I have a handheld FLIR camera that I use for work a few times a year. In the summer my daughter's hamster got loose and was able to track it by it's footprints on the carpet to a closet. Coolest thing I've done with it though.
Awesome Video! I worked for an Electric Utility and trained as a (Level II Thermographer) to use an Early FLIR 595 Camera that cost 50K. Ran it 5 years until we upgraded it to a newer unit for half of that price. Finding hot connections on Electrical Equipment before they causes Power Outages was very satisfying work. I want a Thermal Drone someday!
I’m a RPIC at a Casino Horse track in Indiana, we have a matrice 200 v2 and a m210 rtk we borrow, would love to make a video with you chasing race horses

Thermal technology is incredible. I’d love to have a thermal drone but couldn’t justify the cost and risk of loss for shits and giggles. I have a Pulsar Helion handheld monocular and it is astounding what can be seen. It makes you feel like you have some kind of superhuman abilities.
It was awesome watching this video Ken, it seems like last month, thanks for posting and bringing back memories. Unfortunately that drone got into powelines in florida no fault of mine and is no longer relevant. The dji mavic enterprise advanced is almost as good for 7k. Hopefully we can meet up again one day. 👍

Because of as concerning to the high/big building, can we apply this perspective to detect the leaked water inside building/concrete? If so then how? Thank in advance. I do hope to see your explanation in the next video.
Awesome piece of equipment, but considering I paid only 6 grand more for my 2017 F250 4WD.... I'm gonna stick with my inspire 2, and mavic 2. Thanks for sharing Ken, always appreciate it.
@4:20... I don't understand why the XT is compatible with the Inspire 1, and not the Inspire 2. It seems like it should have been a natural progression.
Those drones are huge. I am currently using a mavic mini myself. Much smaller than the matrice drones, but they are usually easier to set up and fly. Less noisy compared to the bigger drones too. Though right now I am only flying as a hobbyist.
I have a FLIR Boson 4.9mm 640 60hz12um fitted to a Phantom 3 Pro! Had it on my p4pro , but the p3pro has proven a better platform for night flights with it (1 vid on my channel)
$30K worth of airborne anxiety 😳 but one heck of an awesome looking package 😁 🤔 if the phone can see a pupper pee, I hate to know if that camera can see who had beans 😳
Couldn't you just get an expensive thermal camera and put it on a normal DJI drone? Save the price of a Chevy Malibu? A buddy spent 4 grand on a thermal scope for his rifle that uses his cell phone as a hot spot so when he is hunting in Illinois I can watch the hunt from the scope's perspective on an app on my phone in Indiana. That might be cool on a drone. Just tape the scope and a cell phone to a Mavic Pro or an Inspire. I'm sure this has more features though.
