Welcome to the Internet.
coffeemachtspass its not an insult, lets call it a fact! Americans always post the most cringiest comments as if they are beyond desperate! You see most people believe they can post whatever they like since no one is looking.. I have some great American friends but most of them are above 50 (I am not :) ) the reason I like old people is they are not as desperate as younger generation.
Sa No I’m American and I don’t do half the stuff you guys claim to say
+coffeemachtspass Trump is fucked up but the Trump voters made the smarter choice in this election. Clinton voters who think all Trump voters are stupid are the real idiots in your country. Just my two cents :)
I can imagine Genaro yelling and screaming as you pour out the pasta water down the drain. "SAVE THE PASTA WATER FOR THE SAUCE!" XD That tomato sauce looks amazing.
I just had a CheeseSteak Sub and thought I was satisfied until I watched this video. Dang!!!! Nice work, Gizmeister!
Yeah, but y'all spell it with a "J".
haha
Holy shit, the perfect British lady.
+Paul Levesque Guy She would be a blast
Besides that she isn't british?
the perfect fake lashes?

+MusikKritik are you a fucking idiot?....
Watching this at 3am and this makes me so hungry. Yum yum yum!
***** Did you not get the 3 am part? What sort of shops do you go to?
Same story here lol
Dusan Skurak 1 am for me lol
she reminds me of Audrey Hepburn
She’s not like her
8 years have passed, still one of the best dishes I do for the family and friends. Warm greetings from SAMARKAND.
"Razzle, dazzle, what also rhymes?"
Gizzi: *"Basil"*
I just made this for my family and everybody loved it! Tank you for this recipe!
I am offended!
Mostly because I'm hungry.
I'm Italian/American and I'm confused where the usual ingredients are especially for binding...eggs, bread or bread crumbs and of course grated cheese. We don't call them noodles we refer to it as pasta or macaroni.
sherry4488 you left out parsley and basil lol but I know and of course in Jersey it's called gravy not sauce and it's marinara sauce if the meat is not cooked in the sauce
Interesting twist! It looked delicious! Cooking is so much fun and you can turn traditional meals into your own! My husband and I are both Italian Americans, Our grandmothers have influenced and inspired most of the Italian food we eat and make . Both of our families had family dinner night on Sundays, which always had some kind of Macaroni and meatballs making an appearance. We would only use 1/4 of the garlic used in above recipe and no vinegar, we did dip our fingers in a little bit of vinegar before rolling the meatballs into balls. The one thing you didn't use is a bay leaf, so now you need to make a sequel! LOL!
Just wanted to say that I made this for the kids and they loved it! Many thanks! 😊
Wow! She looks even tastier than the meatballs!
You're right I am. How did you know?
dickbag
+christophermjakob you shut ur lowlife mouth

***** We need more of her.
***** Little messy!
Jizzy
a british woman cooking an american recipe of a italian dish :D
I think she's an Aussie based on her accent 😉
Use fresh finely chopped flat-leaf parsley and fresh oregano instead of rosemary and thyme. It is important to take white bread, crusts removed, or bread crumbs soaked in milk and add to the meat as this lightens the texture of the meatball. Egg is added as a binder. Grated parmesan is also added to the meat mixture. You can spice it up with some dried red chili pepper flakes added if you like. I also add a hint of ground nutmeg.
Agreed - perfect 👌🏻
As an "Italian italian" I feel compelled to point out that that kind of garlic amount is something totally un-Italian. Most italian-Americans have travelled over to the US in a different age, when garlic was one of the very few flavorings they were able to afford. Once in the US, the Italian cuisine started being known for the garlic and the use of garlic became a sort of badge that Italian Americans used to identify themselves. At the same time, the use of garlic declined here in Italy. Many people in italian cook with virtually no garlic and even those like me who love it rarely use more than one or two cloves in a dish like that. Also, seeing the pasta being drizzled with oil and, even worse, sprinkled with salt really hurt me. (Imagine me fainting while holding on to a curtain.)
I thought the same, and I am not even Italian, only German o.o
That's why this is ny style... Not Italian style, just saying.
thats why it has an american twist... its not just italian, its american italian.
