Next year he played all 82 and averaged 20 ppg, 5.8 rebs, 3.5 asts and 1.7 stls on 45% shooting. So in other words he was still an allstar level player, don’t let the younger fans fool you, the film exists he was still a very good player on both ends.

LeBron, I'm convinced, is protected by the league so he plays as long as possible and keeps injuries to a minimum. Just look at all of the uncontested dunks and layups he gets. No one truly plays hard, physical defense against him. They mostly just stand by and let him through when he drives to the hoop.
