Plus more all stars and 1st teams with scoring titles etc. See people like to say no we go off what’s there. Bs bc this truth shows the even more potential he had. Also you don’t count on injuries with a man who never had them plus played through shit players today would sit for less. Hell they already sit out just bc or rest is the excuses. We all know his mentality too. He likes to play ball, he was competitive in everything, and he like others back then respected the fans who showed up to watch them play. He knew someone in the crowd might only have one chance to watch their game live. They also knew the privilege they had to play a GAME and earn money

MJ played between 38-40 for the Wizards. He was injury riddled and coming out of the Executive seat for two years and suited up for basketball. In his first season he was slowly getting back into shape and his numbers reflected that, I believe he was on pace to get really close to his 98 bulls numbers before suffering a knee injury.
You should watch Michael Jordan's underrated years as a wizard here on RUclips by Jonny Arnett, it's a great video.

the best part is his game is 100% skill. None of these ugla *ss drives you see today where people are awkwardly stumbling into the defenders chest and dragging their feet around and throwing up some awkward garbage in hopes of a foul call. No trying to run people over and get cheap contact. No bs 8' step back jumpers. No sitting in the corner and waiting for someone to create an easy shot for you. Jordan was just pure in your face, 1 v1, basketball artistry.

Someone may have already said this, but let me put the Wizards years in context.
That first year, Jordan was out of shape, playing on a bad knee, had problems with his shooting hand and had his ribs broken by Ron Artest over that summer. During that first year of the Wizards stint, he was averaging 25 ppg and was close to 30 ppg for that stretch before injuring his knee, getting surgery and having to shut it down. I would really liked to have seen Wizards Jordan in his 1998 shape.

Ask yourself a question if the dudes in the past were plumbers, teachers etc and todays athletes are in so much better condition ...why all of the load management? what your generation calls more skilled is not accurate take a look at the lack of defense being played, the wide open lanes the lack of post up moves, Adam Silver has gutted the game and turned it into a shell of what the NBA use to be. This is coming from a fan since 1989 and I do understand that Lebron is what you guys know but Jordan was the greatest I had saw as well but we as a generation understood Magic, Bird, Kareem, Oscar, Russel and many others were on that list without the disrespect of calling those guys who paved the way plumbers and shit. You young guys sit on the shoulders of generations that came before you as my generation sat on the shoulders of those who came before us. Just food for thought, keep educating yourself :)

He averaged 22.3pp 6Reb and 5Ast in 2001 and 20PPG 6Reb and 4 Ast in 2002 after not playing for 4 years. On two bum ass knees after having surgery, he was still busting everybodies ass. So he basically accheived all of his career accolades wihile missing six seasons total 2 of which were right in the Middle of his prime when he was only 29& 30. Imagine he very possibly would and I think have had a 3 peat in the 1st half and instead of only another 3 peat got 5 consecutive Rings in the 2nd half of his Bulls Career. Thats why he is and will forever be the 🐐 and its not even close or up for debate...

Do remember that in 2001 scientific rehab like it is today was barely a thing. Data led rehab was barely a thing. Advanced recovery didn’t exist.
So if Mike had access to what Bron has had for a decade - Mike would have had the exact same longevity and bounce, if not more than Bron.
