Brand new to the channel, and love it. What's with the critical comments from some people? You literally clicked on a video about items that you can buy for camping.
A very nice, neat, presentation - which is an accurate parallel to you and your lifestyle. Well done, and you seem to have nice things and keep them nice 💗
Thank you very much! We're so glad you enjoyed it! If you're ever able to get a Scamp or similar fiberglass trailer (we have an Escape from Chiliwack, British Columbia), you won't be disappointed. Highly recommend! Our is nearing 15 years old and still feels/looks brand new! 😊 Happy Camping!
I can attest that the jump starter is probably one of the most important tools you can bring. I went solo car camping for the first time in Joshua Tree over this last Christmas, and wasn't thinking about my car's battery life. Left the doors open too long on the first morning and my car died. Thankfully, my neighbor in the campsite had one of those jump starters, and was able to help me out. I went into town that same day and bought one of my own. Thank goodness I wasn't wild camping with no one else in sight, or it would have been really bad. Thanks for sharing this list. It will definitly be helpful as I test out my own camping gear and figure out what I do and don't need.
We've had a couple scares ourselves, in places with no cell service and no one around to help. A device like this is a definite must have. Leaving doors open too long is easy to do and cold weather can affect weak batteries too. Thanks so much for watching, we are so glad you found it helpful. Happy Camping! 🌲
Those crush lamps are great. I also use those Thermo-bug killing whatever lanterns. Love the collapsible sinks. I’m actually finishing the pullouts for my box in the back. I’ve tried to camp out of my suburban, but I just can’t get comfortable in there. I use a queen sized cot bed with a 6” memory foam mattress and a 10 x 10 pop up. I use a bucket with bags and a toilet seat. I’ve been a backpacker since I was 15, and have accumulated multiple mess kits over the years. I have the same stove you use (propane or butane), as well as one of my smaller backpacking stoves. I also keep a nylon tarp for an awning (can’t pull the trigger on one of those fancy expandable ones…yet). I’m working on a DC shower system that will give me a real good, hot shower. And I have one of those collapsible shower tents. I’m gonna make a roll up wooden floor out of some oak I’ve got lying around. I have a 27’ travel trailer, but sometimes it’s just better to go light. Thank for the video. 😁👍
It sounds like you have an awesome camp setup! Already owning backpacking gear, is ideal. We've been thinking about something like a Thermacell for mosquitos. Which one do you use? Sleeping in the vehicle has been process of trial and error over the year and a work of art to be sure we are comfortable and cozy. We've found making sure the vehicle is level, front to back & side to side helps a lot for the bed setup to be more comfortable and being sure we have plenty of room to stretch our legs too. We are still working on our shower setup, it's quite primitive but works for us (we love the roll up wooden floors). Our kids have the Joolca shower setup - I'll try to get some video of it next time we are out camping together. We've been helping them work on an impressive, overland 4Runner setup! Thanks so much for watching - Happy Camping!
This is so helpful! We are full time travelers and we are getting ready to do some spring cleaning, decluttering, reorganizing, and sprucing! Definitely using many of these storage ideas!
I have a collapsible sink that we use in our camper. I love it. Even has a removable drain plug thing. I use it a lot. I do like your mesh window covers. We have a door "tent" for our hummer. We've used it a couple times. Yours looks much easier to use. Love those little lights. Those are too cute. I like your toilet. We have a small collapsible that we take along with us on our overlanding/tent camping adventures. Great list of items.
Thanks so much! The mesh window covers work really well. They are really easy and I also like that the storage bag is pretty small too. I'm so glad you liked our list of favorites. Have a great day! 😊
Great info. I love it when others (who also have a limited budget) do all the shopping work. My Amazon camping wish list just got longer. Thanks a bunch.

Thanks so much, I'm glad you got some ideas for your next rig! We love the simple, camping setup. It's taken us to some really great places. Miss you & love you too!😊
Greetings, first time watcher. I enjoyed your video on tips for suv camping. This will be my 2 year of camping in my CRV. Will be tent camping mostly with staying in my suv as backup. I like your recommendations on space saving products and because my CRV is smaller than your Pilot, I need to make the most of my space. The only advantage is that I only have to deal with one person, me. Looking forward watching more of your videos. Thank you for sharing👍.
Welcome aboard and thanks so much! I'm happy to hear the video was enjoyable and helpful. I love sharing inspiration & ideas so there will be many more videos to come. Your setup in the CRV sounds great; making the most of the space is key and designing it as a custom setup just for you, is the best part! Have fun, Happy Camping! 🌲
I had been looking for that folding stool .. saw it on another channel and then forgot about it. I have a square folding toilet that I got with my camper but it has only one use and it's not user friendly. So thanks for that. It arrives Monday! Did like your showing the use of each item .. good video. I have a Toyota Tacoma with a 4wheel camper and enjoy seeing what others do.
Thanks so much! We love sharing ideas and inspiration, so I'm glad you found some things you've been looking for. We love seeing other setups as well - yours sounds fantastic! 👌 Happy camping! 🌲
Thanks so much! 😊 We use two, very small, usb rechargeable fans that also work with a power source like a battery bank. They are not big enough to actually cool a space but do create nice air movement across the face. This is the one we use: ► Portable Fan:amzn.to/3Nu10eA (to use it all night, a portable battery bank would be necessary - I think it runs 2-6 hours on it's internal battery depending on which speed setting is used). I'll leave a couple links in the description for ideas - but try searching for something like 'usb rechargeable' or 'usb powered desk fan'; something like this: ► amzn.to/3VNV7NX (full disclosure, we have not used this one, it's just an idea to use as a reference point). Hope this is helpful. 😊

Just discovered your channel - very well done and now you have a new subscriber! The attic cargo net is what I have been looking for, but your links seem to show a different product, not the one you show on your ceiling. Can you double check and add please?

