I've seen people use thick craft paper, scrunched, then smoothed, and torn into pieces to get a very textured paper mache look.

Use newspaper and you won’t need so many layers when doing papier-mâché. Perfect if you are going to paint it anyway.

You might have tried a white tissue paper which would have given you more texture. Just a thought.
Why didn’t you use strong oven cleaner on the wood and then you just scrape it off? It really does work and it gets rid of deep embedded stains Perhaps you will try it someday it really really works. I promise. Love you show thank you.
Olive Atelier started selling on line but its only. about 10 items and most are high dollar. They usually sell out within five minutes though.

Do you believe the stories they tell about where their pieces come from? I have a Very difficult time believing 90 percent of them. I Love what you did with your pieces, the terra cotta pot in particular, it's stunning.
I’ve only read one article on how they source their products but I’m also skeptical on how they sustain that
@@angelajonesdiy Exactly. Almost all their wood stuff looks pickled, or has the same look. Their pottery has more variation but it's all perfect, which doesn't match with their claims of where it came from. IMO
