Born to loving parents, Ramkit was an average loving and adventurous kit who made many friends in the colony. A sudden change in the kits demeanor went unnoticed as he started to be plagued by vague and scary nightmares, leading Ramkit down a dark path. Any attempts to bring them up to his family were shrugged off and eventually Ramkit fell further into depression; convincing himself that these dreams meant something to try to justify them. He’d spend most of his time, if not out playing or finding flowers with friends, looking out to the deadlands waiting for…something. Whatever creature and death he saw in his dreams- they would be out there.
One late afternoon, Ramkit went out searching for flowers with a warrior called Scarletwish. They were close to the deadlands when, while out of Scarletwish’s vision, he ran off chasing what he thought was a butterfly- but in reality his sleep deprived brain hallucinated it. His paws crossed over the deadlands border and he felt right where he had been many times in his dream. Only this wasn't a dream. He was there and couldn't stop his paws from walking further and further until heavy, strained breathing in the distance made his blood run cold.
Coming face-to-face with some unknown monster, no screams or cries for help left in his wake.
Ramkit was never seen again.

Today I finally bring you Globes yippie!!! I started this around October last year but in between comic work and irl stuff, I gave up on it for like 5 months BUT recently I had a sudden burst of motivation to actually finish it. I’ve always loved the idea of a more story-based AMV/PMV they are so so cool but also very hard v__v Shout-out to my friends for putting up with me crying about this for the past months ily guys /jjj
Ramkit is from the RP my friends and I run!! Deadlands wake!! Ramkit got chomped MONTHS and months ago, but I still love him very much he's still super special to me. Think about him constantly…. Oh god, I almost got emotional. Being plagued by nightmares, sleep deprivation, constant fear, as well as being ignored by anyone you try to talk about it are bad enough... but he's a little baby. It makes everything so much worse. He still had his whole life ahead of him, yet he was hardly able to see the good side of it before all of that took over, and he was killed (most likely) by the very thing he was terrified of in his constant nightmares. No animation has ever made me want to cry as this did. Truly incredible work.

Aw this animation really got me uhhhh. It’s such a sad story made all the sadder by Ramkit’s cute expressions. I love the stylistic choice with the palette swap in his dreams then later it happens in real life with the butterfly it’s gorgeous. That monster design is so scary and haunting. Such an emotional tale I won’t soon forget.
THIS IS INSANE??? THE STORY IS AMAZING AND SO CLEAR, THE ANIMATION IS BEAUTIFUL AND THE CHARACTERS ARE SO COOL, AND GENERALLY THE VIBES OF THIS ARE AMAZING (poor ramkit :( )

DUDE THIS IS STUNNING i was instantly amazed by the tweening in the very first shots YOU POPPED OFF ON THIS ITS SO GOOOD gotta love an epic 4 minute amv about a character that dies before they even get to stop being a kid !!! the dedication is on point!!!!

omg the memories‼️ i havent interacted with like annyyy warrior cats media in years but i just suddenly got soo nostalgic remembering all the books and the hourrsss i should not have spent as a preteen on amino and warriors chat boards. thank you so much for making this its good to know theres still people so passionate about this integral part of my childhood and this is AMAZINGFF TOOO!!!! :D
This is so beautiful. The eyes are so detailed. The backgrounds are so magnificent. The emotion the characters show is so gut wrenching. I love this.

