I can confirm this still works. I do it a bit different as i only extract resources. On that note yes, you can do it slightly faster in offline mode. The problem is (at least for me) that i have significantly less GMP when offline so i was running out of money pretty fast. I'll keep upgrading the fobs so i can process these materials faster. Also i was happy to notice that doing it this way, you dont actually spend the 200 precious metals for the stealth camo every time you abort the mission. Nice!

@@trialtaker you took them before in a mission or in free roam. do 5 story missions and they will be respawned. replays count as well. when farming never finish a mission and never go out of the boundaries. just hit a checkpoint and ABORT.
@@trialtaker try playing for an hour then go try again. or go into free roam by the airport in africa and then select war economy. snatch all the containers and then hit a checkpoint outside the walls towards the starting point. then abort. I farm resources there all the time bc i dont have the max stealth camo yet just the 2 pp ones. I need lvl 60 R&D for that and im only at lvl 55 😢
I'm like 3% progress in story mode, somehow I don't think this will be easy for me lmao. Will be coming back here when I have progressed a bit more though, thank you man.

You need to have S rank in Materials Procurement (which is Automatic Processing). You can see your grade when you’re in the helicopter (main menu) open your iDroid > Go left to Mother Base > Hover over Staff Management > Go right until you get to Base Development Platform.

Glitchy-Rich - nothing disappears just don’t restart abort mission your fine. If you restart the mission the containers will despawn. follow what I do in the video it’s to easy to f*ck up
ultimagameboy - Yeah 10 Tanks Is 1 million GMP You Fulton 3 tanks per run. That’s 300k 600k 900k 1.2M in 4 runs if your grinding hard you can make 15M Easily
Or you could attack a decently equipped fob and make 5+ Mill in like 10 min along with resources and soilders lol. But nonetheless I appreciate someone still making content for this game.

1. Always drop near target area in free roam. 2. Elect mission. Go to start area and start mission. Do ur thang. Activate a check point. 3. ABORT MISSION. Rine roll n repeat.

You have to reset them only pick up containers in free roam while in a mission play mission c2w 4 or 5 times then the containers will reset I have a video showing you how to complete it you don’t even have to get out the chopper 👍

You are doing it wrong, you need to start the mission in freeroam and abort when you collect materials if you restart the material amount drops

Abort Mission ( Return To ACC) is the only option they give.
A year late but for anyone else wondering, this is because he started the mission from the heli instead of doing it from the Afghanistan open world.

What if I collected them earlier during the mission
Then you have to reset them by playing 4 or 5 story missions it’s a pain thats why you don’t pick them up unless your in free roam