Thanks so much! We are using (2) Milliard single sized, trifold mattresses, side by side (25"x75"x4"). I'll add a link in the description. amzn.to/3TYXr3x We have trimmed some off the end, to shorten it to fit to keep the kitchen build in place (in sleep mode) and keep the front driver/passenger seats in "drive" position. We are short, so it works for us. If you are taller, adjusting the front seats would be necessary to get all or most of 75" of mattress to fit depending on your vehicle. Without the build in place, all 75" fits, no problem. Hope that's helpful. 😊
Great question, I'm glad you asked. The pellets act as layer in the bottom of the bag to soak up liquid, they smell like pine. The powder is a solidifying agent. We don't bury them. I should have explained it more in the video, sorry about that. 😊
@@frankenstein3163 We tried kitty litter. It was heavy and I didn't like the 'fragrance'. The pellets or the powder are by far the best we've tried. The solidifying powder is our favorite especially while traveling and you only need to use a very small amount. If we are setup at camp, the pine pellets work great.
It's the Ignik FireCan with the 5lb growler tank. We love them, they are small & compact but they're not budget-friendly, so I didn't include them in this video. I added links to both items in the description. Thanks for watching! 😊
@@BabygirlAndTheBeastit gives them a few cents in exchange for the work and time they put in making the videos people enjoy watching. -And it doesn’t cost you anything.
I don't see the point of collapsible bowls and containers. We have a €1 plastic bowl and use it to carry cleaning materials, so it is a storage container. We have a set of tupperware containers which fit inside each other, €4 for 5 containers taking the space of one. I do like the bug screen though. Microfibre towels are no good, they don't dry you, that's why the dry so quickly. Pot noodle is not a meal. Instead of a shovel, I use a flat ended machete, does everything a spade does, plus it cuts stuff and offers protection. Why do you need so many lights? You spend all that money and talk of saving money on one item.
@@cocacolafiesta ...and I am not telling anyone to do what I am advocating. My costs are a fraction of yours so there is now a lower cost choice, with reasons. I am not saying you are wrong, these sites are to give us all ideas. I am on my third camper and had this one for 8 years. I would like to find your mozzy nets, as mine are held on with magnets.
All this stuff looks great!!!! And everything so easy to store!! 🌷 Except The black fold-out toilet. Have seen a couple people showcase it. 🪻For me It seemed flimsy. It did not seem real sturdy. Did not like it. ☘️Thank you again. Definitely will get everything else on the list!!!!

Great question, I'm glad you asked. The pellets act as layer in the bottom of the bag to soak up liquid, they smell like pine. The powder is a solidifying agent. We don't bury them. I should have explained it more in the video, sorry about that. 😊
@@JC.Journey ok. My friend used kitty litter. But I don't think it worked as good as you're options.
Well done.
Thanks so much! 😊
thx !!!
You bet! Thanks for watching! 😊
Excellent..
Thank you! 😊
What firepit are you using?
It's the Ignik FireCan with the 5lb growler tank. We love them, they are small & compact but they're not budget-friendly, so I didn't include them in this video. I added links to both items in the description. Thanks for watching! 😊
Your video was nice, but you forgot to tell us where you purchased your nice drawers in the back of the car. That’s just what I’ve been looking for.
Thank you very much! We designed and built the drawers ourselves.
Awesome
Thank you! 😊
Hey, I have that shitter !
Space-saving gear is a game-changer for camping adventures. We sent you an email, check it out.
This seems like an ad for Amazon.
It all seems like too much. I think you could make do without half that stuff. It’s like: what else can we buy?
TBF if they used an ai voice I'd prob still watch it 😂
It IS an ad for Amazon -- they earn $$$$ if you click on their links and buy ANYTHING, doesn't have to be one of their items!
That’s like saying “this is like an advertisement for television.”
Amazon has everything now. Any product you see on earth is available on Amazon.
@@BabygirlAndTheBeastit gives them a few cents in exchange for the work and time they put in making the videos people enjoy watching. -And it doesn’t cost you anything.
You used to have such a clean aesthetic, now it looks cheap and cluttered.
😎 ✌️
That craper is crap you will fall in.
You spend all that money and talk of saving money on one item.
you may not see the need but many might. No one is telling you to do so and if it’s not for you then so be it. Say thanks and move on!
Wow 😳🤦♀️
@@cocacolafiesta ...and I am not telling anyone to do what I am advocating. My costs are a fraction of yours so there is now a lower cost choice, with reasons. I am not saying you are wrong, these sites are to give us all ideas. I am on my third camper and had this one for 8 years. I would like to find your mozzy nets, as mine are held on with magnets.
@@allanb52 well, it just seemed by the tone of your response that you were undermining her suggestions.
@@cocacolafiesta That's it they are suggestions and all these things are subjective. I think the world is too sensitive.
Thank you! 😊
Thanks!
You bet! Thanks for watching 😊