THIS IS SOME INCREDIBLE STORYTELLING. Super chilling and the build up of tension was exquisite!!
Ow my heart ;w; This was really touching AMV! I really love the storytelling in this♥ It is wonderfully executed and I shall see when my heart recovers from being wrecked so badly ÖDJLASDJ
HOWEVER, This is gorgeous!!^^ The story is easy to follow and has you hooked from the starting dialogue until the end! You can clearly feel for Ramkit and how he is feeling throughout the story Poor boy just needs a tight hug ;w; Such an unfortunate fate he had to face and what makes it more horrifying is that he faced it ALONE 😿
I also love the colors you have used between the reality vs dreams vs daydreaming/hallucinating!^^ The purples are so pretty, yet very ominous - it makes you question whether what you are seeing can be interpreted as the reality!
All in all - this is a gorgeous AMV and I am so glad the RUclips recommended it to me!^^ Keep up the beautiful work♥

Hey just want to say i was passing through, but man, what a HEART WRENCHING animation! The heart, the soul. Watching your memories of childhood blossom into adult fears and regret as it's all taken away.
I have a friend who's long had a oc who looked strangely just like your Ramkit! Same lynxy fur patterns, orange eyes, same marks, only difference is literally a brown nose vs black nose. Everything else from the fluff colors to muzzle colors to the rare orange cat eye colors (Had no idea how rare and specific it seemed until i looked) matched!
Though, they are natural lynxy inspired colors, And it seems like your character seems based on one too. He's kinda been in a spot where he wonders if metaphorically. To him, the little kitten reminded him of his childhood memories, being carefree, being part of the warrior clans in his own rps too (he wanted to be a deathknight at first at 18, but he got assimilated into "Druids are better at pvp!" "I want to be good at pvp!" "Druids aren't very epic!" "You can't rp as a deathknight in cat form, go rp with the warrior clans") antics lol.
He was a good friend and watching this video, we kinda both laughed around our silly little days. So much of childhood, our best friends could be made on the silliest things. Just meeting each other on the summer day, flying a kite.
He lost someone he tried for and things went really bad for everyone. He's kinda been in a odd spot he kinda relates to both the kitten as his childhood dreams/naiveity/characters. But also sees himself / adulthood as the creature who "killed" the symbol of childhood. Obviously the monster is meant to be evil here, but for his story.
The Little kitten kinda represents his childhood (Naivety, easily making friends, ignoring the warning signs, bright eyed, happy), his youth of life.
The "Monster" to him, kinda seemed to make him relate to who he "needed to be, for adulthood", (Every person for themselves, need to eat, even being the monster of other stories to survive in his). And he doesn't really look for sympathy, just pain.
Imagine what it might be like to be a tiger kitten, one day you played and played, there were smiles, you had no idea what you were meant to grow to be. All you cared about was that you had friends and you weren't "big and scary", all you did was play, laugh. And now you're the monster (in the eyes of the people you grew up with), you're no longer good for them. You need to live, fight for your life and eat.
And yet there's like a mental block where the monster doesn't "want" to win to him. It wishes it could loop over. That we could all spend our lives eternally repeating and looping the happiest moments of our lifes, without ever needing to grow up. Never "needing" to fight. Never seeing the people you grew up with seeing you as a monster.
Obviously it's a great animation and it likely represents your story in intent, or a different one to each person. But that's just how my friend saw it through his lens. He can be a pretty big softie or a terrifying papa wolf kinda guy.
And of course the monster could always symbolize adulthood as well. When we're kids, 20$ is the world, it could be a new sled, it could be a new toy, a trip to the laser park, a new toy. As adults. It might be 1/100th of the money a person needs for rent monthly. :/. And we're all pitted for survival. Yet the way the cards are lined up, Nothing the "monster" would do feeds the other and itself, yet to survive adulthood, we might need to become something our previous childhood selves would have all wanted to change. :/. But life works that way, doesn't it?
Like a cruel clockwork. No matter how much a tiger wished it could just go back to being a cub again, and repeat childhood more then it would want to devour the people it grew with, (or abandon them to starve). Time marches on us all. :/. It doesn't let us eat air, thoughts, and dreams. But if only we could. :(.
IM SCREAMING KIRI!!! THIS IS SO AWESOME AND EVERY WORD ASSOCIATED WITH IT!! The scene with the butterfly is my favorite part!! ALSO, the fact you can animate those elaborate designs and not go crazy is amazing!!
