- We thought it was a good marriage. But we were headed towards a breakdown without even knowing it.
As we had challenges, we really just swept them under the rug.
But what led us to the workshop was... I found myself in a limerent affair.
When I found out about the affair, it was the biggest shock. I never saw it coming. I remember feeling in those first days, like... what has been real?
Fear, doubt and suspicion has a way in crisis of clouding and keeping us from seeing what's on the other side. Look at the results, look at what marriage helper does. " I found myself in a limerant affair." BS. You say that as if you just woke up one day and there you were, having an affair. As if you don't know how you got there. You got there because you CHOSE to be an adulteress. That's the cold, hard truth. OWN IT. I'm glad you two have worked things out, I truly am, but that statement comes across as if you don't accept the responsibility for your actions.
She's sounds like my ex-wife. Has villified me. Makes me feel like our 20 years together meant nothing to her.

My wife of 20 years and mother of our daughter did same- affair, acted like forced to be home, didn’t go through divorce that the ap was pushing her to do I spent two years loving and forgiving and she’s just grown more and more angrier and harassing bringing up divorce and just beating me up emotionally- it’s a night mare and I did the work I always worked out, financially stable took family to vacations and she just went deep end and said we were fake didn’t care about our daughter r

lol - cheating wife tells her Chad AP that she's preggo and he splits so she goes back to her simp ex-husband and he takes her back. does that about sum it up? LOL

I was the spouse who wanted out of my marriage. We went in 2015. Things today are very good with my wife and I, so I'm very glad I didn't leave.
A study done a few years back conducted that 77% of couples who came through our workshop were still together (reconciled) 7 years later. We are actually in the process of conducting a new study of how the things we teach affect marriages. Stay tuned for more info on that in the future! Blessings!
I don’t want to sound negative, but my wife and I went to MH. A few months later she left. I tried calling MH to speak to one of the counselors, and after multiple unreturned calls and unanswered emails over several weeks, I gave up.

Beautiful story just that in my country the biological father's name would still be on the certificate after he files and proves hi is the current mate and she is single and he'll get to give alimony and visitation rights. Nevertheless is a glimmer of hope, here abortion is illegal and judges always pressume the husband is the father of the baby in his best interest , unless it has been arrange for helping a couple to have a kid that couln't have it any other way but he has to renounce his rights through a lawyer and notary
😭😭😭 we are in the same situation she's doing the same, I really love to reconcile with my wife but again obstacles and challenges to don't be together yeah 😭😭 because I don't want to be separated any more and I misse, her so much yeah not her sister only my women i miss so much 😭😭 even people put obstacles and challenges only to don't be together and to try to get back together again 😭😭 i miss her so much she's my wife off and even if people didn't let us to love each other I really wanted to go back together 😭😭 so much I miss here because I put so much heart and people misse used us for our because we love each other, IN the same situation I'm me I'm filling hoples because I miss my women and my daughter and to be together properly 😭😭 even people tried to make us what we are not, only because each other we really love one another I truly miss my women only her 😭😭 even if she cheated on me i letrally don't care i love her so much, because that the Lord Jesus Christ said to love and those who made us so much bad off

Not much back story on the causes of their marital schism (SOS everybody goes through ups/downs). Apparently they had/have several children? There is absolutely no justification for anyone to have an affair. It's amazing that after this woman completely scuttled her marriage, got divorced, she then she got pregnant by the AP. "It don't get much worse that this!!" She actually resented any thought that she was the major culprit in it's demise.
The so-called "affair fog" makes you stupid, but the pregnancy evidently knocked some sense into her head ( "her road to Damascus moment"). When she finally got to rock bottom, she was moved to reach out to her ex to explore the possibility to reconcile into a "new" relationship. Glad she got her mind right to make the connection. The husband (not claiming he was perfect- who is?) was certainly magnanimous to reconcile under these circumstances, and to raise another man's child. I do think the workshop's relationship skills/tools that they used as foundation for a new relationship are great, but they would be more helpful if acquired before inevitable marital conflict to avoid this type disaster. Too bad they didn't have some of these skills before the breakup. Glad they did reconcile. Was really happy to see the pictures of the reunited family at the end of the video. They are much needed examples of successful marital reconciliation for us all.
