This is really impressive considering the price, etc. I saw the same thing done with a Lightning brand otf and it worked fine afterwards.
You may have bent the little steel tabs that locks the blade open and stops the blade retracting when stabbing/piercing. You should do an autopsy video and see what happened and if you can fix it.

X-Ring did torture tests on Microtech OTFs where he beat the hell out of them way beyond normal use & they held up fine. Hammered straight through wood & not one failure. He has since gone on to be an employee for the company, it's worth watching his tests they are quite impressive.
I'd like to own OTFs myself but unfortunately they are banned here in Australia.

Thank you 🙏 bro for doing this video .. a lot of people don’t know this - but most quality OTFS can take a beating .. they did a video way back of punching a Microtech Scarab into a steel oil drum 🛢️ lid .. pulled it out and it still functioned .
Hence why I own a Combat Troodon 😅

Old school, Italian 1960's OTF with 6 inch blade (pearl handle). Took like 90 lbs to load it. Press the knife up against any place on a body and it would drive it self in.

I wanted to like my SE Ultratech more but find ny self enjoying my normal folders better. Knives like my Demko titanium Ad20.5, ZT 0562ti, Benchmade 940, and spyderco pm2 are just picked way more often then the Ultratech. Mayby its from habit but then again I don't even use them either most of the time because i typically have a traditional pocket knife (typically a stockman) on me for all but the heaviest of task.

There's a couple torture tests of the microtech OTF that is absolutely amazing. They hammer it balls deep into asphalt and wiggle it side to side back and forth and still operational with no broken tip of the blade. Oh, that was after they stabbed it through a car hood about 5 or 6 times. I'm guessing the car hood was aluminum but that's still impressive.
