I had no idea this was the reward of this little footnote Miscellaneous Quest. They really should have made this something more front and center, this is a good item! Especially in Survival Mode!
What's odd is the "Prep School" mission never actually comes up on screen (like say, Quartermastery or other quests). You just have to kind of know what Kessler is referring to when she says "You've got land of your own...".
Brilliant, I haver played Fallout 4 for along time and never found this. I use Sim Settlements 2 and now I can try this added into the mix, thanks also a new subscriber.
Don't think you mentioned this, but this quest isn't available at first. You have to speak to Deb (female merchant in blue jumpsuit) and do her quest to clear the National Guard Training Yard of ghouls. Then she mentions Kessler is looking for help. allowing you to speak to Kessler for the Zeller quest
Thank you! A bit elementary I know, but so many people asked I realized many people may not realize this was a thing (partly due to the fact that the game never expressly tells you about it).
I've only built the trade caravan post once in 9 years of playing Fo4 and that was just to use the cinder block portion of it in my Home Plate vid. I didn't even trade with the traders it gathered, unless you count the rounds I traded for their souls to keep them from interrupting my video filming. Anyway, nice job with the video. I'm sure there are lots of newer players who are not yet aware of how to unlock this. Also I never realized it doesn't require cloth concrete or ceramic? Perhaps the "C" key was broke on the devs keyboard?
Ha! Well, one of my favorite things is seeing a settlement "come to life" so I guess that's part of why I love this piece so much. I also love how the aesthetics of it can act as a foundation to build around. Thx for watching, Sheck!
@@BWTF_Ben Because I tend to overbuild having too many NPCs often creates lag. Then there's the issue of them always standing in my way. I do agree they do add a lot of life to the video tours.
These questions just go to show that Fallout 4 is still a sought after game and also why it still so popular, I always find my way back to playing it, it doesn't appear as though Bethesda will ever find their way back to making games like this, I just don't have the feel to play Starfield these days and the time I posted this comment Shattered Space DLC is out and even though it's in my library, I have not the urge to play it. I'm currently just now upgrading to the Next Gen and going through my mods getting FO4 ready to play again, on PC.
This character (Furiosa) has been my standby character for almost two years. She's maxed out on virtually all perks including the scavenging ones. I find Fuel Cells everywhere thanks to that.
@@BWTF_Ben my game is from 3 years and I don't remember what happened but bunker hill is cleared and no one is there , any other way to build the caravan post ?
@@ScuffedFGO I have not done a Vault 88 build in a while. Here is my old build blog (from way before I built the way I do now): www.wonkosgeekery.com/blog/fallout4/fallout-4-vault-88-build
I didnt know this quest or item existed because i dont spend much time around bunker hill? Why? Because every time i go there, my game friggin crashes.

Thanks for this information, didn't know it was an option, can't wait to implement it into my build. New subscriber here

I always go in the side door 😅 Love doing this quest. Fun times! 🎉

@@toakongu1 You are correct. I included that in the video description.
good tip!

I really hope FO5 gets us back to this level of game development (with proper advancements).
Im down bad for fusion cells dude how did you get so many (great video btw helped me a lot)

This quest hasn't triggered for me in my latest playthrough. I thinking I just didn't go through all of Deb's dialogue yet.
@@SuperTimsSettlements Be sure you did Deb’s quest first. :)
Idk if it's working for me cause I have bunker hill workshop and I have cleared the school.but I can't use the caravan post

How did you place the over hang for the bus entrance?
Build the roof piece on the ground, then pillar glitch it into place against the bus. :)
And what is the build up to GET this quest?
At Bunker Hill specifically? The only one I know of is completing "Traffic Jam" by Deb. fallout.fandom.com/wiki/Traffic_Jam

Ack, I'm sorry. You're not the first person to mention this.