I heard that italians never have garlic and onion together, is that true?
i know exactly what u mean :D
I gave it a try and love it...tastes so great. So glad that i found this video.. Thank you FoodTube, Jamie Oliver and Gizzi Erskine ;)
this lady does know how to play balls
Gizzi this is amazing! I am so going to make this.
Just finished making this. Added some chopped chillies to the sauce for extra kick. Thank you!!!!
I would've cooked those meatballs for more of a char, they looked a bit grey.
schmatever I was just about to comment that
schmatever same. must cook alot longer.
The pan was a little over crowded .
Love her!! That looks so so so good!!!!
I need to stop watching these in the evening. On the up side, I know what to cook tomorrow. Thanks, Gizzi!
It freezing in my city. Im 50.
It is Sunday 20.00.
But I am getting up to prepare ur recipe.
I had the best meatballs and past in nyc, before the end of the world.
Thank u.
I want to try this. Looks very yummy! Thanks for sharing!
Absolutely well done, it looks so nice!
loved it. thanks for sharing.
Quality. Love all your dishes so far on Jamies channel Gizzi.
Really great recipe, going try it out for sure! Thanks so much for foodtube keep the recipe coming! =)
This definitely had to be one of the best spaghetti and meatball dishes I've ever had. Definitely recommend!
I saw this today , and I immediately went to market for ingredients.
This is really great recipe , I enjoy it a lot , Thank you !
You shouldn't put oil on cooked pasta, it makes the sauce not stick to it and it really doesn't need it! :O apart from that looks good
I had this for dinner and OH MY GOD IT WAS AMAZING :0 ❤️❤️❤️
This video could not be more 1960's inspired if George Peppard walked in to the tune of Moon River.
I love it when a plan comes together!
This looks delicious.
Nice job!
I Mixed your recipe for the sauce with another recipe for the meatballs and I really love the sauce. I usually like the recipe with fresh tomatoes better! so thank you for this recipe!
That dish looks sublime. I love you Gizzi.
I just tried this recipe... It's Delicious.. Thanks for sharing it
Greetings from Egypt
Gizzi sounds so southern sometimes :) this looks delish! Can't wait to try!!
Well..,she is southern.
I meant southern like me :) southern United States
Didn't really pick up on that but I guess you would know what a southern american would sound like :)
:)
This is a my new pasta & meatball recipe. Amazing.
AWESOME!!!!! must try this!
Tried this tonight, it was really nice!! No complaints either. Another meal to add to the list!!
i think it's one of the best recipes on foodtube, honestly. i'm definitely making it tomorrow, maybe with some small adjustments, though. can't wait!
well thank you, it was easy to make and extraordinary delicious! i added some more spices, though, and used whole-wheat rigatoni. meatballs tasted fantastic, quite classical but not boring.
Love watching gizzi here, and her katsu curry recipe too!!!!!
Making me soooooooo hungry.
Every food channel has to eat in my face!!
Looks so good!
I cooked this and it is sooooo good!
This looks amazing! Good job! I want pasta now!! :)
Im a kid so love this channell as i love cooking! I think I'll cook this for my mum!
That pasta looks good. But Id go for Gizzi. She looks delish :D
proper meatballs are my absolute favourite! these look delicious ❤
A nice tip: when making meatballs like this I always like to deploy a good teaspoon of sambal badjak (that's Indonesian chili paste with fried onions) to the meat before mushing up and forming balls. Gives it just that little more spice, try it!
It looks delicious and I bet it tastes delicious too. As Gizzi pointed out, this is an Italian-American recipe from New York City. This is not a Roman recipe or Neapolitan recipe. Nothing ruins a nice Italian-American food video like Italians complaining that it's not truly Italian. If you don't like it, then you don't have to watch the video. I also love the fact that a pretty British girl is the one doing the cooking. Hooooray for globalism!
Gizzi, you look amazing, your recipe looks amazing so just keep them coming. Thanks :-)
You are a treat to watch and your recipes are just awesome and great homestyle food. Your videos are a complete package! James, Singapore
i LOVE the way you cook
looks amazing
If you're gonna pop them in the sauce/not use the fond from the meatballs then you might as just put the tray in the oven on a high heat to get the crust then joink em in the sauce. Saves dishes/time :O
Shh shh, it's a food channel. Just observe.
