@@Adam-nm7nc late reply I know, but from what I remember in a scene where a girl teleported too much in a short span, her cells became contaminated with "chiralium" and she was just super weak n looked dead for a good while after

I loved the cliff boss fights they were the most interesting and unique but also powerful when you find out who that character is at the end
The last thing you want in life is Mads Mikkelsen actively trying to kill you
Love how Higgs talks about how its finally time to have some action in the game.
Finished the game a couple days ago this game surprised me in its boss fights, usually fighting human enemies is way more fun that fighting the giant robots/eldritch abominations in Kojima games but in Death Stranding it was the complete opposite for me.
Cliff's battles were fun but after the first one they didn't really change the formula that much, Higgs was lame besides the awesome throwback to MGS4 final fight but every BT boss fight was super fun and the fact I was alot slower and more vulnerable than Venom Snake added to the tension.
And don't forget infamous "return to Capital Knot city" boss fight

When the game decided to be a GAME it was freaking amazing. The tar you'd have to wade through to get to these moments didnt really feel worth it.

This game is actually amazing I was a little confused when I watched this but after I bought it I was still confused but I got addicted to it.
I really loved the Higgs boss fight. It looked like a cutscene you're playing, and the Street Fighter sequence just made me laugh so much. It's Kojima doing Kojima stuff, and I'm glad he pisses people off, cause it's fun as heck.
This game is Kojima expressing his hatred towards Konami. Lou is MGS. Sam is Kojima always doing things tirelessly and bringing the world together, and then Higgs (Konami) threatens to take that all away and almost wins until Kojima beats them with Death Stranding. Both literally and metaphorically.

The majority of the boss fights in this game are just the same fight. Every BT fight is the same, the war flash backs all have the same mechanics, and the only unique one is the fight where you kill Higgs. Then for some reason they ran out of ideas at the end and had the final boss be another cut and paste BT fight.

gameplay loop seems like its really boring in this game.

The big cst is a story event where you have to run awsy from thats why it is no boss fight. You can encounter the cat bt as snormal bt encounter nevertheless.
