Btw, I don’t get the “Bandai give us more Gokus in the 3.0 mold criticism.” I get it, everyone wants everything yesterday, but they know this drill all too well. Let me give you this piece of info: I just counted the number of Gokus in the 2.0 body…outside of the Kid Gokus (3 separate releases) and the Goku Blacks (3 separate releases), I counted 20, including event exclusives. Moral: I’m sure we’ll be over saturated with the 3.0 Gokus and the ubiquitous Goku 3.0 body molds in no time. He’s not a rare release as a Piccolo or a Gohan in this line, and certainly not a mythical release like a Perfect Cell, or the always-snubbed like Kid Buu haha.
Not 100% perfect, but it fits. The blue is lighter at least on SROE, and DF's waist is a bit wider with a little more gap for the torso joint, so it doesn't like to sit exactly right all the way around.
This figure is Awesome IMO, hate how all the Kong Studio/Beast Deity Meat Riders are saying this figure is Trash, makes no sense in my opinion Also, Great Review, as always 💪
Looks nice. Makes me excited for the inevitable official by Bandai. I hope that Bandai improves on the ankle articulation, though. It's the one part I would consider is kinda lacking on both this one and the Kong version.
Hello new sub here! Very awesome review. I know that mostly every one thinks gohan was the first with the 3.0 articulation, i may be wrong but wasn't ss4 goku the first to have the new articulation? Really looking forward to all your videos. Thank you.
Thanks and great question! You're right SS4 Goku is 3.0 and before Gohan. First 3.0 depends how you classify it. I go by the new style hips and shoulders, which by my count puts SS4 Goku 6th and Gohan 10th, but let me know if I miss anyone: 1) FP Broly 2) Ikari Broly 3) Jiren 4) FB Jiren 5) Cooler 6) SS4 Goku 7) ToP 17 8) ToP 18 9) Krillin ESM 10) Gohan SH

Personally find Kongs 3.0 body much better for articulation. The way they did their shoulder joints offers superior articulation to both this DF Goku and 3.0 Gohan. Unfortunate the df goku has hard plastic sleeves. Really need soft parts for it. Even the gohan had soft parts. With the kong having even softer sleeves, which was a good thing. Also the drop down shoulders being as insanely good on the Kongs also helps it get poses the other 2 could only dream of replicating. Overall though fantastic figure, a must needed base Goku update imo. Just the articulation could of been better. Hopefully they'll improve with the Gohan and 3.0 UI Goku.
I think both work well enough. Kong soft shoulder pads give slightly more mobility, but have other drawbacks like moving out of position and slight color diff compared to hard plastic shirt.

Just curious about this but would the belt from SROE or Super Hero Goku fit on the Martialist Forever?

you can just swap the neck pegs of gohan and this goku to swap the heads perfectly