So, constructive critism isn't at place just cuz it's a food channel? (ok doubt the ppl in the channel will read this but others might)
+Zippr SHH SHH
Zippr well this is the internet
New York style meatballs with classic italian tagliatelli pasta... yummi ..the mamma will be proud of you girl.... Congrats!
***** Thank you for the opportunity.
Im gonna try this for lunch tomorrow because it looks so good
Wow this looks awesome!
That dish looks great!
Gizzi rocks! Love her style :)
Today I made this (as one of my first dishes that I made on my own) for my family, it was good :)
This is like the worst video you could watch in the middle of the night. While your fridge is completely empty xDDD It looks soooo good!
A tip? As I am a lazy/ impatient person... I microwave my meatballs for 3-5 minutes and then brown them in a frying pan. This way is a) quicker and b) easier because it eliminates the need for delicate/ frequent turning - you can just shake the pan! :)
i really like this lady!!! i like her 60s style too :)
Good recipe.I topped it of a little bit by adding dried Tomatoes and chile to the meatball mix,,,,,,great recipe.thanks Gizzi...
looks yuuum i try it this evening
Love her style of cooking. Lots of garlic is always a great idea. She is a natural! I am trying these babies out, today, for lunch, but with long rice, instead of noodles. Lots of love, Thea ;)
Excellent! The tastiest tomato sauce ever. I made it with rice, instead of pasta noodles. Jamie, if this is you, I am over the moon now ^_^
Pretty much how I like my meatballs, I'd leave out the rosemary and I do like to add a slice of milk soaked bread to make the balls a little less dense. Lovely sauce though.
Christ, her accent is all over the place.
Galactic123 Agreed. Cringe worthy, otherwise a good video.
Gang WJ Yeah it sounds odd when she says "pan" with a Southern sounding twang but she has an English accent the rest of the time. This looks a nice recipe though.
+Galactic123 what an ethnocentric statement.
I don't know what ethnicity has to do with national boundaries.
+Galactic123 lol, what do you want her to do, stop talking?
apsolutely love the 60s style!
exelente!!!!
I am cooking this right now. I am so excited. :D
Gennaro Contaldo would love this
Somehow I don't think so...
I just have the plain spaghetti n Rinaldi sauce for tonights spaghetti n meatballs im gonna make ,but I love the way u made yours and will love to make it like this the next time I cook this.thx for posting.
Extra yummy!!!!! definitely will be my lunch tomorrow!!!
this is the video that made me subscribe to this channel last year.
Oh my GOD I WANT SOME!
Alright guys I see your point about garlic and some other stuff but you must admit she is cute enough to ignore all those small problems.
I thank you Also taste it. Its bloody delicious
Gizzi Erskine I already added this video to Favorites, and thanks for the recipe !! By the way you are gorgeous and please next time try to put on a shorter skirt =))
brakaner Dude you're being creepy.
They aren't problems. This is what makes it the American style.
I feel like I shouldn't be making these since I'm 1/4 Italian and from America but your recipe looks really great. I might give it a try and let ya know if my Mom thinks they're good! ;)
Please do. Don't tell her the ingredients and just serve them and see what she thinks... xx
Looks amaze balls!!!
that looks gorgeous!
looks delish.
A brit lady that can really cook ..... Wow thanks for sharing your recipes and ideas .........
Amazing
Very groovy hairdo! Love it!
Cooking, the only art that you can taste, smell and see all at the same time. Isn't it the best one?!
Made this dish a week ago. Pretty good. Wasn't CRAZY about the sauce but it wasn't objectionable in any way. I do have a question though. Why no breadcrumbs or egg in the meatballs? Isn't that what keeps them together? Cheers.
it was amazing! Fantastic :-)
I wanted to try it but i don't have the confident to make it . ..
I'm making this, soo hungry can't wait to dive in 👌😷😎😍
Perfect meatballs recipe ever!!!
Question was she wearing pants under that apron
thats not an apron
Shane Hoseth well what is it
A dress man, LOL
thong
I've never made meatballs this way. We always add egg, little milk and breadcrumbs along with all our seasonings and grated cheese. Then the sauce gets flavored by the meatballs.
This is brilliant!
Looks nice, one for the recipe list
