Thanks for this video I followed your video and saved $350-$400 dollars with your video. The cost of Marvel Mystery Oil was $6.00.Thank you.
This video saved me $300! Thank you
Thanks! This worked to it's fullest I followed the directions word for word
Worked like a charm. I was using lawnmower when smoke started coming out. And shut off. Changed the oil (completely black almost gray). Replaced carburetor, spark plug with a kit. Flushed the gasoline. Still wouldn’t turn on. Tried this and worked. Bit of smoke at the beginning but now runs like new. Thank you.
Ahhh....that "Mystery Oil!"....it's magic. Cool video. I'm going to try this on my hedge trimmer.
Hey, thanks for your video man. All of you people out there who put knowledge out for the world do use to benefit us means a lot more than money so thank you.
Thank you so much worked in 5 minutes after i used your method
Thank you for this video! worked perfectly. I literally used a spoon 😂
Did everything just as you suggested and - It Worked!! Thanks!
My push mower blade suddenly locked up upon trying to start it & won't start. Freed up the blade and tried pulling the rope many times and got nothing. I wonder if it's a compression problem? Up until now it started first crank for years. Thanks for your suggestions!!!
Remember to hold the lever on the handle bars down to disengage the engine brake, (that happened once when I thought it was seized 😅)
Thank you for this video it fixed my ceased motor even with lawn mower oil...you are a 💎
Saved a brand new mower. It had been run with no oil and froze up. Fixed it in 15 minutes!
Mine is a riding mower and is seized up and won't turn I hear a click and wine like it gonna turn but won't move. Was this your issue? And where did you do same as this video?
What if you do all that and it pulls 5 or 6 times and then locks bk up again please help
Thanks!!!!! I’m going to try this.
I think I should have watched this before apparently killing my lawn mower.
I just need this to work on a motorcycle engine that got rust ridge. Im letting it sit a month
Whoever is curious, it worked after a month and a half and a breakerbar with a cheater on it. Directly on the sprocket bolt
@@kilowatttheorignal that is awesome
He'll yea thanks 😊
If you don't fix whatever locked it up the first time you're just waiting for it to lock up again - maybe with a lot of broken aluminum.
Maybe it was just a lack of oil, let's be a little positive here.
That's not always the case seizures mostly come from overheating from friction and lack of lubrication or a worn out beaten up old engine recommend deep penetration oil to keep them old Briggs running
@@RUclipsrdeportadoyeah! I've been overwhelmed with family issues and just have neglected checking/changing oil... so that's more than likely what the problem is...if this works, I know time is short....
.... can I use PB blaster instead?
What size socket did you use
To turn the engine
This probably only works because there's little difference between a "good" and "damaged" Briggs & Stratton engine at the best of times - they are always crap engines that somehow manage to run.
As a former mechanic myself dont let your engine get seized like this cuz all you have now is a fancy paperweight
Capt obvious
It's running?
@@rustyshackleford3320 yes after ten hours of wrenching on it found out a stick got lodged in the block not sure how but it happened
@@Killerthemerc ok true, Yeah maintenance goes along way and keeping it put up
@@rustyshackleford3320 yup it's an old craftsman lawnmower so I have to service it every year to make sure it stays running cuz good lord how expensive mowers are these days
