Those sound fantastic. I’m still playing my Sound Formula set from many years ago. All around great Cymbals.
Wish I could afford these. Would be great for the usual rock club gigs and recording. I have the PST7s for now, they do the trick at a great price point.

That`s the type of sound, brilliant, great opening and moderate decay some day I`ll get for my drumkit. Legendary sound for every mainstream recording or on stage drumming situation.

I've actually had dreams about the Fast Crashes.
I went later that day to teach, and bought the 16 and 17 crashes I still have today. That was probably around 99/2000
Happy owner of Signature, Giant Beat and RUDE cymbals for decades now. Paistes just blow all others off their cymbal stands. One of my favorites is my 19" Signature Full Crash.

Back in the late 80's I let other drummers use my kit on a jam night. My favourite cymbal at the time was my 18" Formula 602 medium thin crash, which one of the other drummers managed to crack and ruin for me. I couldn't get a new one, the closest I could get to it was a 18" Signature, I can't remember the weight, but it was just as awesome.
Loved my formula 602's and the Signatures are ever bit as awesome.

I have a full set of 2002s and all I can say is WOW
They sound almost as good as Zildjians !! 💥
I have some Signature Series cymbals on my kit. Given the fact I've played live and recorded primarily deathmetal, blackmetal, and punkrock for the last 9 years (I've been playing 30 years overall) I only use Paiste. Paiste is THE brand for aggressive drumming as far as I'm concerned.
In addition to having a piece from the Sound Formula, 900, Alpha, and Twenty lines, I'm using:
14" Signature Heavy Hi-Hat
20" Signature Dry Ride
19" Signature Full Crash
16" Signature Fast Crash
10" Signature Reflector Splash
10" Signature Series Splash
Nothing beats Signature hi-hats, crashes, and splashes. I love the rides and chinas, but Paiste's best rides and chinas are in different lines.
In the next few months I'll switch out my ride, both chinas, and 2nd hi-hat for:
22" 2002 Classic Ride
18" Rude China
14" Rude Blast China
13" Signature Dark Crisp
Hi-Hat
Once I do that, and I add a
12" 2002 Splash, I'll have the sound I REALLY want!
I just bought this set. They fit in nicely with my 2002 set and K sweet set. My cymbal life is now complete 🫡
Best cymbals in the world. Great drummer, too...although he bears a resemblance to a slightly melted John Krasinski.
Paiste .. always an experience?
I challenge anyone to find BETTER sounding cymbals than those!!!!???? I really like other cymbal companies cymbals and am not putting them down. I just don't think these can be beat? They can be as good, close to, and sound awesome. But BETTER than? I don't think so?
See I changed to Paiste because of the excellence of how their made is a step above. I love 2002's, and usually my favorite a Formula 602 originals. But when he hits these Signature's with the bass drum it is So Perfect of a sound!!!
