Awesome build out! I can tell you did this with a lot of thought and planning. Your precious van life experience paid dividends. You are going to thrive in this thing.

  • @loveme77527

Its like the old Jed but even better!!❤️

  • @freedompanda9438

You’ve got great ideas, your perspective is rock solid, and you’ve obviously lived in small spaces. I’ve lived in a converted school bus for 7 years, and taking my job on the road, purchasing my 4Runner in the next month or so. I’ll possibly see you out there, keep my eyes open for you. Subbed! ✊🏼

  • @jkranzfire

Mom said "Honey I'm buying you a frig because you need to eat." Typical mom move, haha.

  • @paullarusso3760

Great video, I just got a 5th gen 4Runner and can’t wait to get off-road in it.I would love for my first mod to be side window MOLLE units if you still have the extra set. Thanks for the content. Paul

  • @curlyslots

I would love to have the side panels..just starting out. Great system.

  • @LindraParadise

Yayayayay! Im so glad your gettin on the road again 👏🙌

  • @burghdewd

I have to work another 10 months and then I'm out dude. I've been thinking about how I'm going to build out my Jeep Grand Cherokee and decided that simple is best. Thanks for showing your gear, that really helps me.

  • @elementgypsy

I like the roof rack. A guy named Rob Deezy makes cool racks, ladders etc. I think he's in OR.

  • @fscottgray9784

Get a electric chain saw. I use a milwaukee 18 volt cordless. Recharge the battery with your Ac180. Once you get some electric battery tools it will open up many other solutions for overlanding.

  • @ThatBobGuy850

Well, well, well...great to see our favorite RUclipsr again. Jed, you were among the very first nomads that I subbed to. This build really is awesome. Bunch of great products! Obviously, you've learned a lot over the years about what works in a small space, and this 4Runner is the culmination of your accumulated knowledge. Imagine what you could do with something a little bigger...like, oh...an Astro van? Kidding. We look forward to all of your vids, but especially seeing you get back on the road full-time. (Stay single this time, willya?)

  • @BushRat253

Looks great man! Stoked to see you uploading again!!! Arizona seems to be a great spot for nomads. Lots of open areas and cheap land. I feel your pain living in the PNW.

  • @johnhenry7010

Hey, can tell you put lots of thought and work into your build, good to see you making videos again, Stay Safe out there....

  • @nicolelacy4527

    LOVE YOUR SET-UP. And vehicle

  • @brian_abroad

Hey Jed, thanks for the update-keep’em coming. I like the “ruff” simplicity of your build. This is my second winter in SE Arizona. Coldest temp this winter was 24 degrees and last winter was 17 degrees, snow melts the same day. The cold feels different in this drier climate than say Cape Cod. I use electric heat pads to stay warm (I’m cheap). Lots of State Trust Land here and permit is only $16 for the year or there’s BLM land. Be safe!

  • @shooterchief

Heck yeah bro!!!!! That’s an awesome build out! I like when you said, living in your car allows you to buy the nice stuff that works every time! Haha I’ve built my van out 3 different times and the last time I built it like a miami condo, all the best stuff!! 🤣 your default pic is so epic, that canopy has got to be dope!!!!

  • @johnwebb2232

Sweet build, I don't know if you're awning does it, but I have a 2016 4runner trail with a rhino rack batwing awning that I can zip on four walls and have a mr buddy heater inside there and it it gets reasonably warm in there. I also have the same setup as you do with the mollie side and shelve inside. Good luck with your build, and be safe out there. Love my 4runner.

    Happy travels to you 😘
