I changed the O2 sensors on a 2001 Tundra and it was just as easy as it looked in this video. I also got my parts from 1A Auto. They arrived on time and were the correct parts!
I’m changing all four sensors with your sensor kit on my 01’ Tundra. I have two location 252-03E02 and two location 234-18D01. It would help us novices if you showed the location numbers and the corresponding location.. kinda hard to find diagrams online probably because I’m an idiot but thought I would see what you could do. Thanks!
+flavrdPnut With the upstream sensors they are not bank specific as long as they are in the upstream location. Same goes for the downstream. They make it easy on these trucks.

Do you have these for a 2001 Tundra 2wd 3.4 v6. If so do you have a link please. I just wanna sure I'm buying the right part.

Somebody has a new steering rack. Good video. Clips are a mother dodger to get to...
So do i need to change both driver and passenger side?? My codes are 2241 and 0420, thx
so how do you unplug bank 1 sensor 1 one handed? !!
Is that for bank 1 sensor 1?
Would the ones on a 2008 Tundra be a 22 MM socket
Great tips. My truck has two screws on the side so which sensor do i need to order?
Are your sensors on the rear of the exhaust pipes? Those are downstream sensors.
where is the air-fuel ratio heater circuit fuse in the diagram?

Thanks a ton for the video! I wonder who welded that downpipe at 4:00 tho...
no that bad
Did you just replace to replace them or were you getting a check engine. After everyone installed could they tell a difference?
Check engine. It’s a sensor, so not rreally much difference.
which side is bank 1 and bank 2? Is the driver side bank 1?
Driver's side is bankn1
Nice jump cut of you braking loose that sensor
Don't ever use aftermarket parts? Especially 02 sensors. Just use oe.!
Never liked mechanic and know in days has a adult i wish i would have learned it
Where can I find the socket for the o2 sensor or it doesnt really need a tool to remove
+bryant lopez Any local parts store will offer o2 sockets but it would be needed.
You can cut the sensor wires and use a 22mm deep socket, just one way to remove the O2 sensor with out a special removal socket
What was the Check engine code for this?
P0420. P0430
David Sherrill did it resolve the problem?
@@davidsherrill9121 p0420 is bank 1 sensor 1 right ?
Were is bank 1
+@marcelocastro3019 This sensor is located before the catalytic converter.
Yeahh right , why you do not take driver side ahahahah and you choise passenger side ahhhhhh bull shit
Yea u change the o2 sensor. But what sensor was ? 1 or 2 sensor ? Up or down stream? 🤔🤔🤔🤦🏻♂️
Upstream. The down stream is behind the cats. The one she changed was on the manifold.
she said upstream
