training and of making it (for example the guns don't fire in these films. The gunfire, flares, sound and blood are all CGI which your eyes fill in - rather interesting in light of the tragedy actors such as Alex Baldwin have been involved in in recent times) not to discuss his own life. She didn't stop though. I have never come so close to actually stopping a live TV interview and pulling the artist but he didn't budge and handled it brilliantly. He was a little shaken afterwards though but so professional, moving straight on to several other TV and radio interviews that day. 😡🇬🇧
Each john wick movie gets significantly better than the previous and this is one of the only franchises i know to successfully do that four movies in a row.
We have absolutely no doubt about that! This movie was an action-packed masterpiece with so much depth that hasn’t been revealed yet (not to us at least!). We cannot wait to continue into the John Wick universe! Hope you enjoyed our reaction 🙌🏼 - Chris
This movie... This whole series is a love letter to anyone who loves action movies. It sets THE bar for modern action movies. The music, lighting, choreography, and world building.
I love how you worded this comment! “A love letter to anyone who loves action movies” is a great description of this film!! If it’s the whole series like you’re saying it is then we’re in for an amazing, jaw dropping experience 🙌🏼 - Chris
The actor who had to pretend to kill the dog felt so guilty he would cuddle and play with the dog when not on the set. I think he also ended up buying it.
That’s so heart warming to hear ☺️. The actors who play villains are always so empathetic and sweet! It would be a very difficult thing to act out and so happy that there’s a happy ending for the dog!! Thank you for sharing! - Daniela
Looking forward to your next John Wick reactions. John knew the Shelter/Vet clinic. If you look closely you see, that in the final scene when John walks away with his new dog (by the way he didn't steal the dog from someone, the note on the cage said "to be put down", so he actually rescued the dog), it's the same place where his wife collapsed in the beginning. It's assumed that his wife worked there and thats why he knew he would find medical stuff there.
This blew my mind! I didn’t notice that but now that scene has such a deeper meaning😦 I loved that he rescued the dog. Thank you so much for sharing that! Amazing insight! I hope you can join us on the next movie!🤗 - Daniela
@@TheHappyCryersReact There are so many hidden details in this movie. I think also if his wife worked there that's how she was able to arrange for him to receive a well-trained puppy after she passed.
A solid gold 24K coin at today's value in U.S. Dollars is $2,609.40. Willam Defoe's character cares for John so when he heard that Vigo wanted John dead for 2 million, he had to take offer to protect him from inside. Keep your friends close but keep your enemies closer.

Excellent editing of your reaction and very good commentary. BTW, they did not have “arsenals”, they had just enough ‘tools’ to accomplish their jobs. In the gun community, especially gun collectors, it is easy and common to have 100+ firearms, which may take several decades to accumulate.
Thank you so much for saying that! We are very glad to hear that you enjoyed our reaction!! 🙌🏼 That’s really cool to know actually! I had no idea, but that definitely makes sense. Winston also did an episode of Game of Thrones as a priest who helped the hound out after his fight with brien. His name is Ian Mc Shane and is most famous for a series called lovejoy.
One of the things I keep thinking about. In the end people keep thinking he got the dog to replace the puppy. But its for cover because no one looking for a murderer would look twice at a person casually walking their dog.
Viggo sat in his office smoking PCP laced blunt in order to relax and but stay alert and not feel pain at same time. Marcus said yes to killing John so he could protect him "keep your friends close, and your enemies closer". John killed Yosef quick as a courtesy to Viggo since he gave up his son. Mayhem laughed after one shot because he realized Viggo gave him a gun with one in chamber and empty mag.
The whole world of John Wick comes from a graphic novel/comic series actually. Francis was John Wick's driver when he used to work for Viggo and so John gives him a way out of the kill zone because they have a professional relationship. When asked if you've lost weight, the answer, in Kilograms is 27.. which is how many guards/gunmen are inside guarding the target. Notice how John also never kills someone who gives him something in return for their life. Perkins and Francis give him something and he spares their life. Perkins was killed in the end because she broke the rules of the Continental.
John like most highly trained close quarter combat specialist prefer to use the Mozambique drill it involves to shots to chest and one to head to minimize the risk of passing an enemy that can shot or injure you as you pass. This is very effective to eliminate a target and move on focused on next targets without dividing your attention or focus on downed targets. You always shoot till target is dead, if they have body armor, on drugs or just have a will of steel it may take more. In Red Circle club John shot one on dance floor in left chest (heart) the guy kept moving, you see John moves barrel up to where a vest would not cover then shot 3 more times guy down.
After the John Wick movies, check out the movie, Nobody. Both were written by the same person and were produced in the same studios but different directors.

An ancient order called Assa-sins used to accept only gold as payment (weight in gold) for their services such as espionage, murder, or counterintelligence. It adds to the believability of the movie since there is precedence in real history. Some even argue that this is the origin of the Beggars Guild in China's past as well as the Ninja of Japan. If I may add a personal note, people who do work in military, intelligence and kill or capture squads must keep their feelings firewalled so they don't get in the way of what must be done.

1st time watcher….. wear something different. Matching hoodies will loose you a few viewers before they even watch. Love the energy though. ❤
If someone refuses to watch us because we wear sweaters then that’s on them and honestly a little weird. My wife and I will dress how we want. Hope you enjoyed our reaction! - Chris
