Love the Alien. Have it in star and nexus plastic. Star is definitely more overstable than Nexus but both are awesome. Its like if a Pig and a Sonic had a child, such a fun tool. The nexus plastic just does not want to come out of the sky and the star is super reliable overall. Kinda like you said, didn't replace anything in my bag, just made it into my bag, haha. I find myself reaching for it way more than I thought I would!

The rollo is mind blowing. Crush it on hyzer and it rolls. Throw it like a roller and it rolls. Throw it soft on hyzer and stands right up and finishes right lol

you have to throw it flat and like you would an approach shot to get the correct flight path. no power tee shot. more of a one step full power shot. i didnt know innova made this until today. found a 1st run for $13 plus shipping. im the type that likes to throw these wierd disc that others hate.lol. i crush with the groove.

It seems like a love it or hate it for most people. took a bit for me to figure out what to use it for, but I found I really like it for far forehand approach shots I want to go straight and dont want to overshoot it.
What would you consider a far forehand approach shot?
Loving it. Have used it for tomahawk overheads in the 150' range over trees and parked it. My go-to putter in Nexus plastic. Who'd have thought? And it's affordable!
Definitely the first person I hear putting with it! I need to step my tomahawk game up and throw some of those in the mix in some videos.

I've got a yellow one and star plastic and it doesn't seem to be as stable as yours. For reference, I threw out 350 with distance drivers, and when I put it on a decent hyzer, it flips to flat and just rides straight. But it does seem to just die at the end of its flight. I think glide is correct for mine

Yea I have, and do it sometimes, but haven’t made it muscle memory yet. Have to think about it still.
Honestly, the Alien looks like a less comfortable Pig. The bottom especially looks like a Pig to me, but with a different top. The Pig too glides a bit more than the numbers indicate.
I said the same thing about the pigs glide in my pig vs slammer video.
@@FlippyJamesDG How would you say the Pig compares with the Alien? To me it looks like the Alien flies like a beat-in Pig.
@mirage5566 been a while since I’ve thrown both, and only threw each one day. I think the alien has more glide and goes farther though.
Your experiences with the Alien mirror my own. Often goes too far (compared to an overstable approach disc), and it flips up easier than expected on forehand throws. And yes I have wobble like you do, but I throw other straight putters and mids without them rolling over like the Alien. That said it does fade more than a neutral putter.
It went surprisingly far to me, but I liked how it flew too.
Honestly, that looks like a minimum of a 4 glide
On those simple flick approaches I was lost for sure.
Definitely doesnt look like it flies close to it's numbers. Also looks like it takes more real estate in the bag. Love your reviews. Not a fan of the disc though
